Take pictures of severy it takes a lot of time

Hello

We use VBAI 2012 and Basler Ace cameras for an application. We want to take three images one after the other on the highest speed. The pictures are set to 1ms exposure time.

When you do a test photo the first cue point is 1ms, the second need photo 14ms and the third 27ms.

We tried with immediate photo and take each picture.

is there a trick how we can manage to make several images one after the other?

Thank you

Oliver

How much time it take the camera to take a picture?  An exposure time of 13 ms would create at that interval.  It also depends on how long it takes the camera to reflect the image.  Speed max on the camera is about 60 Hz, if give you on this rate.

Reduce the exposure time will speed up the game.  Reduce the size of the image is the only way to reduce transfer times.

See how fast MAX gives you in free run mode.  Who will be the best rate, you can get even with the outbreak.  It takes just the camera, a minimum amount of time to take an image and read in the sensor until it is ready for the next picture.

Question - generation of Table statistics takes a lot of time in 10g R2 (10.2.05) and even ends in mnts in a different database. As well the database are hosted on the server VM, RAM, CPU, storage and database initialization parameters are the same.

  • Start of Satellite L300-1 has 3 takes a lot of time

    Dear Sirs

I bought a laptop from 1 to 3 Satellite L300 there is little time and I noticed that it is too slow at startup. It takes sometimes more than any portable computer so that it starts.

This model is like that, or it can be changed or may be downgraded to Windows XP?

    Hello!

Here in the forum are already discussions on this problem so that you can search a little.

There are many ways to make Windows and departure faster upward. For example of auto-start all the, you need to disable programs that you don t need, disable services, defragment your drive HARD and far.

Of course, you can install Windows XP on your laptop. Pilots and others, that you will find on the download from Toshiba site:

  • Satellite A300-1ME - startup takes a lot of time

    Hello!

    I bought a Satellite A300-1ME a week ago and I had a few problems.
When I arrived home, I picked up the phone and connected to the power adapter and the Vista installation. Then, with the loan of PC, I uninstalled Google Desktop and toolbar Google which for me are useless and is preinstalled.

Then I rebooted and surprise: after the Windows Orb during the connection, it came to a wait... screen, and he stood here for an hour, so I did a hard reset and the same story, I can t reach the login screen.

Started on mode without failure all well, done a restoration of the system, reboot and nothing the same problem. Started by using the recovery system in the laptop and tried to make another system of recovery here. He started and when it reached the end this game me an error because he says ' there is zero of the file to restore "or something else. I used the other recovery system which format and reinstall Windows. Once again, on the desktop, I rebooted and the same thing: wait...

Went to the dealer the day of purchase, and they gave me another. Now, it seems to work well, but the boot time of the Windows Orb on the screen to login, it takes about 1 minute in the best of cases, also uninstalled McAfee Security Suite and nothing.

So I would like to know if this is normal due to being a laptop, well as my other PC with 8 years and with Vista is faster when connecting (not not to use it). I think it may be because of all the drivers and all that which is preinstalled, but I fear to uninstall Google Desktop on it and my computer being useless new m.

And put XP inside, what guarantees mean? Will I have lost if I install XP with all the drivers of Toshiba and the SATA driver that I found for this laptop?

Thank you very much for reading.

    Hello!

Are already in the forum discussion on this topic. You will find, if you are looking for a little bit.

You can make Vista faster, if you defragment the HARD disk, remove the software that you don't need, configure the program sartup and disable services.
Here is a good article on services in Vista:
    http://www.speedyvista.com/services.php

I m sure the Satellite A300 is faster than your 8 years old PC. ;)

If you want to install XP, it is no problem. You will not lost the warranty, because you do not modify the materials or disassemble the laptop.
And Yes, you need SATA drivers. You can download it from the site Web of Toshiba (Intel Storage Manager). Copy the drivers on a floppy disk, or you build your installation disc on with nLite.

  • External sample clock change takes a lot of time on the SMU-5186

    Hello

I use the external Lv - niScope EX Clocking.vi example to define SMU-5186 using an external sample clock.  However, it takes a long time, 5-6 minutes, before I can get the first block of data acquisition.

Then I run the example 'niScope EX Acquisition.vi Configured' to switch to dashboard clock. There are also 5 to 6 minutes on the first acquisition.

I think maybe the SMU-5186 made some calibration when I change the source of the clock.

Anyway is to ignore the calibration? Or make it faster?

    Thank you very much

    Yiming

    Yiming,

Delays in acquisition are caused by calibration routines that must be performed on the engine to sample (ADC) every time that changes sampling rate.  This ensures our justified precision specifications.

I don't know if you've noticed also calibration of Power-Up, which will take 5-10 minutes to complete when the unit is turned on.  This is mentioned in our specifications at page 18:

    http://www.NI.com/PDF/manuals/373257b.PDF#page=18

    I hope this helps.

  • PXI-6289 DAC takes a lot of time defining

I use a PXI-6289 and a controller SMU-8101. The controller is configured with an operating system in real time. Recently, I moved to LabWindows/CVI 2012-2013. When I made changes to my application on the PXI system, I had to update the software on the PXI system so it would be compatible with the software in the LabWindows/CVI. After I did I recompiled my application PXI and noticed a bad behavior. I finally reduced to the part where I'm putting the DAC on the PXI-6289. I noticed that it takes 80ms to alter the output DAC. I have I think maybe installed software that has some compatibility issues with the OS for real-time PXI. The software installed is the driver OR DAQmx 9.7.5. Anyone had similar problems?

Would probably not noticeable in most applications, but I can see it because I'm able the transient response of a RC filter so I'll try to catch changing the setting DAC while I'm acquires a waveform with ESA. As I said this only started happening after I moved out of LabWindows/CVI 2012-2013, so I think it may be the software. An excerpt from fo code that defines data acquisition; Maybe there is a better way to do this.
