  For the tank, you can copy the background and filling of the classic scenes.  Customize the classic scenes, change to tweezers, select background, copy it to the Clipboard.  Close, and then customize the tank of money.  Yet once, select background and choose copy to the Clipboard at the same size.  Repeat for the filling.

  If you are familiar with the concept of a Subvi, you can do a Subvi act as a popup to play with the properties of VI. You can trigger this popup in your code using a mouse event down or something similar. Usually, when I have configuration settings, I hide them under a separate tab on the front panel. I like tab controls well, and not some people.

  I am very new to labVIEW. I have an assignment to simulate a pump and a tank. I have to fill the tank to the pump works to reason. The beaches of the pump between 40 and 180 gallons per minute.   How would you do it if you followed the data with a pencil and paper? You notice the amount of water in the tank at the end of every second and add the amount pumped in during every second.

  To do this in LabVIEW, you need a loop to repeat the process. You need a time delay to represent each second.  You can use 1 second delays or a shorter period to run faster than real time. You need a registry change to contain the accumulated water amount. An ADD function. A control to represent the rate of the pump. An indicator to show how much water is in the tank.  LabVIEW includes a nice tank indicator.

  Try it. If you do not understand something, after what you have tried and an explanation on what does not work as expected.

• Rule the world works not!

  Hi all

  I created a global rule to update the value of security group based on the indicator custom during checkin/update. Global rule was working fine, but when I presented the field xIdcProfile to a rule of profile as hidden (since Idcprofile do not have updated before adding it to the rule of profile) the global rule has stopped working. In the global rule, I selected the Checkin activation and put condition to date.

  Currently the security group receives the default value of value of rule to profile. Plesae let me know how to solve this problem.

• Create a set of overlay-point line on an indicator of tank

  Is there a known method to manage this better? I have been experimenting with custom controls and analysis on their GObjects, their casting to the controls and play with the properties of some, but have not had much luck. I tried with an indicator of tank that I have configured with multiple slides (in aid of transparent fills but the traits of red level), but it seems not trivial due to program, set the value of these things, or get them to behave in a neat overlay feature, can be used for tank low/high bound set points.

  Send command Subvi reference and use the value property node.

  OK, he tried out and it worked. Please, do not use search & replace, simply change the 'Question' in the right column, and that it is in the progress indicator. Here is a screenshot, in " question van of %d %d", I changed 'issue %d of %d' (left column)

• custom indicator gauge needles

  Someone at - it something for the manufacture of different types of needles for an indicator on the dipstick? For example, I want to show an instantaneous value with standard needle as well as an average value or threshold with a line or a triangle of external pointing inward. I thought using markers of scale arbitrary and covering of the tick mark, but can't seem to do it either. I can do those two things on an indicator of the slide, but can't seem to do the equivalent on a gauge. I know that I could probably do it with an image, but it seems a lot of work.

  I was doing custom icons (finally not very personal, but it is still at least somet ext) are for the controls and indicators, when I realized the only time where you see when you open the control itself, ot if you go over it in the project with the help on.

  So the question is:

  It is useful to create a custom for each custom control icon that you perform, if we see that very rarely?  (The exception being a cluster, since in later versions of LabVIEW, you can actually represent your cluster on the BD as the icon that you have done for her, so it IS definitely worth making an icon for it.)

  You said correctly, very often (I won't say RARELY) we see the icons to a custom... control but I prefer to create icon for each custom control because it certainly adds value.
  I often use the VI hierarchy, context help window window and here a custom icon help.

  , which means that html tags most are transferred to the side of data operation, away from the model, that is simply not so nice and everything a bit messy.

  I suggest you spend the conditional processing in the model using models of conditional line based on PL/SQL expressions, as well as the last row is not out if qmmUserNote is null.

  don't mind the 4 colors. Search using the context, they are for the States of the LED. I think you don't need them.

  

  I have attached a simple example how you can vary the color of an LED.

• custom movement indicator

  I have a chart or search the table that I update.  The data entered somewhere else on the VI and when you press the button "Refresh" the data is entered in the table according to the current value of the other data.  I want to inform the user of the current value of this "other data".  I have tried to create an option button, but could not get this to work.  These data are defined as a constant enumorated.  I also tried the other data next to the table as a table and flashing the current value, but could not get it work either.  I wish that the value of pop up, maybe on or with a table next to the appropriate array index.  Please notify.  Thank you.

  I made one with an integer slider which can write to indicate the index position in your application as you wish.
