Target execution and commissioning

Hello, I want to configure my system for an automatic start.

I have a 1744SC SmartCamera.

I put the correct inspection on the Option 'target'-> start...

But when I run Vision Builder 3.6, the software starts automatically with the execution target: smart camera emulator. In my case, I need to start with the execution target: 192.168.1.3 - NOR-1744SC.

I don't know how I can choose that goal... in the VisionBuilder.ini?

Hope someone could help me.

Thank you...

MF

Ok thank you...

I create a web server and a custom application interface and I have access to an html page.

Good.

    I'm trying to simplify my generation of application process. Currently, every time I do a new build, I take the current build and change the name of construction technique, target filename and destination the directory manually.

  • Firewall rules RMAN target database and RMAN catalog database

    Hi, we are on Oracle 11.2.0.4 and we just build a new environment, in which case the RMAN catalog is located on a seprate from the target database server. I'm trying to figure if the firewall between these two rules should be two-way, so that the target database and RMAN catalog database can ping each other. If bi-directional rules in place, so what's the reason for this? I understand that during RMAN backup entries are made in the RMAN catalog database, but do not know if the RMAN catalog database must always meet target db. Thank you!

    If you run the rman command on the target database server, it acts as a client to the catalog database server by connecting on sqlnet to the catalog database.

    If you run the rman command on the catalog database server, it's a sqlnet connection join the target database server.

    In both cases, rman is simply a client that connects to the two databases.

  • target, auxiliary and catalog database

    Hi gurus,

    I need to have a few lights on the target, auxiliary and catalog databases.

    especially difference between the auxiliary and the database catalog.

    Kind regards

    Manish

    Hello

    Your target is the database that you are backing up, and in the case of a duplicate database, it would be the source database.  Example below is when I connect to the target database, which is what I want to save (note that below I sign in using the catalog in which case we'll use the controlfile and no catalog).

    oracle:/home/oracle:testdb #> rman target /

    Recovery Manager: Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production on Mon Feb 17 15:24:02 2014

    Copyright (c) 1982, 2011, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.

    connected to target database: testdb (DBID=2759143361)

    RMAN>

    The auxiliary database is the database which, in the case of a duplicate database, the database that you duplicate would be.  So, for example, that if you configure a database ensure using the duplicate database (and maybe double active database database) the main database would be the target and the database pending would be the auxiliary.

    The catalog database is when you use a RMAN catalog instead of using the control file... Note below to specify the catalog when you connect and it says 'connected to the datalog retrieval database' once you have connected that he did not in the example above when you signed in using the control file. In this case, the rman information is stored in the control as well as the datalog database file.  (Control NB file is always the primary source").

    oracle:/home/oracle:testdb #> rman target / catalog rman/password@rcat1

    Recovery Manager: Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production on Mon Feb 17 15:24:16 2014

    Copyright (c) 1982, 2011, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.

    connected to target database: testdb (DBID=2759143361)
    connected to recovery catalog database

    RMAN>

    There are several reasons why a catalogue database is used... for example:

    (1) it can store scripts.

    (2) you have a central repository for all of your databases.

    (3) you are not limited as to how long you can store your backup information.  Thie is determined by the controlfile_record_keep_time parameter when you use the controlfile and you type can be set quite high but then your controlfile can grow quite large as well.

    Stor for more information on the recovery catalog, you can see below:

    SQL all (and all the anonymous PL/SQL blocks) are analyzed by Oracle as a SQL cursors. These cursor structures are stored in the Shared Pool in the SGA (shared memory area which are essentially the "brain" of the database instance).

    Once a cursor was created for a statement SQL, how to use and interface with this SQL cursor on the server (from the point of view of the customer)?

    We use on the client side, a calling interface (or API) that allows our code to interact with this SQL cursor on the server. This interface can be ODBC. Or BDE. Or ADO. Or many other 3-4 letters for database interfaces.

    PL/SQL is also a language of 'customer' from a SQL perspective. Such as Java and c#, the code PL/SQL will be calls to the SQL engine to analyze and create SQL cursors.

    Of course, PL/SQL differs in 2 areas. It runs in the process of the Oracle server. It is the neighbour of the SQL engine.

    For this reason, PL/SQL is much more perfectly integrated with the SQL than Java or c#.

    But even in spite of this integration, you still need an interface in the client (PL/SQL) to interact with the SQL cursor, that you have created. In PL/SQL, there are a number of such interfaces customer.

    There are explicit and implicit cursors. And there are sliders DBMS_SQL and reference. And there are implicit cursors created through immediate enforcement.

    The difference between DBMS_SQL and immediate execution is therefore a difference in customer language interface. The SQL cursor on the server (in the shared Pool) doesn't know what customer interface is used. He cares not.

    Client side, each of these client interfaces to a SQL cursor has a different function. And determines which one to use.

    run immediately , it's fast and easy for dynamic SQL, but it cannot be used to determine the structure (called projection SQL) returned by a cursor to Select . So despite the dynamic SQL code, we must always know the encoding of time, just what this slider will return to consume its production.

    DBMS_SQL to 'describe' the cursor SQL projection. So, we can create a dynamic Select SQL cursor. We can question its interface describe in order to determine the number, names and the data types of the columns returned. It can be removed these column values dynamically and consume the cursor.

    There are therefore a major difference in the two feature sets. Tools for interfacing with the same SQL cursor.

    So the main points to remember are:
    -all SQL liquidation as SQL cursors on the server
    -you have different interfaces in the language of the client to interact with a SQL cursor

    ++

    Your mission as a programmer, if you choose to accept it, is to determine which of these client interfaces is better suited to meet the requirements in your code.

  • Dbms_parallel_execute.run_task of execution and pass several Params to the target procedure

    Hello

    I look for my hand on the dbms_parallel_execute package in Oracle 11 g Release 2 and needed help to find a way to pass additional parameters

    the target procedure when it is called from dbms_parallel_execute.run_task.

    Please see this link for an explanation of the use of the package:

    https://asktom.Oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:4248554900346593542

    Usage example:

    declare
      l_var NUMBER := 0;
    begin
      --Sample execution from above link
      dbms_parallel_execute.run_task
      ( task_name      => ‘PROCESS BIG TABLE’,
       sql_stmt       => 'begin serial( :start_id, :end_id ); end;',
       language_flag  => DBMS_SQL.NATIVE,
       parallel_level => 4 );

      --Desired execution
      dbms_parallel_execute.run_task
      ( task_name      => ‘PROCESS BIG TABLE’,
       sql_stmt       => 'begin serial( :start_id, :end_id, "HOW TO PASS l_var VARIABLE HERE" ); end;',
       language_flag  => DBMS_SQL.NATIVE,
       parallel_level => 4 );
    end;
    /

    Now, for the procedure of series, apart from the parameters start_id and end_id, we have additional params such as l_var.

    Can someone help me please to solve this problem?. Any help on this approach would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hardcode the parameters in the dynamic statement as literals. After all, these globals are set of constants for the task parallel, correct?

    Just make sure that you are coding explicit data type conversions. For example

    pqStatement := 'begin DoSerial( startRow => :start_id, endRow => :end_id, day=> to_date('''||||''',''yyyy-mm-dd'') ); end;';

    Of course, also explicitly caste global parameter to a string when concat'ing in the dynamic instruction of the PQ.

  • 9068 and faster code execution and use dual-core

    Hi eveyone,

    I'm working on a project where a C library is called a vi Labview on computer target. I have two platforms Crio namely 9082 and 9068 who have two operating systems and hardware. I compiled my code with Labwindows and successfully run in the Crio 9082 in 70 Ms when I check with the distributed systems management tool, are both the active processor cores taking on 50% load.

    For the second platform Crio, namely 9068, I compiled the code even with Eclipse and run it on 9068. It works and produces the same result, but in Ms. 1400 when I check the CPU usage, a single processor takes almost 100% of load and the other is about 7%. It seems that the CPU allocation is different from 9082. I tried looping timed to manually adjust the cpu but it does not work (namely it allows only 1 cpu usage). My basic problem is to run my code faster in 9068, and of course, the problem may be different by an inefficient use of dual core in 9068. I tried different code optimizations (i.e., - O2,-O3, - Os) in Eclipse gear and they make almost no difference. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Gear

    OK, so it looks like you don't have that a single thread of execution, then, is that correct?

    There are compilation flags that can significantly improve the performance of point floating on the ARM. If you are not already doing so, I recommend the following (in http://www.ni.com/tutorial/14625/en/#toc5)

    (Objectives focusing on the ARM) Perform the following steps to improve the performance of the floating-point operations:

  • iMac darkens when in display mode using target (TDM) and the lack of brightness slider!

    Hi all

    I use a MacBook Pro (13 "to end 2011) and iMac (27", by the end of 2012). Both are up to date, running El Capitan 10.11.5. They are connected with a thunderbolt cable in order to use the iMac as a second screen (TDM).

    Now, when I press CMD + F2 to the iMac, iMac gets used as second screen as expected, but it goes really dark! He's not black, you can still see the desktop but on a sunny day, it's really hard to see anything. Now, it's pretty embarrassing, but the second part of the question makes it a pain in the *. When the iMac is dark, I always go to the system preferences and open the settings for the display. I can see a window with the parameters for the iMac, but there is no cursor for the brightness! There is no way to make it brighter!

    The only solution is to disable the target (CMD + F2) just display mode to enable it again after a few seconds. Sometimes I have to activate the TDM twice but sometimes it takes 4 or 5 loops toggle just to see the brightness slider!

    Here is a screenshot of the settings without the cursor window

    And that's what it looks like after a few loops, and then I can adjust the brightness.

    Any ideas why this happens? Any advice on a possible solution? Why - what is darkening the iMac? Why is the cursor missing?

    Best,

    Stephan

  • New reminder of the execution and the appellant

    Hello

    I created a sequence that launches two new executions. These 2 executions can be considered 2 branches, each calling a specific sous-suite in the same file. These 2 branches are launched as 'new performance' because you can pause the other (which is not possible if these 2 branches are launched as 'son').

    I don't want my 2 "branches" to run the entry points, because all the necessary information (identification, report options, etc.) are already getting main sequence (the appellant). If the sequence calls are set to launch the subsequences without any process template.

    The problem is that my reminders of process model are not triggered by these 2 "branches". Only the appellant trigger.

    Is it possible to force my 2 "branches" to trigger my recall process model?

    Hi Jürgen,

    I found the solution. Indeed, I have a custom process template. So I continued customizing adding a new point of entry. In this entry point, I added a simple call to the subsequence that I have to run as a new execution.

    In my MainSequence, my seqcalls are set to perform a new operation with the process template for the client file, the entry point is set to be the entry point newly created and configured to use the current file. This new point of entry as 1 parameter: the name of the subsequence to be executed.

    This way my process template is still in use, so my new executions have access to my reminders of process model.

    Thank you very much for your help!

  • Run code on the host target RT and FPGA

    Hi all

    I'm sorry if I ask a question to repeat. I searched for this a bit and couldn't find a solution.

    I'm trying to run a single VI (be it on RT compactRIO or on the connected host PC) and enforce the code on the host PC and target the FPGA code RT. I currently code that runs on the host PC computer that opens the FPGA reference and executes code FPGA, but I don't know how to do this with a VI on the target of RT. Any advice/help would be great. Thank you!

    Brandon

    You are not far from your goal. But you need to at least

    1. Update FPGA code (Bitfile) containing your code to run on the FPGA.
    2. An executable compiled for your goal of RT, which is set to autostart.
      You can use the code from my first post as a starting point. Compile, deploy and set it to autostart on your target of RT.
    3. An executable compiled for the host machine. that your user will begin.
      You can use the code in my first post, maybe load IP address, Port etc. of the Ini file settings.

    If you double-click on the exe file on your host computer it will open an application reference to your target computer of RT and call the VI on the target machine. This is how you run code on your RT. From this RT code you can download and run the FPGA (bitfile) to your FPGA code or control which is already running the FPGA by controlling a state machine code. Load more screws to your memory of RT targets and call them from your host to add more functionality if you need to.
