Taskbar, missing

I had left my computer for a bit, and when I got home that the screen was black.  I moved the mouse and press several keys, but the screen did not reappear.  THEN, I started to click anywhere on the screen and press several buttons to try to make the screen opened upward.  The screen came back to the top, but my taskbar at the bottom disappeared.  I moved my cursor on the screen to see if it was minimized or moved but never been able to find anything.  I went to Microsoft to try to see what I had to do. I have made suggestions on how to open, lock and change the taskbar, but NO one respawns.  He is absent, no matter what I do (it does not disappear when I use a program, it's just gone).  Does anyone know how to recover a removed taskbar?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried that?

Press Ctrl + Alt + Del > select Task Manager > file > new task (run...) > in the Open box, type explore> OK

Is back on the taskbar?
If so, make sure that you "lock the taskbar".

The taskbar is resizable, like a window, and it can be set to zero
lines of ups. Maybe that's your problem, and fixing must be the
first thing you should try. You may have accidentally resized to
zero lines of ups. Place the cursor on the bottom of the screen and pass
it upward and down slightly until it turns into a two-headed arrow.
Click on, and then drag it to the desired size.

  • Taskbar, missing only when the windows are maximized

    Hello

I used to have rocketdock (didn't like it, uninstalled) and I got a "button" that would be to show and hide the taskbar. I have the feeling that this "button" caused this problem but I have no idea how to solve this problem, beyond what I already have.

My taskbar disappears whenever I have maximize any window. It is used to disappear whenever a window was open, but I stopped that from happening by closing rocketdock (which is completely disappear even when comes on the desktop), but I fixed that by resetting my taskbar settings I did the trick until I enlarged a window. This happens with any window open. I tried to restart explorer.exe but that didn't work either.

I am running Vista Home Premium x 32.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

LOL fixed. I checked "keep above other windows" and it's working now...

  • Choser volume in the taskbar missing

Every so often, the small icon "speaker" on the bottom right of the task bar disappears, and in icons system is 'off' and grayed out, so I'm not able to get it back.  Then at random after reboot or turn off the system, it magically reappears.  This 64-bit OS Windows is the more strange, the flakiest and the slowest since Windows 95... and I'm confused several times by things like the evanescent Volume icon.  Y at - it a simple way to identify WHY it happens, how to stop it and how to get the icon at the time where it disappears?

    Hello

This problem can occur if the registry files are damaged. I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps form the article and also run the fixit and check if it helps.

System icons do not appear in the notification area in Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must restart the computer

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/945011/en-us

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. original title: taskbar missing

I lost my taskbar! My son thinks I can be inadvertently resized to what happened to him, I can't get it back. Help!

Thank you, everyone, for your entry. My son told me about the possibility of my having inadvertently resized the taskbar, but I couldn't find evidence of it anywhere. In the end, I came across a menu option that allowed me to block the taskbar; It had apparently been unlocked. When I did, he returned. If he ever once again, however, I remember F11. Thank you, all.

  • Taskbar gone e-mail

I opened my e-mail (Windows Mail) to write an email and I noticed that the words "Create mail" were missing from the taskbar. I have no idea why. Then I decided before an email and it was then I realized that the words before, send/receive were missing as well and when the fire came and I realized that the taskbar missed everything. I clicked on messages (the bar with file, editing, tools, GSM etc. always there) to track the message in this way, but can not send to a particular person, only answer at all and in the window that opens with the e-mail, there is no 'send' in any case. Can someone help me please get my task bar back. Thank you.

Right-click on an empty spot on the menu bar (file, editing, etc.) and check the toolbar.

Thank you very much.  It turns out that it was actually the taskbar missing.  Once I got this correctly, it was obvious.  So it's your mentioning the taskbar that put me on the right track.  Once again, thank you!

    Hello

Tasks that are not present in the taskbar area?
As far as I know if the application has started as a background process doesn t lie in the taskbar.
Also possibly installing some programs ask you if you want to create the icon in the taskbar.
