Just to close this thread-based on my experience, you will not have to RIM or DR tax slips or other.  It is up to you to keep track of your income and expenses and to report on your return of income as an individual or a corporation, according to what best suits your situation.

  • JavaScript for the calculation of tax on income at several levels

    Hello world

    I am writing a script to custom calculation for the calculation of tax on income at several levels:

    1. the income up to $40,000 (20%)

    2. revenue between $40 001 and $60,000 (30%)

    3. revenue between $60 001 and $100,000 (35%)

    4 income more than $100 001 (40%)

    If the income is $ 80,000, tax calculation would be:

    Total tax = (40 000 * 20%) + (20 000 * 30%) + (20 000 * 35%)

    I managed to get the correct calculation for #1 but I'm having a difficult time for the rest. Here is my script to the point #1

    var value = Number (this.getField("Income").value);

    if(nValue<40001) {event.value = math.max (0, nValue * 0.20);}

    }

    else {event.value = 40000 * 0.20;}

    }

    Also, when I tried to change the amounts in the income, the tax has not changed.

    Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    I think that you need a script like:

    Event.Value = 0;
    var value = this.getField("Income").value;

    If (value > 0 & nValue)< 40000)="">
    20% of the income;
    NValue = Event.Value *. 2;
    }
    If (value > = 40000 & nValue)< 60000)="">
    30% of income plus 40 000 + 20% of 40000;
    Event.Value = (.3 * (nValue - 40000)) + (.2 * 40000);
    }
    If (value > = 60000 & nValue)< 100000)="">
    amount of 35% more than 60 000 + 30% 20 000 + 20% of the 40,000
    Event.Value = (.35 *(nValue-60000) + (.3 * 20000) + (.2 * 40000);)
    }
    If (value > = 100000) {}
    40% amount plus 100 000 + 35% of 40 000 + 30% of 20000, 20% of the 40,000
    Event.Value = (.4 * (nValue - 100000)) + (.35 * 40000) + (.3 * 20000) + (.2 * 40000);
    }

  • Tax assistance Calc

    Hi all

    Little help on the Calc script, here's my account dimension:

    Profit and loss account
    -Net income
    -Profit before tax (dynamic Calc)
    -Taxes (dynamic Calc)
    -1234 (+) (tax on income)

    Departments
    YearTot
    Scenario of
    -Real
    -Budget
    -Forecasts
    Years

    For real, the income tax is responsible for account 1234. Now for the Budget and forecast, I want to use 37% tax rate to calculate the income tax. If income = income before tax * 0.37. I'm trying to find a way of saying: if it's not real then made the calculation, do not know how to do.

    All advice is appreciated.

    You must create a member calc"block"in which to use the 'IF'. It should look like this (not tested!):

    FIX("Budget", "Forecast")
       "Income Tax"(
          IF("Income Before Tax" > 0)
             "Income Tax" = "Income Before Tax" * 0.37;
          ENDIF)
    ENDFIX

    A packing alternative would be to use the @MAX function to return the highest of the "income tax" and zero, but that might create a group of values null that you really don't want.

    The formula Member solution I mentioned would also work.

  • LaserJet M128: pre-install the printer driver

    I prepare about 40 laptops for use by our volunteers tax volunteer income Assistance (VITA) for the coming season.  I want to pre-install driver printer HP and public services on these laptops without a printer to connect via USB or wireless.  Once computers and printers are deployed on VITA sites, we configure printers and laptop computers to use the IP address assigned by the network of the site.

    I would like to install the drivers and software advances so that the Setup program on the site takes less time.

    Seems that the installation software will not work unless it can "talk" to a printer during the installation.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hi @drew3820,

    I see that you would like to know how to set up the printer on multiple computers via the cable network. I can help you with this.

    I believe that with this model during installation, that need the printer to be connected and then you can configure the printer via Ethernet wired network. You wouldn't be able to preinstall the software of the printer on other computers if this is the case, which is inconvient. But you should be able to simply run the add printer on other computers Wizard, then navigate to the CD to install the software.

    I hope this helps.

    If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below. Thank you.

  • Columns to be registered in the ra_interface_lines_all table in the incoming Interface of the tax?

    Hi all

    We are upgrading EBS 11i instance to R 12.1.3. There are interfaces to Recevibles transactions that retrieves data from a data file and import of invoices after validation.

    In 11i, ra_interface_lines_all tax_code column was populated for details of import taxes. But in R12 tax_code column is not used. Can someone tell me which columns we have to fill in the table ra_interface_lines_all for the tax details, I can see there are many tax related columns. I come from the details of the taxes of the zx_rates_b table.

    Which column should be used in this table as an entry in tax_code (or another column) in ra_interface_lines_all.?

    Thank you

    Patricia K.

    Hi Patricia,

    The tax value is taken from ZX_TAXES_B.TAX
    For TAX_STATUS_CODE, value is taken from ZX_STATUS_B.TAX_STATUS_CODE
    For TAX_RATE_CODE, the value of the TAX_RATE_CODE ZX_RATES_B.

  • Get on tax NETFILE reader/c - xp

    Instructions by Revenue Canada say press browse and then double-click docs + settings - do not know where to find cover from the GB - PS - I am a beginner on this - thanks for any help - Don W.

    You shorten the instructions too.

    I think that what you're trying to do is to "netfile" an income tax that you have prepared using some unidentified software on your computer at home.  Is this correct?

    Assuming that's what you try to do and more far assuming that you have completed your income tax return using one of the approved firmware, then software will be saved as a file with the extension completed at your return. (the part of the name after the dot) of the tax, such as DonWatson2013.tax.

    The first thing we do is to ensure that you can see the extensions of files (including Windows default MASK).  Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) window, click Tools > Folder Options

    In the Folder Options window, click the view tab.  Then, make sure that the box for "Hide extensions of known file types" is disabled.  And then click OK.

    Now, go to this page--> http://www.netfile.gc.ca/

    • Click on the button "ready to drop."
    • Click on the I accept"" button.
    • Click on the button "to proceed with NETFILE.
    • Fill in the data in step 1.
    • Click on the button 'Browse' at the bottom of the section of step 2.  Should open a window as follows:

    This seems to be the step where you encounter problems (it sounds as if you read the instructions here--> http://www.netfile.gc.ca/ntttxt-eng.html)

    The button 'Browse' the data refer to is the one on the page of "Transmission by NETFILE.

    The 'drop' the data refer to the East the list that appears when you click the arrow at the right end of the box "search in" in the figure above.

    When you have found the file (you may need to scroll to the bottom), click once to select (this will highlight) and click on the button 'open '.  Return to the NETFILE Transmission page where you can complete your tax form submission process.

    If your tax file was not justified in the default location for your software and you don't know where he was saved, see these instructions--> http://www.netfile.gc.ca/txtbsd-eng.html unfortunately, however, well #2 tells you how to find the file, #3 explains only how to "Paste" the location and not to copy the location.  Post back if you get to this stage and more difficult.

  • How can I send a file "adobe", it's my 2009 taxes my lawyer needs him to PDF?

    I tried most of the day to get the 2009 income tax return that I have on my computer of HR block that I need to send this tax documentation to a lawyer and he is coming through HRblock as a format of Adobe but will not let me send email online?  It is 22 pages long.

    It is unclear what "email"button you are clicking on, but if it's a button in Adobe Reader (it is what it sounds like), this is not the right way for you to send the file.

    • Close Adobe Reader software.
    • Sign in to Hotmail
    • Click on the link 'send email '.
    • Fill in the "to" and "Subject" lines
    • Click on the link 'Attachments' (after 'Insert')
    • Find your file in the "Send file" box and click on 'open '.
    • You will see the name of the file and the message "Download".
      • Most people have slow download speed, so if it's a large file, it will take quite a long time.
      • If the file is smaller than 25 MB, it will be attached to the email, and you will see the name of the file and its size in an area under the "Insert" keys
      • If the file is large at 25 MB, it will be transferred to your SkyDrive (you get automatically a SkyDrive with the same Windows Live ID that you use here and in Hotmail) and a link will be attached to the email instead of the actual file.
      • I have not done it myself, so I don't know what appears in the input box, but it probably gives an indication that it is a link rather than the file itself
    • Enter text in the body of the email and click Send.  Because you have already downloaded the file, click on 'Send' response should be fast.
