  Having been using Firefox for a few years now and never had any problems with access to Hotmail. Recently updated to 12 of Firefox and initially it worked fine with Hotmail.

  Since we don't know anything about your system, I'll give you some instructions which will work for XP Service Pack 3.

  To install the fax of XP with no CD Service, download the version of Service Pack 3 to XPFax.zip since my SkyDrive and extract/unzip the file in a folder on your desktop or somewhere on your system to a folder name, you can remember (there are 35 files in zip archive).

  During the installation of the XP Fax Services and it asks you your installation CD, change the location of the file to point to the folder where the 35 files on your system.  Whenever the installation asks you for a file on your CD, change the location to look in the folder XPFax, until the installation is complete.

  Restart and test.

  Here's how to get the file XPFax.zip from my SkyDrive:

  When you see the files available for download, you will not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension (most of the time).

  When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, it cannot save the file with an extension (such as .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

  You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You don't want to use a file called XPFax when the name of the file should really be called XPFax.zip (if the downloaded file has no extension you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to run).

  I sometimes stick roomtone in a selection box to get rid of the unwanted noise. With CS6, it wasn't a problem, but CC insists on the creation of a break in the waveform, insertion of silence above and below the selection, which makes the selection rectangle itself unusable. Am I the only person who needs to do or the only one who did not understand workaround for CS6?

  Apparently, it's a bug known dating back a few years and who has never been fixed. The workaround is apparently to remove the first, then mix dough using both copied and audio at 100%. I will give that a try when I return to work tomorrow.

  I tried everything I know to do.  I have a word document that I inserted a photo in and it keeps cutting off my photos.  This is also when I insert a clip art image.  I downloaded new drivers and everything.  I do not lose any information on my file with the exception of the part of the image to the break.  I tried to resize and crop the image.  That did not help either.

  I used to play Spades and backgammon on msngames (msn zone). It will not now allow the upcoming game.  Said... Oops; Failed to install.  Do things step 1,2,3, etc..  Have gone through all these steps.  Still nothing.  Someone can help me.  I have IE 9 regular and 64-bit.  I tried by both.  A message indicates the 64-bit could not be my default browser.  My computer is now set to medium, and msn is not a reserved site.  I have AVG and Spybot.  could it be prevent me to switch?  But I had the same problems with Euloge intermittingly (some days I could play, some days the same problem as now.)  This has happened for months.  I get on Pogo with no problem at all.  I like the msn site better and want to solve this problem.

• Windows 7 Quicken 2014 will not work.

  I've been support of Dell and Quicken support on this issue.  None of the two groups can help me.  Quicken 2014 has worked well until he suggested I update, then this error kept appearing and the program will not load a more far.  I went into properties and safety of these two files and I have already 'allow' enabled on all users.  Then, why this error is pointing in the wrong direction?  Where there are permissions?  I'm already logged in as administrator.

  My apologies for not answering sooner.  I solved the problem with the most help from Dell.  Generally, it was reinstall quicken 2014 and by disabling their update.  I don't exactly remember the solution in a rather long process step by step.

  So that's how the memory goes.  Once the problem is resolved, I spend only to get hit again the same question.  I still have complaints and I wish there was a better piece of software as Quicken.  Quicken still has a problem with communicating with my American Bank Web site.  I am now using a work around with direct contact with my Bank Web site and exporting to 2014 to Quicken.

  It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem.
