TC installed, but no Internet access

I installed a new airport Time Capsule, a network and a network of comments. Also used the option to 5 GHz.

The feedback network is the only thing that works now, the other 2 networks do not give access to the Internet. Through the airport-configuration of the TC is not visible more. Rebooting did not help. Any suggestions?

The ' main ' and "network comments" features on the time Capsule airport will not work correctly unless you have a simple, base of the modem only... not a modem/router or gateway type of device which is often provided by most Internet Service providers.

Thus, the first step in troubleshooting here would be to know what kind of modem you have. To do this, we need for you to post back the number of brand and model of the device that you call your "modem".

Whenever the yellow icon pops up that I have troubleshoot and it indicates the default gateway was unavailable and that fixed it, then I have internet again for about 2-5 minutes and it does the same thing. Ive never had this problem on my cpu and the network has not been changed or anything, so I don't know what that the * could cause this. I literally wiped everything on my cpu and then do a system image to restore too. Ive been messing around with the registry, deletion of things here and there missions that I read, but only thing that happens is losing internet alltogether and must restore from system image. to detect new updates for network based components on intel:

check the signal strength of your wireless router and the wireless pci adapter.

  • Guest of the embedded hypervisor - DHCP but no internet access

I have a Hyper-V Server 2012 running on a hypervisor, ESXi 5.1. On the Hyper-V server, I installed a Server 2008 R2 OS. The operating system works very well except for the fact that he is not getting internet access. He get a IP address of my server DHCP (a virtual machine on my ESXi host) and I can release the renew, but I can not ping to the gateway. I have internet access on the Hyper-V server, but not on the Hyper-V host.

Any ideas? I don't think that the ESXi host would do anything to stop a nested comments to access the internet, but thought I would ask here in any case. I write in the Hyper-V forum as well...

    TIA!

Edit - my ESXi box is connected with 1 NIC

You should be able to do this by creating a group of additional ports on the vSwitch promiscuous mode and then reconfigure the Hyper-V guest to use the new port group.

    Hello

Please check in the WLan settings if the TCP/IP protocol settings are set to automatic.

Usually, the WLan router supports a range of IP addresses and assigns an IP address to the laptop of the range of IP addresses.

You can find this setting here:
    ->-Connection network WLan-> properties > network connections (TCP/IP) Internet Protocol-> properties

Also, check if your WLan encryption settings are right!

    Hello

First update the BIOS and update the Wlan card driver.

Here you will find the latest Wlan drivers:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

Then, you must set the settings on Protocol TCP/IP of the WLan card to automatic.
The IP address, a DNS SERVER must be assigned automatically

  • Connected but no internet access (E1200 with laptop Acer Win 7 x 64)

Whenever I come back from a stay in a motel, there are problems to be connected again to the House.  This time, I show that connected to the network wireless 2, but no. Internet access connection.  Yesterday, I figured it out and got things, but today it happened again and I don't get it.  See network properties properly, including appropriate security key.  When I ran Win 7 Network Diagnostics, he returned that I didn't have a valid IP address.  I have reset the router and even unplugged for a minute.  All this time, the ' currently logged on: "network in the sys bar icon showed the Summit he was trying to connect my network name to the internet (downstairs, the network showed as connected, probably by a router).  Another thing I did was to support IP services and disable and stop, then after restart it a few minutes.  Nothing.

But wait!  As I finished typing the last sentence, about an hour after I started the laptop, the first time, I opened center network & sharing once more and suddenly between the name of my computer and the Internet has shown the name of the network, instead of "no internet access."

So, what could be going on here?  (1) why should he take 50 minutes to make the connection?  (2) why do I have problems every time after the use of wireless network from a motel?  Thank you

Update: resolved for now.  I started using the safe mode with networking, which required the implementation of msconfig as F8 does not work.  Which required a repair of the system, and then restore it, and finally I was able to follow the instructions at http://forums.techguy.org/networking/950031-cant-get-valid-ip-address.html.  Solved.

  • Wireless connected but no Internet access

I have a new (5 months) Acer Aspire 5732Z which works in Windows 7. Wireless connection shows that it is connected (full bars) but I have no internet access (there is a signal of yellow exclamation over bars error). I have another laptop running Windows XP which connects well to the same wireless router and wireless for Acer worked very well so far. I was on the phone with my ISP and they said, because it shows that the computer is connected to the wireless, they cannot help me. Anyone has any ideas that can help me?

  • Windows 7 - connected to wireless but no Internet access

I understand that this has been asked before and there are many "solutions" posted on different forums that are not relevant to my problem or simply do not work.

A few weeks back, I was on vacation, my daughter called to ask if I had cut the internet router and BT Hub as she was not able to connect to the internet. It had been fine the day before. I didn't and I couldn't do a lot the lot so said I would sort when I got home.

I just spent the better part of a week trying to access the internet on his laptop, a Toshiba running Windows 7. I know that the internet and wireless works perfectly as his cell phone is sitting right next to my Sony Vaio running Windows 8. Also, my Sky TV, Kindle, Iphone and iPad to my wife connect seamlessly. It would seem that the possible culprit is a Windows Update which took place on 31 August. I tried to go back to her but she was advised by a friend to uninstall the update and she tried to make a file at the same time and now the reversion will not work.

When the laptop starts up, until I connect, there is a dialog box indicating a wireless connection and correct network is listed.

However, after I connected, even if the wireless connection is still showing as a good signal and 'Connected', it is currently connected to: section shows network not identified; No Internet access.

I ran the gamut of the instructions in uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers of network, playing with the settings of Virtual WiFi miniport and almost everything that is proposed on the other forums but not luck so far.

All I know is that someone will want to see the command ipconfig/all results so here they are. I removed the spaces in line to get them on a single page.

Short using 'rebuild the hard drive' Toshiba, I am now at a loss to know what to do. I would also like to know WHY this happened and how it could be avoided in the future.

Any constructive help appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  • Ethernet or wireless is connected but no Internet access

My laptop OS is Win 7 64 bit. My laptop able to connect to the internet, but it suddenly can't connect to the internet via the Ethernet or wireless. I tried to system restore and it worked fine, but after I stopped, the problem was took place again. I don't know if because of the McAfee antivirus or window updates because it has some errors (to McAfee) and Skype has been updated before I had this problem (no internet access).

McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

  • Connected to the network but no internet access?

I had problem connecting to internet. What is happening is that my computer connects to my wifi network, but then a yellow sign with exclamation sign will appear and it says "no Internet access. I'm tired of checking my browsers and they do not connect. I tried ping and he said something in the sense of "cannot find server". Tried to update the drivers, but either they are up to date, or even can not be updated because it is not connected to the internet. Finally, I tried the system restore, and it worked miraculously! But now, about a few days later, the problem came again and I restored the system again. But I thought I can't do this forever. Is there a way to fix it or at least to know what is the problem?
