  I have TC4200 tablet running XP Tablet PC edition OS. My drive came down and I replaced, but I can't find my software anywhere. I have the original code windows xp PC tablet key, but nobody don't seem to be able to tell me where I can get a copy of the original operating system. I bought XP Professional and was able to get the computer up and running but have not been able to get all the features of the tablet to work. Can someone tell me where I can get the orginal installation diskettes or how I can get the tablet of job functions.

  Here are drivers available from HP for your tablet.

  You will most likely need to install the Wacom Digitizer drivers and any other driver who may be absent or unknown in Device Manager.  Some drivers have several posted versions, then only install the most recent.

  I bought a TC1100 and nivida card went bad so I bought another HP Tablet again on ebay, the news is a TC4200 I thought I could use my old the TC1100 pen but it won't work, I was wondering if you know someone because that 1) there is a more recent techonlogy in the TC4200 vs pens the TC1100 or 2) could it be the buyer installed Windows XP operating system Pro and not the XP Tablet version.

• TC4200 Screen Rotation / cursor problem

  I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my TC4200, and so far everything works great. The only problem I've had is with the Q Menu, which is already a known issue. Now, last week, I noticed two things happen: one, the screen is no longer automatic turns when I change the orientation. And two, when I flip the screen either by using the digitizer on the side of the screen or via display options, the cursor does not change orientation and behaves as the screen is always in the ordinary sense. I have re-installed the driver for Penabled from the Wacom site, as well as re - install the drivers of HP Support nothing helps. Did anyone else have this problem, or I'm just on something?

  We have found a solution. We had to use an old version of the Wacom driver and it solved the problem.

  Why is it a problem? It's normal. It is IMAP to work, which allows each of your devices see the same repository of email, on your ISP server. Delete a message and it has disappeared, deleted from the server so it disappears from all other devices.

  If you want to take the traffic messages, but want to keep for future reference, I suggest that move you to a folder under the Local Folders account in Thunderbird.

  Android devices are usually quite selective about what email they download, so you do not necessarily have a full copy of everything stored on the server as in your phone or tablet. Note the time when you access a message or a folder that you have not looked for some older time. It is almost certainly being downloaded on demand.

  The alternative is to use POP, where each device e-mail client makes its own local private copy. It will also delete the original from the server, unless your e-mail client offers you a place to leave a copy. So carefully, you might have a local copy on a phone or table and delete might be organized does not affect the server. I say "carefully" because the default behavior of Thunderbird is to remove copies of the server when the local copy is deleted. I can't speak for other email clients how to handle this situation. And some do not support POP access. It is not a good fit in the memory limited on portable devices.

  Sorry to break it to you, but Thunderbird does not work on Android.

  Android tablets have a Gmail client built in and an another e-mail client called "Email". You might have to do with or for the two of them.

  I have not yet found a mail Android app that works like Thunderbird. For example, the ability to drag and drop a message from one account to the other just seems not to be there.
