Scam.

I just had a quick glance at a Web site that is bound by the search engines for this phone number. They have a "special offer" support of ten years for £432. Cheaper to buy a new computer.

  • I am running Windows 7 Professional. Unable to connect, do not accept the password. Locked out! How to get back IN?

The last time that I turned my computer off all seemed well.  When I turned it on, once again, I was unable to connect using the same password that I have been using since the user account has been created.  I can't sign with my accout used regularly (with administrative privileges) or my administrator account.  Whenever I try a message appears on the upper left side next to a small red circle with an "X" in the middle that says "Windows Security" white. And right below says "HRESULT 0 x 80074003.»  Why can I not sign? Why won't my password?  Please tell me that there is a solution. I have a lot of important things on my computer that I can't afford to lose.  When I tried to back up my system on an external hard drive, it would not even show up either of the two hard disks on the computer and apparently does not recognize external hard drive 500 GB.  He has always tried to save everything on the internal 'C' drive. Since there is not enough space to back up my system, I get a message saying that there is not enough room and choose a different disk and try again.  I need HELP BAD!

I have a lot of important things on my computer that I can't afford to lose. I need HELP BAD!

There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows to a point when your computer worked well.
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
    • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
On the documents, you cannot afford to lose: there are three groups of people.
    • The largest group: those who do not back up their important files or save them only once in a blue moon.
    • A small group: those who now save their files frequently because they have suffered a major disaster.
    • The smallest group: those who back up their files regularly because they prefer not to wait for the disaster to happen.
There is a gradual migration from the first to the second group. The transition can be extremely painful. You can probably save your files this time but next time you may lose the lot unless go out you in the first group.
  • I type in the product key exactly as it is on the sticker, but windows is * still * telling me the number is not valid. Help?

I have an edition win7 Home premium. I had a few problems of massive virus, so a friend offered to clean my laptop and re - install windows, but because I don't have a CD player, he did it by way of downloading a copy digital Microsoft installation, for purposes of repair and then put in the product key number. earlier today, I started getting messages that my copy of windows is not genuine, so I checked the number in the system. It was different from my style, so I thought I would just change that indicates the sticker, as they say, right? apparently not! the 5 last digits are difficult to distinguish, but not impossible. of possibilities, most of the options have not yet entered valid, so based on what I see and what I am allowed to enter, there must be this specific set of 5 numbers/letters. However, no matter how many times I have it checked through, he continues to tell me that my copy of windows is not genuine. I normally wouldn't care, but its boring freaking as * how many times it appears telling me its not genuine and I need to fix it. and now he tells me that I have to spend $ 109 to buy a new #? What is the problem with that came with my laptop? I can't afford another $ 5 handling and costs at the present time, much less $ 110 to buy a new key 25-digit freaking. I did not write the number before the re-setup that I trusted my friend what it was done... my mistake, but I am desperate difficulty. is there a way that someone can help me?

The ratio is normal - for where the system was reinstalled using retail media and the key found by a Keyfinder, rather than the COA sticker on the case.

You must change to one on the sticker - notes the following...

0xC004F050 usually means that you have misinterpreted a character - C/G/6 or B/8 or Y/V are the most common.

    Please note that the following characters cannot be used - A E I L N O S U Z 1 0 - so don't bother trying unless you like noise it does :)

    an O/0 is almost always a Q

  • Help Center for Windows Vista 2.00 pm 7kth12ww.exe does not install properly help!

I tried to install 7kth12ww.exe on a new copy of Vista x 64. I selected all the default options, and installation wrote that it was completed. But when I run the application 'Help Center for Windows Vista', I see, > This. Now, it has been long enough that I think others see it too well, but I seem to be the only one with the problem. Ideas on what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

I found a solution that works for me, I think it's only a driver error. It is reproducible, and the solution is to create the correct folder structure. PM me if you need more information.

  • I installed Firefox 2 days ago (Windows Vista) and my Fax / HP 6700 does not accept faxes now, how can I fix this problem?

my Fax will not receive a fax.
Is there some kind of firewall or something to prevent this?
or a panel of control somewhere where I choose this option?
I re set as the fax machine and that didn't help.
None of your tutorials helped either. I couldn't find that anything related.
I'm a small business and need my fax machine.

Contact HP to set up your fax machine, like edmister said.

Browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) have no interaction with your fax, fax are analog technology race on telephone lines, browsers are the digital technology, which even if it can be run on a phone line (as in DSL) has no impact on your fax.

  • Reinstall Windows 7 does not accept the product key

Just bought a new PC to replace my crashed. Install Windows 7 from the DVD I got for my old PC. It does not accept the product key. Think it's because it was a copy of Windows 7 upgrade. What can I do about this that I can't downgrade to Windows XP. I have the original and the product key for Windows XP disks.

Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click the link x days before activation.

Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

Select the Activation of the phone

Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

Click Next, call the number listed

Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent

They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it

Click next to complete the activation.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • Cannot install Silverlight (KB2690729) on my Windows XP machine. Suggestions?

As in the title of the post, cannot install the update of Silverlight on my windows machine.  Any suggestions?

    Hi takajo,.

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

Method 4: Follow the steps in the article.

Yes, it is a complete and utter scam.  Assuming that you don't give them access to your computer, you're probably pretty course.  They are the so-called "canvassing" - selection of lists of random phone numbers and try to sell services and/or access to your computer.  You did the right thing, hang up on them.

  • Windows 7 not genuine after cancellation of technical preview Windows 10.

Hi after installation of the technical preview windows 10 downloaded from the official site, I decided to use the rollback option to get my windows 10 ultimate 64-bit.

After doing this without error as I get to my office, as it is said in the lower right of windows 7 build 7600 this copy of windows is not genuine it wasn't there until I installed windows 10. I ran the real application of validation he said that it was not authentic I typed in the key at the bottom of my laptop its OEM is not supposed to work I know but I tried anyway did not (big surprise! I know) so what can I do? No way I pay £299 for a new key. I bought this laptop on TradeMe from a business, that it's a HP elitebook barely used 8530p.
