  I have an Aspire S5 with a 128 GB SSD. The SSD is seen in the laptop as two 64 GB drives and is configured as RAID0 as default. At one point the RAID has not and I tried factory reset, but the laptop would not get into the recovery mode (by pressing ALT + F10 and all variants of ALT/CTRL/F keys) then I reinstalled manually with a USB key.

  In the BIOS, both drives are considered to be of 64 GB, but Windows only a drive on which I have installed is considered 64 GB, it is still considered the RAID drive (128 GB). It is not usable because I need to format it first, but I dare not do this. I see that the recoverypartition is still on it, but since in RAID0 RAID0, I'm assuming that all data on this partition Ghost is not usable in some way.

  When starting the laptop I get the fast Intel Rapid Storage Technology technology (press CTRL + I), and it is said that the RAID has failed, listing the two disks (partitions), one of them as a member and the other (the one I reinstalled Windows on) not as a member. So I deleted this configuration and recreate and reinstall Windows again. But when I deleted the configuration I can access any more to technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology, the guest never happen! It just directly boots into Windows. By pressing CTRL + I on startup does not, probably because the FIRST is not loading...

  I'm going to assume that the recoverypartition disappeared forever, since I have already reinstalled on one of the partitions, but I'd like to at least get a RAID running again.

  TL; DR - technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology itself uninstalled from the Board of Directors, how can I enable it again?

  If you are not using windows 7, I strongly suggest you to re - install under UEFI.

  In order to use technology Intel® My WiFi (Intel® MWT), your system must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A compatible Intel wireless card. Click the link for the list of supported cards: http://intel.ly/1334Gt8
  • Microsoft Windows Vista * or Windows 7 * 32 - bit or 64-bit
  • Software Intel® PROSet/Wireless v12.4.x.x or higher.

  However, it seems that your system has a Dell 1501 wireless card, which is not compatible with Intel® MWT. You may need to purchase and install a compatible wireless card to use the Intel® MWT. The following wireless cards have been tried and tested by dell and are compatible with Intel® MWT:

  • Intel® WiFi Link 6200 802.11agn 2 x 2 Half Mini Card
  • Intel® WiFi Link 6250 802.11agn / WiMax 2 x 2 Half Mini Card

  Welcome to the HP Forums assistance. I completely understand your problem and your reluctance to go into the BIOS.  If you don't feel able to do then by all means to stay outside.  Please provide information on your system as well.  Now, there's only one way to deal with this and it does not need to go into BIOS.  Here is a link that you can walk through the steps needed.

  After years without problems, I can't access MSE. On startup, I get a dialog box saying "' an error has occurred in the program during initialization. If this problem continues, contact your system administrator. Error code 0 x 80070715. If I try to go to MSE to day from the bar of tasks or programs, I get the same message. If I try Microsoft Update, it shows a critical update to MSE is 2804527 KB (4.2.223.1) that will download but not intall. The message indicates the update has not been installed even if it apparently downloaded. I tried restoring the system without result. I googled the error code and I tried a few suggested corrections but found nothing to solve the problem. Help, please.

  EDIT: I recommend to download the installer first, then disconnect from the internet, then proceed to uninstall and re - install and just reconnect to the internet when installing arrives at the point of wanting to update.

  If you look at site driver from Intel, it is no all W8 drivers for the graphics card in your laptop, so I don't know even how HP can have one.

  My advice if does not work driver W8 would install the W7 of Intel driver - manually if auto installation does not work.
