When I installed Windows XP from the supplied DVD for Toshiba, it says Intel 82567V Gigabit network adapter. I tried to download the drivers for this adatpor of drivers Toshiba, Intel Web site, but it will not install in Windows Server 2003. I also tried manually force to choose and install a driver from the list, I choose that it will install but shows yellow question mark in Device Manager means that it does not work with this driver.

  I also tried the same Intel 82567V drivers from some sites non-Toshiba, of these models using the same network card, but is not truck drivers at all.

  I understand these laptop computers does not support Windows Server 2003, but these were ordered to be used as servers with Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and I am required to make the Installer only with activated and installed network adapter.

  I try last week and exhausted all means to get the installed network adapter driver, but all have failed. Can someone please help with this? All support will be highly appreciated.

  If I m not wrong Windows Server 2003 uses the same drivers as Win XP and I guess that it s driver problem not a LAN, but perhaps also the problem of Windows Server 2003 installed.

  You are right; the LAN chip seems to be Intel 82567V and the LAN driver downloaded from Intel page should work 100%.

  In your case, I would recommend installing the chipset driver.
  Remove the LAN card from Device Manager, then restart the laptop.
  Then go back to Device Manager and update driver in pointing devices Manager to the place where the driver downloaded LAN was stored on the HARD drive.

  I just got a new Tecra A8 - it is downgraded to XP, and none of the Toshiba Utilities work (energy saving function keeys, keyboard shortcuts, etc.).   I visited the Toshiba driver page and it seems that Toshiba provide XP drivers for two different units A8 PTA83Eand PTA82E.

  You should be 100% sure that you are using the correct drivers!

  * DVB - T Tuner Driver *.
  The EXE file extracted in the temp folder and goes no further.
  The device driver shows "STK7700D" with an exclamation mark against it. See the image below.

  * Bluetooth Driver *.

  Try to extract the exe from another place, not in the temp folder.
  In my case, I created a folder on a second partition (D) and have extracted the exe file in this folder. Can go to the Device Manager, and then can install the driver through the Device Manager.
  Choose the installation procedure advantage and point to the folder that contains the extracted files.

  With regard to the issue of the BT;

  I bought Toshiba Satellite U500 laptop 8 months past that came with Home premium. now I'm planing to upgrade of the company since I use it for my office goal and they got the key to even.

  from the windows forum I see that there is no plan to upgrade to windows 7 business and I'll have to do a clean install for this. I'm ready for a clean install, but how can I get all the Toshiba Utilities like face detection, and echo utility, creator of recovery media etc. (all the Toshiba utility that came with the laptop).

  I am sure that there should be a way to do this and I would appreciate it really no solution for the same.

  Of course, some tools such as Toshiba recovery media creator is not ready for download. You n t need this tool for your own installation. This tool is designed to recover original DVD creation.
  If you want to make own configuration and installation of the OS it has nothing to do with the creation of recovery DVDs.
