Hi all

My Tecra A3 generates a noise on line out / headphone for charging the battery.
When it is unplugged, the noise goes off.

Is this normal?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

If you remove the battery and just use AC power is it the same situation? If you make more loud music is that noise more annoying loud too?

  • Portege M600 - noise - No. audio output device

I have a little problem with my Toshiba M600 too, it was fine until now, sometimes available noise, sometimes "no audio output device. Initially, I thought it was a driver problem that I cannot solve the earlier. So I thought to go ahead with the installation of Windows 7 to replace Windows Vista, I erase any of the recovery partition just a main. After that's done, the audio problem persist.

I tried all of this, using windows generic drivers, Toshiba drivers for Windows 7 and Vista. Latest audio driver of the brand audio, the most recent to the old. Formatted several times, all done. Even made a full recovery of the system to the original with the recovery disk configuration, some time, sound works and sometimes does not.

I can conclude that it's a hardware problem and not the driver.

    Just my 2 cents.

Strange. Very strange, I think it could be a hardware problem I m thinking about question motherboard because the sound chip is part of the mobo.
If the problem persists even using the Toshiba Recovery then drive a hardware problem is more possible as only a software problem
In addition, it is difficult to say which could be bad, since this question is not always, but sometimes only, which means that it would be difficult to reproduce this problem

and that's why I think that this could be a mobo problem

I have a new A60 (although three or four weeks) I work in the industry of music and must deal with music on the laptop. Everything has been fine until trying to empty to an analog audio output device. Digital noise is incredibly strong! Its there all the time but just touch the double mouse pad the amount of noise.

With a headphones only sound, but not too visible through a preamp, well well its just unusable.

Is anyway around this or should I empty the A60 and buy a ThinkPad?

  • "No Audio output device is installed" on Portege M600

    Hi all

I had this problem. Today in the afternoon, I was working with my M600 while listening to music. Suddenly, there's like a voice of vibrations... as "zzzz" voice. I was surprissed and decided to cut my music player (I use winamp) and continued complete my work. But, whenever I did by clicking on, this noise appeared with 'click' sound. So, I decided to turn off the PC.

But now, I surprised because when I turn on my PC, there is "No Audio output device is installed" msg with the sign of the Red Cross on my speakers. I do not anything for the sound before. I have not installed anything. I have day my anti-virus, but that's all.
This is not the first time happened. I had - a little - this problems twice but it was because I had windows update and I solved it by restoring the system.

I did system restore, but it still won't work. I really need a help, since sound is so important to me!

Have idea what had happened and how to handle this?

    Thank you in advance.

    Putri

Have you tried to install a new sound card driver?
You can find this driver on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com

Of course, it could also be a hardware problem with your motherboard and/or the sound chip but try first to update the driver.

The sounds you describe could also be a HARD drive problem.
Look in the event viewer for errors.

  • Digital noise in the output

I hooked up a new computer. Started having digital noise of the output with Logic 9. Never had this problem. I've checked all my sample rate to match. I thought it would be in my Motu hardware, but when I turned the motu offshore and just ran through the output built in logic he was always there. I ran audio from iTunes and the internet in general and the noise is not there. Fair and logical. Biggest problem is he spent on the computer I was using, where nothing was ever a problem. No sound on both. Oh my god! Help!

    Guy

Monitor your levels.  Make sure that nothing is in the Red of the level meters.

Also, check your volume settings (output) on your computer and LPX.

  • Updates Windows leads to "no Audio output device is installed".

    Hi all
Last night updates Windows automatically updated my laptop - I have Vista Home Premium.  If the updates downloaded, but this morning, when I restarted my laptop and installed updates, I had no noise! When I put my mouse on its little icon on my desktop, it says I have "No Audio output device installed".
I don't know what happened or how to fix it - can anyone help.  And I can not just use the system restore, because it has been disabled, so it is not all to return to restore points.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Joseph,.

  • How to install an audio output device

The sound was coming out the speakers tour earlier today. When I tried to plug in a pair of high office speakers, I couldn't not all sounds on their part at all. Speakers were plugged into a power outlet and worked, the green light was on which indicates the power on the speaker system. The volume is high enough. Now I can not all sounds at the laptop and there is a little x with a red circle around him next to the volume icon that displays a message "no audio output device is installed". The sound worked very well until after that I tried to plug in the top of the office speaker system, now there is no noise at all and there is no apparent way to reconnect an audio output device.

The 1st thing I would do is currently that it was just a few hours later is to try the system restore function in the accessories, the system folder. I hope you have a restore point before your speakers stopped working.

Then check the "Control Panel", Classic view, System Manager. Under the terms of sound, video, etc. your audio device display? or is it a brand exclaimation beside him. You can double-click the device driver and roll back the driver to the previous version, which should be the one that worked. If she says that there is no earlier version, then you will need to re - install the driver.

If that does not restore your audio files, check if the windows update has detected that you do not have your audio drivers.

If Windows update does not display the new drivers available. Then, go to your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the sound card and download the latest drivers and install them.

  • DMP 4310 G is no audio output

    Hello experts,

I am totally new to this community of support, so my apologies if this isn't the right place/tag for that matter.

We have a number of G 4310 ASD and as our DMM is not yet operational, I decided to explore a bit players as stand-alone devices, access them via Web browser.

The issue I'm facing is that no audio doesn't the DMP when I play videos, with the exception of MPEG, which works very well.

I tried WMV, AVI and SWF, but sound is not emitted for any of them.

My firmware version is 5.2.3, and I tried to view the audio via HDMI to a professional Samsung screen, as well as via a speaker 3.5 mm audio output.

Make sure the audio format has been supported, I loaded an MP3 file to the Flash of the DMP and he played. Everything worked well. Subsequently, I have included the same audio file in a flash (Flash Lite 3.1, Actionscript 2.0) project. Many worked on my PC, but on the drive, no noise at all, only the graphics.

PS: I already checked the audio settings. They seem to be correct (50 on each channel), so I'm out of ideas on what else to check/try.

Please, any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Ricardo

I'm trying to track down a solid answer for you, Ricardo. Please stay tuned.

  • Audio driver problem, I get error "no audio output device is installed".

My laptop made a weird noise, after that my laptop suddenly is not all sounds more. When I check the audio it says "no audio output device is installed". I been looking for this difficulty in the last days and found no problems. I tried to reinstall my audio driver (Realtek), but then an error occurred. It says 'extended attributes are incompatible. Help, please!

    Farel salvation,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you no longer have sound in Windows 8 and you also tried to re - install the audio driver. I appreciate the efforts made in the patches that you have already tried. Let me ask you;

    • What is the brand and model of the computer?

There could be several reasons for this cause and diagnose the problem, we will try the following methods and check.

Method 1: Run the audio Troubleshooter

A convenience store is an automated tool that can find and automatically fix problems with your PC. Audio troubleshooting can diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and playback of sounds common.

Method 2: Look for important and recommended updates by using Windows Update

    1. Drag from the right edge of the screen, tap settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you use a mouse, point to the lower right of the screen, move the mouse to the top, click settingsand then click change PC settings).
    2. Press or click update and recoveryand press or click on Windows Update.

    3. Press or click check now.

    4. If there are updates available, press or click on the link and then press or click on install.

Windows Update will tell you if the updates have been installed correctly.

To check the optional updates by using Windows Update:

    1. Drag from the right edge of the screen, tap settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you use a mouse, point to the lower right of the screen, move the mouse to the top, click settingsand then click change PC settings).

    2. Press or click update and recovery , and then press or click on Windows Update.

    3. Press or click see detailsand press or click find updates. (If you can't see the details, it are not updated optional available.)

    4. Under option, tap or click the update you want to install, and then click install.

Read and accept the terms of the license and then press or click on Finish if the update requires it. You may be prompted for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.

Method 3: Install the software from the manufacturer of the device. If your device is equipped with a disk, this disk can contain software that installs a driver for the device.

    Method 4:

1 right-click the volume in the taskbar icon, and select sounds
    2. scroll down about 3/4 on the events program: the list and select the option that says Windows user account control
    3. change the sounds: option ( no), and then click OK

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • How to change the audio output for the metronome

    Hello

I would like to send the metronome (and speech signals) for monitors to the scene in the ear.

I understand that I can do this in MainStage using different output for the above titles vs. the rest of the 'Concert '.

I tried to follow the instructions of the Manual:

Change the audio output for the sound of the metronome

    1. Choose the MainStage > Preferences > General.
    2. In the section of metronome on the general tab, choose another audio output on the shortcut menu to exit.

    PROBLEM

    1. on the general tab, only the outputs 1-2 are available/selectable (likely, these are also by default for all "Concert")

    2. Why is this process in the manual if it is not executable (without doing something to another additional Set up)?

    3. it's probably among the requirements of setting up more critical even easier for using MainStage with a live band, so why am I having to ask for help at all!

Rant on (its been a long day)

Grateful for any help to solve cela. I guess I can send the metronome (such as a click track) and speech signals on the same outputs, which are separated from the rest of the Concert... or should I change the outputs on the other tracks and keep the outputs 1-2 for the metronome marks / voice?

Thanks in advance for all advice and my apologies for my frustration. JM

To access the output audio, you need an audio interface with several outputs.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L500-01u012 and I have problems with the audio output.
When I plug a headphone or audio output in the audio output port, it does not neutralize the internal Laptop speakers.
It's really annoying me and I wonder if there is a way around this?

I have windows 7 Home premium 64-bit sp1 with all the latest patches to update, and I tried to remove, restart and then reinstalling the driver several times without success
I also got the image of the plant cell to try to fix that and its still nto work.

I downloaded the drivers from the toshiba support site, but they did not help

    Hello

Is this something new or you have noticed this problem in the past too?
Generally by default the internal speakers should be turned off when you connect earphones.

I put t know what laptop do you have exactly (model number you wrote may not be the right) and what sound card is inside, but please check the audio options in the Panel.
