  first of all, it's an absolute joke which is on the pages of pilot currently offered by HP. For my 4740 s, I can find two (2) different drivers for Win8.1/64.

  

  There was another official page to get your drivers which does not seem to exist anymore.

  Maybe, HP Softpaq Download Manager is the solution for you. HP Softpaq Download Manager
  It is not a very pleasant to use tool but you finish by will find the drivers you're looking for.

  I think that this BIOS (v2.0) is not released for Windows 7 and that it has also not been tested with Windows 7. This BIOS has published 21.01.2009 and Windows 7 was released on July 22, 2009. However, on the other hand it s not mentioned that this BIOS is not compatible with Win 7.

  Windows 7 drivers are not out on Sat A110, but this does not mean that you couldn't install Win 7 on this device. Of course, you can install the Win 7 system, but Toshiba does not provide any Win 7 software for this series.

  Back to BIOS update:
  In your case I would try not to update the BIOS if the laptop works properly.

  Turn on "Compatibility view" for microsoft.com allowed the download button to appear and I was able to get the file. Looks like a clear indication that this site is updated you need to demote your browsing session to get even to function.

  The Windows Installer log will have a name similar to the following file:

  msib3a6g.log

   

  To open this directory, click StartCollapse this includes this image, type folder in the Search box and press ENTER.

  If Windows is installed on another drive, adjust the drive letter for the record to match the installation drive.

  For more information about that log file, see the article given in my previous post.

  Also mention the operating system on which you are faced with this problem.

• Could not get the updates of Windows for Windows 7

  I'm running Windows 7, Home Premium edition, 64-bit and using IE 11.  Windows Update stop working, so after trying all the fixes recommended, I reinstalled Windows 7 thinking that would solve the problem.  Once more, Windows Update just works for 8 hours and still running.  I also tried to update to Windows Defender and it was still running 8 hours later.

  I looked in the registry editor and Windows Update keys aren't there.

  Please help, or I can go crazy.
