• TECRA M1 with HARD drive problem

  I have a Tecra M1, 1.6 GHz, MS Windows Xp sp2 German version. My computer has a problem.

  Whenever I restart the computer, it started very slowly. I logged on and there were Windows to notice that my system has problems.

  I ran several application software and a full blue screen came out with some opinions, such as

  If there is no way to repair OS the best way is to reinstall the OS using Recovery DVD. On this way, everything will be like at the beginning. All drivers and tools will be installed properly and that this problem will be solved.

  If this problem happens again maybe some malfunction of the equipment.

  The audio driver is simply not compatible with Win XP SP2

  Yamaha AC - XG driver used the PortCls function to check the version of the operating system. XP Service Pack 1, PortCls function is changed, while the Yamaha rider cannot get operatingsystem version correctly. This problem also happens to Windows XP SP2.

  I did some research to solve this problem and I tried to remove the battery, remove the ram to reset the motherboard and put it back but nothing works.

  I don't get the thing of ethernet. The ethernet (10EC & DEV_8136) device is present, so that the driver should install.

  You have the PC connected to the AC adapter and an ethernet cable plugged into the network port?

  If this is not the case, try to install the driver like that.

  The other drivers you need are the following: install this first and then try to install the Realtek ethernet card.

  The chipset driver install drivers of motherboard (for example the smbus controller). Perhaps because the controller driver SMBus is not installed the ethernet driver cannot be installed.

  A rule is always install the driver from the chipset first.  Graphic, and then audio and reboot after each installation of single driver of the 3 above.

  My laptop HP 15-g009AX have a pblm with its wifi. I installed the wireless driver from the HP Web site button, but it has not yet detected my WiFi.

  A mate of mine got a Toshiba Tecra A5 and background they screwed with one of the many MSN virus - in any case, they decided to re - install windows, fine, but then downloaded the wrong driver for the network card and screwed the Mediaboot of the laptop.

  I can t believe that you can not install the LAN driver. You need to download the driver from this page of Toshiba:

  Then extract the files in the folder. Enter in the Device Manager, then choose the network card. Right click and install/update the driver. The source of the driver is the place where you extracted the files.

  I don't have this model of laptop, but as far as I know, these buttons can be defined by the user. So try please start button configuration tool and check if the option is where you define which application should be open to each button.
