  Hi, I'm having a problem with my laptop. I bought my laptop online, a year ago, and I got a virus. Then, I had my computer reset and I need a code for Windows Vista from the bottom of my laptop.   The code is located on a label and is a 25-digit alpha-numeric (and very hard to read) code separated into 5 groups of 5 numbers separated by dashes.  If you can't find it on the bottom of your laptop, open the battery housing and remove the battery and look there - I know of cases where this is where it was placed.

  If you can't find the product key, your only choice is to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help.  Sometimes the relocations made with recovery disks don't need to be activated (depends on the manufacturer and their recovery process must ask them and confirm before you spend money on the recovery discs).  A valid product key is required for activation if activation is required - there is no way around this problem.  And in case you are considering on it, you can't switch from one product not enabled - you need to do a clean and complete installation (update disc will not work).

  Just install my new M3 and Advanced Port Replicator III. Everything works fine, but the Port Replicator is not recognized as a Docking Station (No disconnect in menu button start XP; pressing disconnect button on the Port Replicator itself has no effect either).

  As far as I know that the TOSHIBA Mobile Extension3 for Windows XP is responsible for the good condition of the market of the docking station.
  Well, I recommend to reinstall this driver and utility.
  Perhaps the installation of the new driver will solve this problem.

  Hello

  As the bed of the subject line, I will put up a new Tecra M10 with the Express Port Replicator and monitor LCD Toshiba Tekbright 20 ".

  The system works on Windows XP, and the ordinary VGA connection on the port replicator works fine when connected to the external LCD.

  However, there seems to be no way to get the DVI interface on port replicator, working on the LCD.

  I tried to run this utility, and it does not detect the DVI monitor at all.

  Your Tecra M10 has DVI port?
  Replicator port is not some sort of converter and it will be just a loop through the signal directly from the laptop.
  If the computer laptop doesn t supports DVI output you cannot expect to get signal from the port replicator.

  Hi, I wonder if someone can help me. I have a 730CDT I know it is very old, but it has an IR port, and I thought that I would be able to get on the internet by connecting to my phone via infrared and using the phone as a modem, I know the internal modem cannot be used with mobile phones. The questions are: how to activate the IR port? I looked in the electronic manual under IR port, but all that appears is "diagnostic" and if I can activate the IR port successfully, so should I disable the internal modem before you connect the mobile phone?   In my opinion the infrared data transfer speed is too slow, if you want to use the mobile phone as a modem. The problem is that connection can break down very often. Wireless or Bluetooth connection is much better.

  Yes. Delete the PUP.

  You don't mention which program you used, but these are two very good freeware ones.

  Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Community!

  First place to check would be the place that the program saves by default. You can test it by importing a video (maybe a few seconds of blank film), then click on the registration option. That first record appears in the Save dialog box is where the program normally / last saved a file. Each program is different, but generally unless the project is recorded information is stored in a .tmp (temporary) format and then cleaned when the program stops. You can clean any .tmp among other files using Disk Cleanup:

  ·         Click on all programs

  ·         Click on Accessories

  ·         Click Disk Cleanup

  ·         Check the boxes for the files you want to clean

  ·         Click OK

  I have a Toshiba Tecra A9 laptop and a Toshiba express port replicator, the Replicator has two outputs DVI & VGA, but I just can't seam to allow them both to use my funds rather than 1 desktop computer screens and the screen of the laptop.

  As far as I know that something like this is not possible. The video signal may not be spited and sent to two video output ports. If you want to use two external monitors, you need an additional video source as Toshiba Dynadock or another solution.

  Hi guys,.

  I'm having some problems with my new Tecra M9! After that laboriously installed all the drivers and ending up with a nice clean install, I am now subject to constant headaches!

  I run a Setup dual monitor with my main monitor being a LG 19 "and the second screen being my Tosh laptop screen. When I move anything or anything open my main screen flickers like mad! I swapped the primary monitor with another screen (make and model), and it still happens! If I connect the main monitor in the laptop VGA port and run the same setting of the screen, its fine, but the second I put it through the docker it still sparkles! I also checked running a single screen (an external monitor) it still happens!

  I've updated all my drivers to the latest version without any doubt the GFX and BIOS.

  I can't be the only person having this problem, I have at least 3 of Tecra M9 who have the same problem and I can't buy laptops additional I need till remedy! Help!

  As I know your laptop comes with the own operating system preinstalled. Why you do this again? And what operating system you are using?

  I use WMP 11 for months with no reading problems but since yesterday evening he continues to stop for about 20 seconds every five minutes or so.   I had a problem with Net Framework and ran a deleted program recommended to Skydrive, that worked. I then re-installed Net Framework but I am unable to update as it is stated on the Windows site: www.update.microsoft.com. The site identifies the necessary updates and installs.

  Download and install the .net updates manually. Use of the KB number listed for each update and then perform a search using google for download. Example: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=1241
