Tecra A8: audio stutters during playback of CD/DVD on Win2K

We recently started having the laptop Tecra A8 and we run Win2K on them. Everything works well except during playback of CD audio or DVD. Audio stutters really bad (worse with DVD to CD).
I tried to remove the silent acoustics and re - install the audio drivers but same problem.
As a test, I put the WinXP preinstalled on one, and then there is no problem. May be driver related issue, but we do not have the best experiences using XP drivers on a Win2K machine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know on the Tecra A8 has been preloaded with a Realtek HD Audio driver.
I guess you also need the same kind of audio driver for W2k.
This unit uses a link high-definition audio, and I think you'll need driver that supports this chip.

See the Toshiba driver for W2k drivers page. In addition if you don t use the Toshiba Recovery CD you need to install all the drivers of Toshiba in the right order. Please see the installation instructions and follow this guideline.

As a result, the audio and video to DVD stutters.

I tried to install the DVD-RAM drivers, but the problem is still there.
The problem exists with every DVD I try to play, be it data, video, disc - ROM, -r or RW.

Try to Update the software of the player. If it persists, try to have the player reset to factory default settings. Is the issue only happening on a particular disc?

  • 8560w his stuttering during playback of music

    Hi all

I have the EliteBook 8560w for about a month now and noticed his stuttering when you open a new tab in IE/Chrome/Firefox.

Since it is a configuration quad-core with 8 GB of RAM, this seems quite strange.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Configuration information:

    P/N: XX058AV

    CPU: i7 2630QM

    RAM: 8 GB (2 x 4 GB, Slot 1 and 4)

    VGA: ATI over-pants M5950

    HARD DRIVE: WD3200BEKT (320 GB)

Resolved last night; uninstalled ALL preinstalled software HP, but also drivers for networking and graphics (ATI card also has an Audio HDMI output).

I let Windows install its complement of driver network, but replaced the ATI driver with the 8.911.3.1 version available here (http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/fire/Pages/fire_hp_win7.aspx).

I have troubleshooted the question using the "DPC latency Checker" available here: http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml.

Read the entire web site, because it offers ideas on how bad drivers can influence the audio and video playback.

    Hope this helps someone.

  • No audio voice during playback video, only background audio

    seven media center units

I have sound when I play a video but I have no voice actors during playback on media center or any other program such as cyberlink dvd 8 and I have tried everything I can to solve this problem but no joy!

I just had a very similar problem, the background sound OK, (such as the sounds of the music OK) but no sound from the voice of the people as they spoke.  Sometimes the voices are very distorted and at a level very low.  In the same situation commercial ads read completely OK.  Sometimes audio information and voice played OK.

In distress, clearing process, I have not noticed finally no audio center channel or reflex audio of my speakers, pregnant left base and right OK

Fix - I found the 'matrix' press the option button on my 5.1 audio speaker system.  Released 'Matrix' button, audio works OK now.

Hope that helps someone, I appreciate of course all the time other people have taken to share corrections.

  • Audio dropout during playback timeline

    Hey everybody,

I dug through these forums and unless I completely forgot I have not found a solution to this problem. I have listed my configuration below and then have stated the issue I am experiencing.

    mid-2011 iMac 27-inch

    Intel Core i7 3.4 GHz

    16GB 1333 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon HD 6970 1024 MB

    Running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G 63)

    Is currently working on a portable 1 TB G-Technology G-DRIVE via FW800.

Work in Premiere Pro CS6 Version 6.0.2

    Editing a sequence with settings:

1920 x 1080 23.976fps (also tried in a timeline of 29.97 FPS with the same question)

Working with images that are 23.98 FPS

Working with a combination of ProRes 422 (LT) and native H.264 Quicktime files detroit to a 5 d Mark 3.

The issue I'm having, during playback, the audio is competely desexcite. The video will continue to play on fine but audio quit completely. All audio levels down as well in the audio mixer panel meters so it's really lost all communication with my audio layers in the timeline panel.

I read in other forums to enter the Finder and delete the .caf, re open Premiere Pro, wait for them to be recreated and then continue. I tried this approach with no luck. Removing the .caf doesn't change anything. Audio is always stall as I try to play through my calendar. The only way to recover the audio is to pause then press play again. I have 5 total audio channels with only 2 of these active channel.

Any ideas on what's happening would be greatly appreciated. It's incredibly frustrating must export a video just to be able to look through.

I had the same problem when going from FCP to premiere the other month. Indeed, it was incredibly frustrating. In my case I solved keeping my projects and the cache on the system drive (Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/6.0 on a Mac). Did not have audio since dropouts. I guess maybe that's a similar problem to you that you are working on an external drive. Now try the media and assets on the external hard drive, but the project on the system drive in the default location of Adobe. Good luck!

    Hello

Just a question: do you have this problem just with avi files or even mpg or files if you watch movies with WinDVD DVD?

  • Monitor goes to sleep during playback of a dvd in wmc

I browse my residential wireless to my server in the Solution Explorer. I mount a disk image file video dvd (iso, I'm 1507 of them) in the remote location on a virtual drive.

I installed an external software 'The Maxifier'. I go to the icon and choose the start page, WMC opens on the second display (projector). This process prevents it being trapped on the second screen of my mouse. Select (with mouse) movies/dvd and everythings great.

Unfortunately displays to sleep while the movie is playing (prevents other dvd playback software it) Screensaver is set to 'none' If food options (when to turn off the monitor) is set to 10 minutes they will sleep in 10 min. If the value 2 hrs. they leave in 2 hours. I can move the mouse or press a keyboard, and they wake up back. Everything works normally except the software MCE preventing sleep monitor during playback. cannot find any setting to solve this problem.

The problem is the remote computer is in my room, Planner normally wakes up the computer in the middle of the night, doing what he has to do, then fall back to sleep. (must be the internal code that the interview wakes the computer no display signal is sent unless there is user imput - oh well) Once the Scheduler wakes the computer it's not going to go back to sleep until the time of power options is obtained without user imput. (another pain in the neck) The sleep time can be lower timer monitor. If I set the monitor to 3 hours (longer than the movie), while I don't have the move disrupton, then when the movie ended I have to remember to put in a shorter time, or what I've done is completely close the box every night and leave the timer at 3 hours.

    Simplify the problems

1 MCE does not monitor to fall asleep during DVD playback.

2 when the Scheduler wakes the computer from sleep mode and finishes his tasks he does not put the rear computer to sleep.

Remember that the monitor and the computer will go to sleep under the power options are set to, not a pilot or external software issue preventing sleep.

  • Tecra 8100: stutters during playback of music

    Hello

After installing Win2k on my Tecra 8100 each works fine but playback of music.
When play is a stutter, a clickening every 2 seconds.
It is a general problem, not a problem of the music program or file that I play (mp3).
It already starts with the beginning of Win2k jingle.

    Any ideas?

As far as I know that the device is supported for W2K Professional and if you have used all the drivers designed Toshiba it should not be a problem (if the hardware is not faulty). Please check with a helmet. It will be interesting to see if the problem persists.

Have you had it with previous operating system? Do you have it tested with a helmet too? Can you please post more than a few sentences? You already did some troubleshooting and what exactly?

  • Unable to hear the correct audio sound during playback of media

Original title: Volume of the sound of my laptop gets strange

My laptop sound weird during media playback. It sounds like something, for example to call someone on Skype, that happens so the volume is changed to adapt it, but I'm not turning them on. Almost all the video and audio will be faced with the problem of volume, sometimes it becomes normal after a while sometimes it does ' t. I turned the communications under off sound setting option, but the problem is still there. Please help me solve this problem, thank you!

    Hi Songqi Liu,

This could be a hardware problem. However, I would check the issue by connecting to an external speaker to your laptop. Check if you are faced with the same question.

  • Audio skips during playback

    reading

each track has a boring jerks a few seconds from the end, it does not work hoever tranfer on disk when reading burnt.only.

    Hi Mondobee,

    • You have a third-party codec pack installed on the computer?

If you have any third-party codec pack installed on the computer, you can try to temporarily disable the codec pack or try to uninstall it and check if the movies and songs to jump into Windows Media Player. Later, reinstall or enable the codec pack after verification.

I also suggest you to disable improvements audio speaker and check if it helps you difficulty jump her.

To disable the audio improvements speaker, follow the steps below:

    A. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, hardware and sound, then clicking sound.

    B. on the playback tab, click speakers and then click Properties.

    C. click the enhancements tab, and then check Disable all improvements.

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the problem you are having, this indicates that your audio driver should be updated.

  • Sound of the buzzing/stutters during playback and music or video

I've had this laptop for a few weeks now, and since I was a strange humming noise every time I play music or watch a video.

It seems as if the music made a break of about one second and made a HUMMING noise while doing so, then continues with music. It happens throughout the song/video.

I've updated all the audio drivers a lot of times as well as the graphics drivers, I can't update the chipset drivers as there is no new still

The strange thing, I found comparing my laptop to a friend, is that in my DEVICE MANAGER there are 4 high definition Audio devices shown Realtek + Bluetooth hands-free. I tried unistalling these so alone is there, but this does not solve the problem.

    I have:

    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    Realtek High Definition Audio

    NVIDIA GeForce 310M

    Chipsets Intel 5

    Thanks in advance =)

  • Files from Nikon (CS5.5) stuttering during playback. Canon files were very good. Do I need a different sequence setting, upgrade of the computer?

I have been change in first CS 5.5 and have always enjoyed a generally transparent experience, but since the change of camera from Canon to Nikon systems, I can't play back more than 2 layers of Nikon without playback stutter. I could easily stack 3 or more layers of Canon without issue.all

I think I'm following best practices for my hardware, and as I said, I've accomplished in the past, but it seems that my machine does not meet the Nikon video anywhere near as well as he did with Canon. Everyone knows this?

    Here is my system info:

    I7 - 2600K
SSD 256 GB (OS, swap file)

1 TB WB black (projects, data)

1 TB WD Black (previews, export)

GTX 560 Ti 2 GB (on Mercury GPU)

Ideas or suggestions on things to do back to speed, or do I need an upgrade? It's just images of SLR, I feel that this system should be more than capable of 2 rivers.
