Tecra M2: What is the average of 1-2 CPU

Dear Sir

on my Tecra M2 purchased in December 2004, mobile pentium M 1.8 Ghz core data, we can find a sick of windows that says: xp professional 1-2 CPU: what do mean by 1-2 CPU'?

Can I upgrade the processor to a faster?
Thanks in advance

Hi DrWeekx,

The label "1-2 CPU" means that the Windows license is for a computer running with either 1 processor or separate the 2 processors on a single card (to not to be confused with a dual core processor, which is still classified as 1 CPU such that it is packed on a single chip).

This second option is not very common, but Microsoft has designed the license to look that way just to cover the possibility. This essentially means that you can only use the serial number of Windows to a computer.

What to change the processor, most laptops have their CPU welded directly on the main circuit, not in a medium such as a PC desktop to save space and weight. In theory, it could be removed and replaced, but in practice, it is so easy to damage the jury is generally neither recommended nor practical.

I hope that answers your question without being too complicated. ;)

  • What is the average of default setting in the subject area Permission screen in SPR

    Hello gurus,

We use OBIEE 11.1.1.7.150120. Trying to figure out how to play the permissions on the domain object.

What is the average of the 'default' setting?  It translates to 'Read-write' or 'Read' or 'access forbidden '?  or business being a top-level object, the parameter 'Default' basically inherits the permission set for the application role "AuthenticatedUser"?

    Thank you

    Rakesh

    Hello

Here is a copy/paste of the 'help' in the administration tool:

By default. The permission is inherited from the parent object. Areas, because they are a higher level object, default value is equivalent to the permission granted to the application role AuthenticatedUser.

If you ask for materials, 'default' in this case means same permission as an authenticated user.

  • Tecra A2 - what is the difference between the cooling modules Tecra A8?

    Hello

I have Tecra A2 and my fan is almost 'dead '. So I think to buy a new one.

    And here my question:
"What are the differences between Fans (P000401740) A2 and A8 (P000463770) for example?"

Because despite the construction of the "rotor" as well as details of construction of the case they seem to be exactly the same.
If I buy this A8, it would work with my laptop?

    Kind regards
    Christopher

    Hello

I m not very well what s the difference between these two modules of cooling but the fact is that the motherboards are just different and I doubt that a cooling module that was not designed specifically for the Tecra A2 series would correspond with A2 motherboard and case.

That's why I recommend buying a cooling module which has been designed especially for this series!
I think you can order the Toshiba ASP.

  • WAIT % - % IDLE, what is the average for a virtual machine?

I did some research on performance of VM problems and worked with the media to see that there is maybe a bottle neck IO that occur with a virtual VMware machine I have performance problems on. The technician found that the WAITING % - % IDLE on average for this virtual machine is around 200%. The tech said it was abnormally high. I forgot to ask her what was normal but wanted to put a post to see if some people out there know what they are on average. What is an average number of see? I have the system done nothing right now and I see 579% waiting and 372% IDLE. The technology has been able to confirm that no IO queue was occurring in the VMkernel or on the HBA controller.

Some average % positions would be useful. Thank you.

    gdewulf18480 wrote:

Supposibly the amount of time in a State of waiting for I/O is the WAIT - IDLE % difference. I was wondering if anyone had the numbers for this feeling. Is there anyone with some of them?

Q: How will I know the VCPU world waiting for I/O events?

A: WAIT - % IDLE % can give you an estimate on how much time processor is spent waiting for I/O events. It is an estimate only, because the world wait perhaps for other than the i/o resources. Note that we should do it only for the worlds of the WWW, not the other kind of worlds. Because the VMM worlds represent the best guest behavior. For the disk i/o, another alternative is to read the disk latency stats that we explain in the drive section.

WAIT % by itself cannot be used, you must develop and examine the individual vCPU % EXPECTATION values and subtract their idle time.  You can't do it on the initial view of a single line by VM CPU in esxtop.  If technology that you mentioned did not explain it, he doesn't know what it takes.

I have lots of virtual machines that are never less than 300% when I wait - % idle and I have no problems.

It is an example, I caught NimSoft server:

    DHSNMS1 100 100 5 192.63 193,80 0.24 0.03 291,44 1.04

%EST USED (s) 192 - in other words, almost two processors are used 100%

The %Idle is 1.04% WAIT 291.44 - according to the calculation of waiting idle, I have a super serious problems of e/s past  But this isn't the case, and expanding, I can see that.

    5665 vmware-vmx 100 1 0.09 0.11 100.00 0.00 0.00 0.01

    5667 100 vmassistant.566 1 0.62 0.65 99,63 0.00 0.00 0.00

    5703 100 mks:DHSNMS1 1 0.01 0.01-100.00 0.00 0.00 0.00

    5704 vcpu 100 - 0:DHSNMS1 1 32,35 32.88 67,28 0.28 0.11 67,14

    5705 vcpu 100 - 1:DHSNMS1 1 31,58 32.05 68.11 0.00 67.85 0.12

So the changed values unfortunately because of ESXTOP bike when you develop... which is annoying, but anyway.  In this you see % waiting is 67 and 68 with another respectively being 3 to 100% (which is normal) and the idle being %, 0, 0, 0, 67 and 67.8.  Doing the calculation on the processors shows a wait - slowed virtually 0 - or very little IO wait past with processors.  But if you add up all the expectations of % and % is idling, you have 434ish, and the 134ish and do the calculation is the difference of 300 - which is the 3 who are always 100%.

So there is no way we can answer your question, we can only help you to understand how the values should be interpreted.

Waiting for i/o States almost always go on the disc anyway, it is unlikely, therefore, the network or the user entered, looking at the stats of disc ESXTOP is a much better way to determine if there is a problem of e/s.

  • What is the average of 62:10 error code? I have a HDR-CX260v

I just bought a camcorder HDRCX 260v, charge the battery, it works and see a flashing code E62:10. What does the code? Is this a serious question? I would return my new camera? Lee S.

    Hi the dregs,

The E:62:10 error code indicates that the camcorder has detected a problem that requires service. Before sending the camera for service, please visit this link: https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/39511 and see if it solves the problem.

If the camera reset does not help, use the following link to set up a repair for the camcorder.

  • Tecra S11 - what are the two primary partitions for?

    Hello everyone

I just got myself a new Tecra S11 with Win7 64 and there is one thing that has me littlebit wondered.
In total, there are four partitions, there are for sure the recovery a (1.46 GB) and the system a (256,38 GB), but then there are also two primary partitions (8.86 and 31.38 GB) without displayed use or file system. There is no unallocated space.

Can someone tell me what are these two partitions? I want to split the system partition to store my data on a separate, if possible I also want to use that 'unknown' space then ;)

Besides that: don't worry, I already have recovery DVD.

    Greetings
    Nico

I put t know why you now have the new structure of the partitions, but the important thing is that you create recovery DVDs and if something goes wrong with the preinstalled recovery image OS or HARD drive you can use DVDs for the installation of the OS.

  • What is the average of 'for sale 1 open CR (s)"?

    Hi all

I posted my app for sale, but the status says "for sale 1 open CR (s)".

Which; average 'roomfor Ssali 1 open CR (s)'s? My app was sold in the world of blackberry?

    Thank you.

    brad_qqq

This means that your application is on sale in the world of blackberry AND you have a change application's open request. To see a preview of what the change request is you can click on the nav bar item 'Change request Tickets' on supplier portal. To see if you have downloads, you can check your download reports. You won't see any downloads for the current day, but you can check for the current day by doing a 'regular report' that you will find in the download reports section.

  • Re: Tecra A7 - what is the maximum capacity of the HARD drive?

    Hi all

Is there any BIOS, hardware limitation of a hard drive replacement for Toshiba Tecra A7? I'm looking to install 500 GB hard drive. Will it work?

    Thank you
    Matt

    Hello

As I know there is no limit of capacity on the HARD disk for Tecra A7 already has a SATA interface and a controller for the HARD drive.

So, theoretically, 500 GB should work fine, I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work.

But you could give us a feedback here, how it works with 500 GB! ;)

  • Tecra S1 - what is the latest bios?

Hi, I wonder if someone can direct me to the latest version of the bios S1. The reason that I ask is that I have a bios loaded, which is 30/03/2005 ver 2.50 but when I try and get the latest version from the dated 07/09/07 Tosiba site it downloads just the same old bios? Is this the last or not?

    Thank you, Theo

    Hello

The latest BIOS seem to be 2, 50-win.
The BIOS seems to be transferred to 07/09/07
I put t surprising, since 07/09/07, has not been updated. Tecra S1 belongs to one of the older series, and I doubt that this newer BIOS version would be published in the future
