• InDesign: Help with Grep Styles (do not always work)

  I found this excellent tutorial which allows styles GREP simulate the functionality of the HTML tags.

  Paragraph 2 does not work. The < b > tags are hidden, but the characters are not "BOLD".

  Apply bold to the text: (< b >). + (< /b >)

  (Style HTML is used to hide the HTML characters. "Style"BOLD"makes"BOLD").

  Is there a paragraph return after 'make '? You can check by turning on the view-> display-> Normal Mode and then Type-> display hidden characters (not sure on the last of them, my phone isn't InDesign on it).

  GREP styles may cover several paragraphs. So if the opening tag "BOLD" is in one paragraph, and the closing tag is in the second paragraph, it'll never work.

• Hyperlink navigation does not always work

  I decided to use a bar of hyperlink pinned for navigation on my site and it works for the first round of the navigation / click, but if I try to click on the site a second time the hyperlinks do not work. Unless - I will return to my logo which is a redirect to the home page and then they work again, but only for a round of click. Here is the link to my site.   Seems to work ok for me in mac Safari.

  Often, when there is a problem with the hyperlinks does not always work, it's because there is an object that is located on the navigation. In Muse, open your page in design creation and "select all." See if there is a block of text empty big or rectangle off the coast to the right somewhere which will overlap your menu when you scroll. If so remove it or move behind the menu.

• DAQmx and PDM not always work

My intention is to record the output voltage of two photo-recepteurs that I scan the current in a diode laser controller.  When I run this code that it does not always record the values while I'm scanning and when I leave the TDMS files viewer program will show me no data. Sometimes, but rarely, he will show me some data. The sequence stacked within the structure of case is code that runs the laser controller and a couple of translational mounts.   Try to use the client-side save instead of the State Server record by setting the value of javax.faces.STATE_SAVING_METHOD in the Web.XML to the client-side.

• Uninstalled Google Chrome, but Windows Photo Gallery does not always work.

With the help from here, I have eliminated the problem of links in the emails no longer works, but have been unable to get Windows Picture Gallery working again.

  I renamed the file "pictures.pd4" as suggested here. That did not help.

  old version of photo gallery. Have you tried to download
  and install the current version of Windows Live Photo
  Gallery 2011?

  When you right-click the Windows Explorer button at the bottom of the screen on the task bar, it has an option to "remove from this list. all Frequent ' point/place' that there are listed...

  I used this option during most of the items listed to clean a little bit because I don't want to see it all.

  BUT:
  I have now six items/places to the left.  I want three of them to stay.  I would like to 'Remove' the other three, but the option "Remove from this list" DOES NOT WORK!

  I tried:
  -Manually remove items/locations...   Always in the list.  So I put them back
  -Search for places objects in a windows search to see if they appeared in a file list somewhere that I could remove a manually.  No foumd.

  HOW to REMOVE THESE UNWANTED ITEMS/LOCATIONS in the list of Windows Explorer?

  NOTE: A second problem is that I couldn't use a sign less "-" to exclude elements of my research, when I used Windows Search.  I tried to use '-internet "to exclude references to Internet Explorer.  It did not work.  There for me in the past.

  Right-click the Start button, and then select Properties.

  In the privacy section, remove the check mark from the option "store and displayrecently open items in the Start Menu and the taskbar" . CLIck apply/OK.

  Check the list of shortcuts in Windows Explorer and recent items section should be empty.

  Go back and re - activate this option.

  NOTE: this procedure will empty all the list Jump list recent items as well as the recent items on the Start Menu.

  This is the standard behavior because the first link has the end .pdf and the other link is not. In the second link is an option play (Content-Disposition attachment; filename = < < filename > > .pdf). This option tells the browser that the file must be uploaded as an attachment. I don't know if this works with .pdf files, but you can try to install the 'open in browser' - add - on. It will show you another option in the Save dialog file that you open the file in the browser.
