  • Tecra M5 - will not be in hibernation or standby to standard Select-Bay drive inserted

My Tecra M5 passes not in standby or sleep mode when it is selected in the menu start/stop. This is only a problem when the standard Toshiba CD player is inserted in select Bay. Once removed, it will be put into hibernation. Certainly this isn't something you should do every time?
    Any ideas?

I think that you are the first person who says something like that. Is the STRANGE empty when you try to use standby or Hibernation mode?

In any case, it's really strange question. Certainly, something like that shouldn't happen. Have you noticed that since the first day? How long do you use your Tecra? Is there a similar situation when you use FN + F4 or FN + F3 keycombination?

Hibernate worked sometimes, so this isn't a problem with it being disabled.

I've upgraded to the latest version of the BIOS (A F.13) and now it works.

    Hello.

I have a Tecra T9100 and CARPET * DVDROM has now won ' t * burned to CD playback.
He has no problem reading manufacturing CD / DVD.

I noticed this after upgrading the BIOS by version 1.6.

Is there anything else I need to do / configure / install?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Maybe you need to check the different CDs from different manufacturers and should change the slower burning at that speed.

If this will not help then a CD/DVD drive problem could be the reason why don't not all disks are readable.

  • Tecra M9 - will not power on and flashing LED

Can someone tell me where I can find a list of what means the various sequences of flashing of LED on a Tecra M9?

I have one that will not be running at all and the power light flashes a particular model of amber.

    Toshiba Tecra M9
    PTM91E-04R03TEN

    Hello

I think that such a list of error codes for the LEDs are not available. I've never seen such lists on the Toshiba site, I guess they are no longer available to the authorized service provider.

But you can try this: remove the battery and the AC adapter at least an hour. Then connect the two devices again and try to start the laptop.

If it doesn t work an ASP needs to ask for help. They can give you professional help and fix it.

  • Tecra M1 will not read any type of SD card

    Help!
According to the title, my M1 will not read any type of SD card. I'm running the SP2 of XP reloaded from original floppies, and it is fully up-to-date with Windows Update.
The little green light adjacent to the slot flashes briefly on the insertion of a card, but nothing happening for example no open option window and nothing visible in my computer.

I downloaded the latest drivers and installed according to the directives of the readme.txt file and even thought to copy the SDDEVMGR.dll in the System32 folder.
I obviously lack something, so any help or pointers are welcome.

    Thank you very much. Craig

    Hello

Usually, books are not all sizes of SD card and so you should be sure that the used SD card is supported and compatible with the Tecra M1 card reader.

But if you are using a compatible SD card the laptop should be able to read/write on the SD card.
I try to remove the SD card in the Device Manager controller and remove the driver software malfunction. Restart the computer and install the latest drivers again.

  • Satellite P100 will not stay in hibernation mode

    Hi everyone ~.

    Satellite P100
    Vista

Before going to bed, in that I always put my computer in hibernation. He won't stay in hibernation mode. I don't know fashion 'sleep' here.
I click on the Start button and then choose put into hibernation. It goes into hibernation and I go to bed, so I don't know when it will come out of hibernation.

I used to have to press the power button, get up and running after his hibernation. Along the front of the computer are 5 blue lights. I'll call them a, b, c, d and e.

d & e are usually off when I use the computer.

a, b, and c are on when I'm on the computer. When it goes into hibernation mode b turns off.

When I get up in the morning a, b and c are all back on and everything that I have to do is move my mouse around then newspaper instead of the first press of the power button.
I have a few scheduled tasks, but I've always had people.

Help, please. Is there a setting that I can do to take care of this problem? TIA

    Hello

Have you noticed the same thing with the mode sleep too?

Anyway, check it please Windows Update option and disable it. Click the settings (left) and make sure that the first option install updated is automatically disabled. Maybe your laptop starts each day at a time and try to do the update of audit.

    Test it!

  • Re: Satellite Pro 6000 - will not be from hibernation

I allowed my Sat Pro 6000 to run out of battery at the weekend so I was working on it and it went into hibernation, now I can't get the screen to wake up again. When I Plug and switch on the power led lights up, but the driven system is not. If I leave the power for about 10 minutes, the fan turns on and then turns off again.

I tried to disconnect the battery cable and the power and left these disconnected from the day to the next, but this did not help. I removed the hard drive and tried in another 6000 and it works fine.

    Everyone knows about this problem?

    Hello

It seems more like a hardware problem as a problem of Hibernate (software).
I think there is something wrong with the power of electronic power supply on the motherboard and so the machine doesn't wake up or start impossible.

I think it will be not easy to fix this problem yourself.
Therefore an ASP help would be needed I put t see any other possibility.

    Best regards

  • laptop will not stop mode hibernation even after changing the system power settings.

    Hello

I hope someone can help! I have a friend who is Dell laptop (Inspiron 1720 using Vista, I think than sp2) just started his laptop goes into hibernation mode randomly. He has never encouraged or warned against this hibernation. He has apparently hit the power button to sleep after his party in hiber. mode and press power to turn, but it will still in hibernation mode again and again. He disappeared into his system settings and turned everything forever or off, hes checked it several times and still, it still goes into hibernation mode. It's a little frustrating for him because he cannot yet ask for help, so why I'm here asking for help on his behalf. Its battery is apparently dead and does not have a load more but he has been dead for some time. He tried to run the laptop with the battery but nothing does not change or resolve the issue. can anyone help or suggest? Reformat im thinking is the only option, but he will lose a lot of information without being able to get all of his stuff backed up before his pc will again into hibernation mode

    My suggestions:

1 turn off the hibernation option. Procedures are very easy... Here is the link:http://www.internetfixes.com/vista_tips/IF01166.htm

    2. to avoid that the computer will "sleep mode" instead:
Back to the Power Options window > click on change Plan settings > click Exchange Advanced Ppwer settings > scroll multimedia settings, expand it (lick the sign more) > expand when media sharing > plugged in, set it as to prevent idling to sleep > click OK

  • Windows 7 64 bit HP will not be in hibernation

    Hello _M_a_t_tT,

Thanks for the return of the response.  Follow the steps below to remove SP1.  Please let us know status with Hibernate after have.

How to uninstall Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/uninstallwindows7sp1

    Note

If you have installed SP1, you can uninstall it. However, if your computer came with SP1 is already installed, it cannot be uninstalled.

I had similar problems. Windows 7 backup also failed. A very frustrating experience, find a solution.

Finally, I was told on the recovery partition on my Dell XPS laptop. Why this should cause problems with the hibernation and backup I have no idea.

Most of the OEMs are implemented with this recovery partition as a way to restore the computer to its factory presets, if there is a major problem.

You would like to try this. Go to Control Panel - Administrative Tools disk management - computer management. You will see there are 3 partitions on disk 0, one is the boot partition, approx. 100 MB - not to meddle with that! The recovery partition is a small section of ~ 20 MB. This right click and select "change drive letter and access paths. Then set it to drive Z:. Accept and ignore warnings (this process makes the visible recovery partition in windows Explorer, but leave well alone!). Restart after. Try to hibernate again.

If this does not work, I do not exclude other things to change in power settings developed these tend to be different for every computer. You may need to go into it as well. I disabled the selective suspension of USB and set wake on timer in the "Disabled" sleep options also.

  • After the recent update of Win7, computer will not remain in hibernation

After a recent update of Windows (probably to fix something else), my computer refused to stay in hibernation.
This is a 64 bit machine running Win7 Pro, and he wakes up now randomly after going into hibernation.
I tried using 'powercfg' to see what is wake it up - no result.
I tried to use 'powercfg' to deny the mouse and network which apparently have permission to wake up-no result.
I unplugged the mouse in case there is a vibration of the earthquakes to chance - no result
I unplugged the cable to the router in case there is a stray signal from on the internet - no result
I went into the "Network properties" window and turned off all the "wake up" properties - no result.
I looked at similar questions on this forum and checked "of performance issues" in the Panel as not advised - no problems to report.

OK - what makes the Microsoft with a recent update to cause this problem and when they're going to cancel it?

    Hello

Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to check the update history to discover the updates installed by following the link:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/see-which-Windows-updates-are-installed
