Tecra M7 for Dutch handwriting recognition

Hello

Anyone know how I can activate for Dutch handwriting recognition? Now I can't use the keyboard on the screen if I put the Dutch language. If I change the language to English I use also the writing pad and the character pad.

I need to download from somewhere Dutch handwriting recognition?

Thank you
Joost

Hello Joost

Can you please write what is the exact name of this software and how to get started? I'm not familiar with the Tablet PC OS, but it is that this option is part of the software preinstalled Toshiba, you can download on the download page of Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp but if this option is part of the redistributable Microsoft tablet PC that means you need to use Dutch OS or check Microsoft support for page type of download or update even.

Good bye

    Hi bryznet

Windows Journal is part of the Group of Tablet PC accessories. It is not a keyboard application.
It is an application ink for taking notes of ink and writing to text conversion.
If you want to simply type in the text, you can use a word such as Notepad or Microsoft Office Word application.

If you want a combination of features of ink and/or the text of note taking, then watch Microsoft OneNote (think of it as Notepad Word, OneNote is)

  • How to activate the handwriting recognition in Windows Vista SP2

Recently, I bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet, model CTL-460. The Tablet works in Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter Essentials 4, it even works in Windows to scroll, double-click, etc.. The only thing I can't get to work is the handwriting recognition. I thought it may have been my version of Office, so I've recently upgraded to Office 2010 beta, but under ink tools, the only thing it allows me to use is 'Selection of objects.

I tried to change my keyboard in 'Regional and Language Options' under the keyboard 'Other', which includes "Writing Pad", "Write Anywhere" and "Drawing block", but it does not work. I try to click on 'Properties' for the three listed but I get the message error "(empty) property setting is unavailable. I also tried the Windows key + H, but it did not work. I tried all the properties of Tablet I could but nothing worked.

My computer is an IBM - Lenovo T61 Thinkpad of 2007 with a processor Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 @ 1.8 GHZ. I've recently upgraded to SP1 and SP2 to later that day here. I have installed the driver for the tablet before I upgraded to SP1, but updated the driver after the installation of SP2.

Any information on this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Thing annoying Tablet handwriting recognition

Ive just installed a Tablet Wacom on Windows 7 and a really annoying pop - up window of handwriting recognition appeared. How can I get rid of this annoying tablet functionality. I tried to hit the Red Cross but he landed it right next to the screen. I've looked through the help and options of pen/touch in Control Panel, but can't see anything to turn it off!

Please someone help, I'm so frustrated that this small thing can get in the way my busy day!

    Hi DrSnooze,

    Follow these steps:

Click on the Tablet PC Input Panel icon in the Windows taskbar. If the icon is not visible, right-click on the taskbar, select toolbars and the Tablet PC Input Panel.

    To customize input panel:

    1. open the entry sign and then click on Tools in the menu bar.

    2. Select Options to open the Input Panel Options dialog box.

3 customize the settings of the entrance sign of how you like to work.

    4. click on Tools and output.

You can customize the settings accordingly here and disable the handwriting recognition.

  • What version of Windows 7 has hand featlure of handwriting recognition Tablet?

I have a laptop / Tablet Toshiba M700 with Vista Business.  Toshiba support told me that Windwos 7 will support my Tablet/handwriting recognition capabilities but not Windows 8.  What version of Windows 7 is what I need?

The Tablet features are available in all editions of Windows 7 except the Starter edition.  Given that you cannot upgrade Vista to Starter - as far as I know, you need not worry.  ;-)

Determine what you need by other factors:
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Comparison_chart

If you have "Vista Business"--> to make a direct upgrade without loss of settings/software installed (for the most part-in any case to make backups - be smart on this topic) you need to get one of the following editions of Windows 7:

    Professional, company, full

... and since it is unlikely that you will get a copy of 'Business' for your personal system (hypothesis- but you doesn't look like not you upgrading a bunch of them, nor did the expression to make me think, "IT staff"...) you would need one of these two editions:

    Professional or ultimate edition

    https://www.Google.com/search?q=%22Windows+7+Professional+Edition%22#q=%22Windows+7+Professional+Edition%22&TBM=shop

The first is probably more than enough.  New - Look at the table...
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Comparison_chart

Good luck.  Don't forget to download and have ready all your drivers for hardware devices made for Windows 7 by the manufacturer of your computer (Toshiba) and/or manufacturers of individual components to install after having upgraded.  Non - Microsoft did not or they take over your hardware somehow - they made the operating system, he returned to write drivers that interface with every operating system they wish their device working properly on the manufacturers material and up to the end user to install in a scenario such as the one you are proposing to us business.

  • Where can I get the Toshiba Tecra A9 for tools after formatting the HARD drive?

    Hello.
I bought a laptop Tecra A9 with Vista Business. I would format because there are a lot of tools and programs on it the notebook already that I didn't need, and it's very slow.

There is a "hidden partition", but if I use it to recover it installs all tools and software.
Fortunately, there was a DVD of Vista Business in the area.
So I would use that one.

Now my question: some of the tools (Toshiba HDD protection, Fingerprint-Software) seem useful and I would like to reinstall as soon as he runs again. Where can I download them? I only found the drivers on the Toshiba site.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

    > Fortunately, there was a DVD of Vista Business in the area. So I would use that one.

It's very strange because I know Toshiba laptops are supplied only with the Toshiba Recovery CD and not an original CD of Microsoft Vista.
If you want to use this recovery CD, you will get the same OS preinstalled with all the drivers and tools such as at the beginning.

In my opinion, you should remove all simply not necessary tools and operating system utilities and don t install the OS again!
For registry cleaning, I recommend using the freeware program called CCleaner!

    Good bye

  • Can I downgrade Tecra S2 for Win2000?

I recently bought a brand new Tecra S2 with preinstalled on WinXP. I tried it downgrade to Windows 2000, but the installer crashes when I press ENTER to start the installation. It is the same with Win98. Did anyone of you knows how to pass the operating system to a lower on Tecra S2? WinXP does not accept some of my software that I have to perform my work as a translator and I really don't like this version of the OS. Is downgrade at all possible for this laptop? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi sunny

The newer units are created to be up-to-date. With other words, it means that this device must be able to deal with the new hardware and software configuration. Your device is tested to work correctly with Windows XP. As you know all the drivers and tools are suitable for this OS.

If you want to install an older operating system you may have problems because it is not possible to find the proper drivers and tools for this model of laptop. The only thing you can do is search for the drivers on the net and try to find the right on the site of producer of material.

In my opinion, it is very unfortunate to install some OS like Win98 on this pretty portable. ;)

  • Tecra A11 for PA3508E-PRP1 (Express Port Replicator)?

The Express Port Replicator PA3508E PRP1 can be used with Tecra A11? Given all that I have read the answer would be no, or Advanced Port Replicator or Express Port Replicator II would be necessary. But the port replicators are very similar on the upper side (connectors). Perhaps it is an old item that no one it lists as compatible more precisely?

is that you must use compatible devices only with laptop Tecra yout and according to specification for your Tecra A11, you can use Express Port Replicator II with PA3680E-1PRP part number.

This port replicator is designed for latest Tecra and Portege laptop models.

The cables seem to have sheets on the end, and for the life of me I don't see where the editing.

    Can anyone help?
    TKS, Paul.

    Hello

Don t know which cable you mean exactly, but a cable black and white can be a WLan antenna.
This WLan antenna must be connected to the WLan (miniPCI) module.
But if your A3 does not contain an internal WLan module, you cannot connect this cable.

My Dell Inspiron 1545 with a built-in mic, but for some reason any it don't will pick up any sound at all for the Windows speech recognition (Windows Vista).

    Hi Matthew,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Windows Vista Answers.

Have you checked to see if the correct settings have been selected for the microphone in the computer?

Try to access the control panel > Sound > Audio. Check the recording tab if the Microphone is on and working. Click on set up and once you see the working driver (i.e., reacts to your voice), right click on it and the default value.

Later try to put in place the program of speech recognition in all programs > Accessories > accessibility > Windows speech recognition and try settings different microphone to the edge we respond to your voice.

You can also try to update the audio drivers. Access the link below and try to download the drivers.
