Tecra R850-151 and low screen resolution

Good afternoon

I contact you for realizaros a technical issue concerning a model of Toshiba Tecra R850-151, part no 8b112605h PT525E and the serial number.

I explain the scenario.

I installed the laptop in a docking station, this one monitor, keyboard and mouse, I installed the driver downloaded from your site for this model of laptop and operating system and you have set up in screen Intel Graphics and Multimedia Control Panel of operation mode screens clones both screens in resolution 800 x 600 and respect me as an administrator entering the mode of operation of the screen and the resolution the bug is when I have access to the system with another user without administrative privileges, in this case the resolution does not respect me and sometimes not the mode of operation of the screens.

Please faciliteis a solution to this problem because it is essential that the resolution on both screens and the problem is that entering the system with another user respect me when I accepted the turnstile as an administrator resolution and if I change the theme of the screens or judgment as a user when I turned off the computer and turn it on again you ignore the turnstile. Moreover, I installed the OS twice now and the error persists, and I installed the latest driver that you have on the Web, and before as well and always the same.

A welcome message.

    Hello

Have you already checked the Realtek HD audio Manager located in the control panel?
There are various tabs like speakers or Microphone.

I recommend the microphone tab where you can find different parameters such as the recording level and reading level.

You can also activate the remove noise that is also part of the mic

  • Images with lower screen resolutions on Tecra M5 unclear

    Hello

We have a few M5s with graphics card Intel that works perfectly with the screen resolution of 1024 * 768 usual.
Now we buy some new ones equipped with nVidia Quadro M5s, and they seem to have a native resolution of 1400 * 1050.

If I try to measure the resolution 1024 * 768 or 1280 * 1024, the images are badly blurred. But I think that the icons to 1400 * 1050 on a 14 "screen are really too small for the average users.

    No solution?
    Thank you

Tecra M5 comes with three different views. If you buy one with a higher resolution display, resolution reduced with photo dimmish results.

Sorry but there is nothing to do. For example, you can connect external monitor with lower resolution.

  • How to set the lower screen resolution on HP Pavilion

I'm trying to figure out if its possible to lower my screen resolution of 800 x 600 on my HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 - b010us running on Windows 8. I need to do that; It is the only way that I can get my pico projector to run using VGA to HDMI - I tried it with my Sony VAIO and it works perfectly. The lowest setting that I see on my HP is 1024 x 768, and it does not work. Any help? Don't want to have to buy a new projector - this one works very well and the HP laptop has a VGA port

I came across this same issue using the resolution option custom in the Intel driver manager and has had success using mode low resolution.  I had also edited the registry to force more options.  The registry change which resulted in several resolutions between 1366 x 768 and 1024 x 768, but nothing lower.  Windows 8 is not really designed for lower resolutions (at least, which is not the ideal targeted resolutions), so I guess that would be present on any standard notebook Windows 8.

However, I have relevΘ this site today to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything... and it seems that I was.  I don't know how I didn't have to check the option advanced settings for more resolutions.  This approach does not require mode low resolution to restart, but it's going to require a screen resolution > avancΘs > list all modes to get 800 x 600 option each time you need.

Let me know if this has answered your questions.

  • On my T400 low screen resolution.

    Thanks in advance.

IIRC, the choices were 1280 x 800 (WXGA) or 1440 x 900 (WXGA + mine is).  W / models CTO, you had to choose one with the performance of the system.

  • Fuzzy characters on Tecra 9100 with low screen resolution

When you use the standard Toshiba S3 for Windows XP video drivers I seem to be having problems with the display when the resolution is equal or less than 1024 x 768.

Any text on the screen is blurry / weird quality.
If I select a higher resolution, the screen is good with crisp text / sharp.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Simon

Don t panic! This isn't a failure or problem
The native resolution of your internal display had to be greater than 1024 x 768 that is why you have to leave the laptop running with the best possible resolution.

This issue has already been discussed in this forum. You should check this:

Perhaps this problem could be related to the graphics driver.
    Have you tried to update?

  • Satellite Pro 4200 and wrong screen resolution

OK, so I have an old Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200 and I m running windows xp professional on it and I ve been wondering because many programs do not work on it because of the resolution of the screen I want to know if there is a way to change.
I know usually you access properties etc but when I try to drag, he does not slide remains at 800 x 600.

So if anyone can help me on what I d really really really appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure you don't l l install the display driver. It is necessary to use solutions above 800 x 600 screen.

The drivers, you can download a Toshiba site but don t forget to look in the * Archives * because your laptop is not the most recent:

  • Problems with view 4.5 and PCOIP screen resolution.

I know this question has been asked before, but I have yet to find a solid solution. The last activity that I saw on this was in October 2010, so I thought I would like to start over rather than resurrecting an old thread. Please see below the description of the problem.

We have a number of XP virtual machines configured in a dynamic pool for our users. The pool settings are configured to allow a maximum of 4 monitors, with a resolution 1920 x 1200 on each monitor max. Users report that when they log in and try to change the resolution, the settings tab in the display properties page disappeared.

Thanks to this research, I stumbled upon VM KB article 1020809, updated less of a month earlier, indicating a fix for this problem (changing the registry NoDispSettingsPage value to 0). I did it on my main template, however, when users log in is set to 1 return.

There was also a thread in this forum who suggested changing the option multi-screen in the settings of the Pool to 1, leaving vCenter update, then change it back and then by a stop and start on all machines. I tried as well, but it has not solved this problem.

Finally, I tried to turn OFF the option to hide the Group Policy Settings Page, but the setting remains at 1. Can I change the resolution of the screen via a script (it does not persist by a closing/opening session, that is another matter), but can not get the settings tab appears.

I saw there is a model adm for Vista or Windows 7, but I am not mistaken, is there anything more that can be done to XP? I can't understand why this keeps getting ready again to 1 and am hoping that my users will not at all be stuck with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. As a side note, if I change it programmatically, what (s) do I need capture to have persist through a logoff (we use a third-party management tool ProfileUnity call profile)?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

What is the native resolution of the screens in use? I found that view will automatically set resolution in accordance with the native resolution. At least that seems to be the case in my situation.

  • I can't drag the arrow to change my screen resolution. He moves only from high to low-nothing in between.

I can't drag the arrow to change the resolution on my new laptop. He moves only from the highest to lowest - nothing in between.

    Hi Eileen,.

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

You can use only the highest and most low screen resolutions available and nothing in between.

What is brand and model monitor?

The resolution, you can use is based on the resolution that your monitor supports. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768 pixels and can work well with different resolutions. LCD monitors, also called flat screens and screens of portable computers often support higher resolutions and better suited to a specific resolution.

  • Windows will not update the screen resolution and the color depth

Out of the blue today, my Windows XP installation had its color depth and screen resolution back to the lowest setting and whenever I try to update it refuses to put up-to-date.

I even try to restart my computer and a bubble appears downstairs offering reset the color depth and resolution to my automatically.  When I click, it appears as if he's trying to return to normal, but again once nothing happens - the colors and the screen resolution is still at the lowest setting.

Can any ideas on how I fix?

    Hello

Here are some things to try to fix it.

    Change the screen resolution.

"How the resolution screen on Windows XP"

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/Videocards/HT/screenres.htm

You can also right-click on an empty desktop > properties > settings > it the slider bar allows you to increase the resolution > Apply > OK > agree in the next window, etc.

If that fixed it, have damaged you graphic drivers.

Access the site on your computer or the manufacturer of the graphics card > look for a driver download Section > search for your model number and operating system > get graphics / video / Chipset Drivers (depending on how it is formulated) > download and install.

    Change the screen resolution.

You can also try a system restore before all these problems started:

If you have a portable computer... go to the support site for your computer manufacturer
and the search for Compatible Vista video drivers updated.

If you have a desktop computer... go to the website of your video adapter support

The following article can help you find the brand/model/driver version of
    your video card:

If you find a video updated driver... it would be a good idea to create a

  • DisplayPort to 2560 x 1440? (Tecra R850)

    Hello

I think buying a Tecra R850 - 1 8 to connect to a monitor Samsung LS27A850DS (2560 x 1440 px). Both the laptop and the monitor have a DisplayPort, and if I'm not mistaken, the Tecra R850 uses QM67 Express chipset which should support resolutions up to 2560 x 1600.

However, the Tecra R850 specifications specify a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 for the external monitor, what intrigues me. Can someone tell me if the R850 supports a 2560 x 1440 externally via DisplayPort screen?

    Thank you already!

    Hello

You can download owner's manuals and open the 111 page to find info on DisplayPort, but unfortunately he has no table with the resolutions taken in charge.

It is listed for HDMI only.
Try to talk with your local Manager. Maybe they have a show room and you can test it.
