Tecra R950 constantly wanting to run windows reapir
Brand new Tecra R950 with Toshiba dynadock.
Installed applications. MYOB, office etc OK.
Updates to Windows. Reboot and white screen. Power OFF / on. Need to repair windows to recover. After a long time, to the top she comes. You need to reinstall everything.
Install applications, restart, create restore ;) point
Do updates (windows in groups). Create restore point after each reboot.
Worked very well. Client used without DOCK plugged. Stop. The dock is plugged in and turned on the next day. Ok. Machine fell asleep - might wake up. Extinction /, Windows does not start once more, wants to fix - after a long time: failure, unknown automatic failover, bad past. Reboot and it happens?
What is happening with this machine?

Good question
What do you think?
HARD drive problem? Microsoft Windows software problem?

New on Mac w/purchase of Pro. You want to run Windows applications. 8 against 10 using virtualization?
The two big names of virtualization are Parallels and VMware. They have a sort of leap-frogging each other in terms of features. Parallels has a fairly seamless integration between Mac and Windows.
Your Mac is also already comes with Boot Camp, which lets you install Windows on a separate partition.

Need advice on running Windows 7 under the El Capitan on an iMac 27 ".
I was running Parallels on my MBP 15 ". It worked but was a little slow to start and not completely satisfactory. They seem to have problems with each update of the OSX. Now, they need a comprehensive upgrade to El Capitan. Last year, I bought an iMac 27 "5K and want to run Windows on the iMac.
I have a program that I need to install that works under Windows (company TurboTax). I'm about to use BootCamp and run Windows in its own partition. I read the installation instructions and watched some YouTube tutorials on this topic. Looks like it won't be too hard to install. A person highly recommended having a good backup of the hard drive internal that some have found some files corrupted when you do this, requiring a full restore of OS X, applications, and files. I wonder if a good backup Time Machine is sufficient, or do I have to do a new backup?
Also I have not found it yet in the documentation, but it's probably here. I need to be able to access the same files in both Windows and OSX. I guess this isn't a problem. I need something special to make the files accessible to the two operating systems? In my view, they are all accessible to any system of control.
Guess I'm looking to make sure that it is a good thing to do. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit DVD can I use for the installation. I'm also going to use a USB key as suggested for the installation. I was also informed that it is better to download the software to support first and put it on the USB key before starting the installation.
I've been advised to give 10 Windows a little more time before the upgrade to it. Windows 7 is perfect for limited use, I Windows.Any comments on this?
Thanks for the tips here.
Windows 7 is probably the most stable version of windows in the history of Windows, I would give him the props on 10.6.8 Yes, is very good, he's sucking fanboys.
Windows 10 is a monkey demon that came out of the bowels of * to disrupt his legacy.
that says that Windows 7 is no longer supported by MS is no longer under BootCamp (supported by 10.11) and you will need a previous instance of grandfathered in when OS X has allowed its installation or you will need to use something other than BootCamp to install Win 7

Is it possible to run Windows 7 on Tecra S1 PT831E
Hello
is it possible to run Windows 7 on my Tecra S1 PT831E 126PQ?
I've updated the BIOS (last?) version 2.50 (it should be suitable also for Windows 7). With this done BIOS is fully compliant with ACPI?
Checking with Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor should not be a problem, in fact.
Thanks for any help.
Well cordially

Hello
Of course, you can install Windows 7 on your good old classic.
But the fact is that there is no official driver Win 7 on the page of the European driver Toshiba, it seems that you have to collect the pilots in his own hand. But in general this should not be a problem of submission.
WLAN, LAN drivers can be downloaded from the pages of chip manufacturer driver touchpad can be used in other models of computers, laptops and Toshiba as VAP (value added package) Flash cards tools or similar -
What is the best strategy to migrate data from Windows to one Mac to another? I use Parallels Desktop to run Windows on my current Mac but want to use Bootcamp on my new.
If it is only the data (not apps) I use Dropbox. It turned out to be the best way to move things between the side Mac and the bootcamped Windows of my iMac side. I don't see why it would not work to move data from a virtual machine installation of Win to a BootCamp installation.

I want windows 8 on a computer that is running windows 7
whith to change my win 7 I don't want to risk my files and data.
I still have that win 7 on i and win 8 togther
Windows 8 is not through beta again, and still less as a definitive system. I try even now the installation of developer. He will "die" as soon as the beta is out.
In the meantime, do as much research as you can in dual boot.

Hello
You're confused system recovery and system restore.
System Restore makes the settings from your computer to an earlier date; It will not reinstall the operating system.
System recovery reinstalls the operating system how much you bought your machine; as for the new State.

You can reinstall by the HP Recovery Manager if your computer is still running or by pressing F11 at startup.
You can also make your own recovery discs.
All these information are the included HP link.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and want to know if I can upgrade to Windows 7 using Windows 7 anytime upgrade [starter to home premium]
original title: Windows UpdateI am running Windows Vista Home Premium and want to know if I can upgrade to Windows 7 using Windows 7 anytime upgrade
No, it will not work.
Windows 7 anytime upgrade: you have Vista or XP currently installed?
If the product you have Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' does not allow to move from XP/Vista to Windows 7. You can buy the product at retail of Windows 7 Upgrade not the ' Anytime Upgrade '.
Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' is for moving from one version of Windows 7 to a higher version, such as Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.
