    Hello akibono

I imagine that you have installed Windows XP Home clean on your laptop and now you want to install all the drivers, tools and utilities. Am I right about that?

In any case, after the installation of Windows XP Home edition you install all the drivers, tools and utilities in the order of the specific facilities. After doing this, everything should be OK and every hardware component will be correctly configured.
Please install all the stuff as follows:
    WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
    Driver Chipset
    Display driver
    Audio driver
    Driver modem
    Storage Manager
    LAN driver
    Touchpad driver
    WLAN driver
    Toshiba Assist
    Flash Media driver
    Driver webcam
    Hardware configuration
    Controls
    And so on

I hope that everything will be OK.

  • Ricoh PCIe Memory Stick host controller driver

I have the Sony VPCEA390x and Win 7 Premium. It is 64-bit based.

I installed Norton Ghost SW to do backups and restorations and owe it to create/have a recovery CD. The recovery CD does not support 64-bit drivers.

The pilot validation tool Ghost Recovery has identified as a problem Ricoh PCIe Memory Stick host controller driver.

How can I get this driver in 32 bit?

I need to add this driver 32-bit on a recovery CD, I won't be able to recover my laptop.

  • Satellite A200 - 1 GB WXP - unknown PCI memory manager

After getting my A200 - 1 GB I also installed windows xp and now I use my laptop with xp and vista. After downloading all the drivers for windows xp on the Toshiba site, I installed it and now the problem: all the material r ok, but I have an unknown device-> PCI memory manager in Device Manager.

    Anyone? I need help...

Someone here in the forum suggested that the controller memory PCI is Intel Turbo Memory, also called Intel Flash cache logic chip also called device Robson.
It's quite new technology designed to support the new features of Vista.
There is not driver for it for Windows XP because XP doesn t supports the function of cache, it is supported by Vista.

  • Satellite A210 PCI memory and SM Bus drivers

    Hello

I have a Satellite A210-12U running Windows Vista 32-bit, and in the last days it has failed to find the drivers for PCI memory controller and the driver of the Bus SM initially upwards. He then asks pilots as it interprets that there new material.

I also discovered that I can no longer use the CD-ROM drive or the SD card reader, so I guess that the two problems are related?

Can someone point me in the direction of the pilots asked?

    Thank you

    Hello

I think and I'm quite sure that the PCI memory controller and SM Bus driver is bound to the controller CD card SD card reader needs the driver.

    Should try this driver:

  • EliteBook 850 G3: Impossible to install PCI Data Acquisition and processing of Signal or PCI memory controller controller

    Hello

I just got a new Elitebook 850 G3, it came with a windows 7 x 64 bit CD and App/drivers installation disk, as well as the 8.1 and 10. I was able to update/install all drivers, but PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing controller and PCI memory controller. I tried to go to the HP Web site for my product, only 8.1 and 10 x 64 operating system options, a search on the entire SWSETUP folder finds nothing and allowing research on windows update returns no result. I tried the 8.1 drivers, obviously no support for operating system, but wanted to try. Also tried to use the G2 850 drivers with no luck. Has anyone experience this problem? HP has drivers for these 2 devices for Windows 7 x 64? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I can't seem to find a driver with the hardware ID you posted.

If I missed something in one of the folders, see if this driver works...

  • SR5710f: PCI memory controller

I have installed a new cooling fan, started the computer and I then received notice that the memory necessary to update PCI controller driver. Let him get on the internet and could not be updated. My question is simple: I'm working on this computer in question now, my ram shows, everything works fine, I need this driver? And if so where can I download it from HP?

I left the issue alone until I received an update on the original post. I went into the Device Manager and reviewed the original question, it isn't here. I run a defrag and cleaned the computer since the original post, I guess it was cleaned away. Everything works fine, the only PCI card is for a fax modem that is never used. Please mark this closed.

  • Windows PCIe device driver problem. Windows hangs on the reception of the PCIe interface data.

I am writing a the PCIe device driver. With the PCIe, I have a connected storage device. I assigned a buffer in memory using malloc() which I use to transmit data to and receive my material. In my hardware, I have a DMA which uses physical addresses for data transmission. The transmission of data to the storage device works fine, it's all data that I have in the buffer are correctly transmitted to the material, but as soon as I try to receive all data from my material in this memory buffer (in memory of the host), windows crashes! I tested it on Windows Vista and Windows 7, but both crashed on playback. I think that windows is not let PCIe write on his memory. If that is the question, can you suggest anything to fix this problem? Or if you think that there is nothing else that is causing this problem, please let me know.

    Any help is appreciated.

You'd better post in MSDN forum here instead.

    Hello:

If there is a device listed in the Device Manager, PCI should it probably this driver...

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-126593-1 & CC = US & DLC = in & LC = on & os = 4063 & Product = 6622260 & sw_lang =

If this isn't the driver you need, I'll need the hardware ID the device requiring the driver.

Go to Device Manager and click on the device requiring the driver.

Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the device window.

Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

On this list and select the item named hardware ID

After the first string of characters you see in the window that begin with PCI\VEN.

    Hello

These issues are always a bit tricky, but impossible.
First of all respond to a short and not so good:

The best way (in my opinion) to find the missing aircraft is to watch what you have configured in the Device Manager and figure out what should be absent.
My best guess is that it is the Modem or IR. Those are often called just PCI Device because Windows can not really know what deviceclass to which they belong.

    Now to the qualityinformation:
Sometimes, it is imperative to set up your machine correctly. This means not only to install the drivers, but it also means to install them in a certain order. If you don't you might well end up with a machine that could behave very strange in particular situations.
So to save you from this headache in the future, take your tools & utilituies CD (if your model didn't come with that one, use your media recovery, recover your machine and burn the CD tools & utility via a special folder). Insert the CD into the machine and watch the list of drivers and utilities. Follow the order in which to install them and install them all. Then, you will not have the problem with the PCI-strange device and you will have a stable platform to work from.

    Good luck!

    Tom

  • Missing drivers for controller PCI memory after reinstalling Vista

I just reinstalled Win Vista and now I have 2 items listed in device with big exclamation points Manager. The first is "Mass storage controller" and the second is the "PCI memory controller".

I have already installed the Intel drivers, what drivers do I need to get these two devices to work?

    Hello!

First of all, what Satellite phone do you have?

You have installed all the drivers from the Web from Toshiba site? For the PCI mass storage controller, you normally have the SATA drivers.
If you have a European model to look at Toshiba's European site for drivers:
