Tecra w50-a-114 - Intel Wireless Display not working / available
Hello
I want to ask question on Tecra W50-A-114. My boss bought this because in the specifications tecra was there Intel Wireless Display.
But now, he wants to use it, connect to the projector, but missing buttons or the applications for it.
OS is Win 8.1
I tried to install the software driver Intel WiDi toshiba support pages for its Tecra w50, but installation finished with error that there is no graphics taken in charge?
Ghaphics is Nvidia Quadro K2100.
Why I don't get error message there is no graphics supported when I use the automatically detected driver support page toshiba, as well as its specifications in this laptop has Intel Wireless display?
How can I make it work?
Thank you very much for the help.
Martin

I don't know what happened. I'm not aware that I changed a few settings. I have check all power management settings, but each parameter is in my opinion very well.
Do you have idea what happened?_Thank for all suggestions. _
Hello
I assume that the level of brightness of display changes no matter if the laptop is connected to the mode of battery or AC adapter? Is this correct?
Usually, the function FN + F7 and FN + F8 keys increases and decreases the brightness of the computers.
But I put t think that theses function might be related to your question. For me, it sounds a bit like hardware issue of Billboard, but it's only my personal opinion

HP Envy 27 - p099na: Intel Wireless Display
In HP Support Assistant, it takes ages (3 hours plus) to download Intel Wireless Display on this PC brand new - a few MB 122,59 file. I have the super fast fiber broadband get just short of 40 MB/s - so I can't understand that. Even the slowest broadband should do in less time. All solutions?
Your desktop PC specifications say nothing about Intel WiDi constituting a trait. Of the specification, it is not part of all of the function that the Office was delivered with.
All available for direct download drivers are located on the portal of the product in the software section and drivers support. Use the following link. I suggest you save the web page as a shortcut on the desktop.

Can I use Intel Wireless Display - Netgear PTV1000 on Satellite U400-157
I want to use the NETGEAR PTV 1000 wireless display device. The hammer on the Net says I should be able to use it if I change the operating system to Windows 7. I see that I need http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/iwd/sb/CS-031059.htm Intel Wireless Display to use.
The Intel Wireless WifI Link 5100 wireless on the Satellite U400-157 is. Seems that it is not one that is required to run the PTV 1000? So an operating system for Win 7 can not allow me to use the PTV 1000?

Qosmio F750-Q10 - how to use Intel Wireless Display
Hi all
My apologies if this has been posted somewhere but I can't find it if it has.
I have a Qosmio F750-Q10 laptop and have recently bought a Toshiba LED Smart TV, which includes the Intel Wireless Display.
I wonder if my laptop is able to use this piece of software that I tried to download the software from the Intel Web site and tried to install one.
However, when I try to install, I get the error message;
"Abandoned InstallShield. This platform is not compatible with Intel Wireless Display"
Can someone shed light on this for me please?
Thank you
SteveIntel is the leading company behind this feature and they have a very nice document describing the necessary components and software to be able to implement the WiDi.

Can I use Satellite R630 with Netgear and Intel wireless display technology
Dear all,
I am a user of a Satellite R630-105 (processor i3 M350). I would use this laptop with Wi - Fi on my plasma on the wall display. Recently, I heard about Intel wireless display technology connected to the Netgear adapter as a possibility for wireless connection to the screen.
Can I use my computer with this technology? If so, what is the process? If not, is there an alternative, using cable is very inconvenient. I'm at the beginner level.
Thank you very much, to come.

Hello
Please check your machine, it is NOT the graphics, more than that. It's the obligation:
http://www.Intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/IWD/sb/CS-031059.htm
Furthermore, you cannot change the Intel HD on your machine without changing the other components, a lot of people say: impossible.
Kind regards.

wireless adapter is gone and the extension display not working after hibernation
my laptop is a thinkpad X201s, os is windows 7, 32 bit, ultimate, English
I used wireless home and my laptop is discharged, it is put into hibernation automatically
the next day, I went to the office, plug power adapter and turn on the computer
then I found wireless does not work, so I opened 'Control network and Internet\Network connections', there is no wireless icon. then I open "Device Manager", there is no wireless network adapter in network adapters
and another bad thing is when I extend my screen with another monitor, the second screen shows nothing and the monitor does not work, it does not work in another computer, it seems necessary to fix. but it works before
and I change a new monitor to connect my laptop display of the extension does not work, but the monitor can work in another computer, that's fine.
and I restarted computer, no help.
Finally I found the solution for wireless, first computer shutdown and plug-out the power adapter (it is very important), wait 30 seconds, then plug power adapter and restart the computer, wireless, great work
now, the extension display function still does not work. I guess that the display extension PIN does not work, maybe need repaired
Hi Jacky,.
First of all we apologise for the late reply,As seems to be problems with the extension display port, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the computer. Please come back incase of any queries.Thank you

Hi Sung,
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
It seems that you are facing problems with Intel Wireless Display. It would be great if you can answer the following questions:
1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?
2. what exactly is the problem that you are facing on the computer?
3. what happens when you try to open the .chm files?
4. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the full and exact error message?
5. What is the brand and model of the computer?
CHM files are Microsoft Compiled HTML Help.
To solve the problem with Intel Wireless Display, I suggest you to update the drivers and check if it helps. You can check the link for more information:

Hi, I have re-installed Windows Vista on my laptop (dell insparon) 1525 and now my wireless does not work. ive tried re installing driver, but it says operating system not supported. I used the disc that came with the computer of the re install and I even tried to install service pack 1. .
original title: Wireless problems after install.I just tried both, the dell is one that says OS not supported"and the intel, it went very well, but my 'network controller' still have a yellow top thing in Device Manager. and I always wireless. any other ideas? Thank you for the help
Question... You have whatever it is listed in the "Network adapters" section of "Device Manager" now?
While ensuring that the exclamation point is not for your wired network device (plausible) or bluetooth (plausible) and you just need to configure your wireless network to connect to * your * wireless network now.
You may have to contact Dell to see why none of their drivers receive your wireless device works on the original operating system, what they included. This could be a hardware problem PURE.
