• Tips for the TCP wait of asynchronous Messages with non-standard expression tanks

  Hi all

  I have a PITA instrument that I need to communicate with in a system of greater control.  This instrument communicates via RS232 to a server running on the PC OEM application.  In order to communicate with the instrument, I have to use the TCP protocol on a specific port on Localhost - So far so good as long the protcol is answer command.

  The problem is that the instrument sends several messages asynchronously of different sizes with a double newline as a tank of termination (there are many CR/LFS all these messages so that they cannot be a MOE) and I am struggling to find a way to manage receive asynchronous messages of variable length with a cusom CHARACTER term. without having simply a fast dedicated for TCP loop reads trying to catch these asynchronous status messages.

  I wish the functions VISA TCP has worked with the local host, given that the properties that can be set to change the chariot of non-standard term.

  Yes, I'll be streaming in my own string buffer and then to choose the messages out of the buffer when you find the stop character.

  A technique to improve performance, rather than reading a single byte at a time is to use the "immediate" on reading TCP mode and use a high value for the "bytes read" - in this way, it will return all of the data that is there without waiting for all the specified bytes or the time-out. He will wait only the full timeout if 0 bytes are received (which you can ignore) - set to a low value such as 100ms.

However, my question is how to manage the code base for both applications. Any have any "best practices", I would like to know your opinion.

  You use a revision control system? This should be a prerequisite...

  How the different versions of the application will be?

  Generally if you have two versions that differ only in terms of having a handful of features disabled in the free version, you must use exactly the same code base. You could even just it for packaging (build command) was the only difference, for example by adding an environment variable in one of them that would be checked at startup to turn paid options.

• 506th PIX, no NAT configuration?

  I'm trying to set up a PIX firewall for devices on a valid IP subnet. It is a 506e, with only two interfaces.

  I can't find an example of config and I was wondering if it's because this isn't a supported configuration.

  Hello

  What you want to achieve, it is possible and very easy to configure. There is no restriction in terms of having no public address on your inside interface. Although you don't want to do any translation that you still may need a static command.

  The minimum config you need would not be nat 0, as some may think, and it works, but only if the PIX cannot be proxy-ARP for the IPS behind the PIX. If the PIX needs proxy-ARP for these addresses, you must configure this way:

  public static 111.111.111.208 (inside, outside)

  111.111.111.208 mask 255.255.255.240

  If you use this command and remove the

  NAT (inside) 0 command it works fine also. The main difference is that, with the static command in place, the PIX not proxy-ARP for the IPS behind your PIX and how nat 0 commands it doesn´t.

  In case you don't need a proxy-ARP you could do with nat 0, but then you have nat 0 on both interfaces to your PIX, so you must:

  NAT (inside) 0 & nat (outside) 0

  Determine if you need proxy-ARP on your border router:

  Is there a route (with the correct next hop) to your edgerouter pointing to 111.111.111.208/28 or your router think it a connected?

  If your router it's a directly connected subnet for some reason (this reason could be that this router is not a classless ip router) then the router wants to send packets to the MAC address and he asks an ARP. In this case the PIX must proxy-ARP.

  Make proxy-ARp is no problem at all for the PIX, cause if you use my first way of configuration, as described previously, then the PIX not proxy-ARP for all addresses in the static command.

  Don t know if this solves your problem, but this could very well be the case.

  Alternatively, you can edit your config here (don't forget to remove the passwords first then) and we can take a look inside.

  Another thing has in my opinion earlier. It could also be the case that your edgerouter has an ARP table that still contains the mappings for the IP addresses which is now behind your firewall. In this case, you need a clear ARP on your border router.

• Export BW less than contrast

  I work with film scans large format (.psd averaged ~ 800 MB) and when I have high contrast scenes my exports out flat and less contrasted. A lot of black and dark tones look more grey when exporting. Exports seem to always amazing, but not what I eventually worked hard to produce in lightroom. I exported as tiff 16-bit, 8-bit tiff, jpeg 100% quality and even as a .psd. I imported all of these exports in photoshop CC and they all have the same problem (none is better than the other in terms of having the original level of contrast in lightroom). I even tried to increase the contrast by about 50 (looks terrible in lightroom), but export is slightly different. What happens here? Any thoughts?

  Not necessarily. You resize the image to export file? In your response #4 the two images in the screenshot are similar. There is a very light brightening the export image. BTW, do you say, IMAGE LEFT: lightroom developmentmodule p. "The screenshot shows the comparison of LR mode, which renders the image file using the overview of the library module and module development one NOT extracted.

  However, the details about the amount of 150, 63 detail panel settings, 8 Luminance and color of 0 are certainly causing loss of black level. This should also be obvious if you switch back and forth between the module development and library to Fit Zoom viewmodule. The overview of the library module will look lighter. You can only adjust the sliders of the detail panel while watching the image in Zoom 1:1 mode. Now try the same - back and the rear view of the image between the library modules and to the point. No correct difference? This is because the view Zoom 1:1, the image is not resized and pixels of noise are not integrated with the pixels of the image (i.e. black light areas) data.

  Tip of the day

  When to adjust the sharpening controls hold down the ALT key to see better what is happening in the image.

• Creative desktop application Cloud is not up-to-date Lr Ps CC 2015

  I agree with the CC photography program, which includes the Photoshop and Lightroom.  However, I also bought Lr 6.0 in April.  When I installed Lr6.0, I had to connect to Adobe and, Yes, Lr CC 2015 has been installed, which was fine with me (I bought the version perpetual license basically like a security blanket, the same reason I keep 6 CS Ps autour).  I'm running a Windows, Win 7 Home Premium machine.

  This morning the creative application cloud informed me that Ps CC 2015 was available, but if I remember, Lr CC 2015 did not update.  I opened Lr and tried to update the help > updates, but that only takes me to the creative cloud app.  So here's my situation about Lr:

  > Lr is the version of 2015 (build 1018573) with Camera Raw 9.0.

  I have installed Ps CC 2015, but ACR did not update, so here is the situation as regards Ps CC 2015:

  > 2015.0.0 release (20150529.5.88 x 64, with the 9.0.0.414 ACR version and of course no dehaze)

  I tried creative cloud signature and signature of back (several times, in fact), as has been suggested in other threads and nothing helped.  Needless to say, I restarted.

  What can I do else?

  I think that I have answered my question and the answer is Yes, I misspoke.  In the directory \\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Installers, for Lr were the only log files, I found:

  As I mentioned in my original post, I agree with the Photography Photoshop program.  I also bought Lr 6.0 and installed.  During installation, I had to enter my Adobe ID number, and when I open Lr in the upper left corner, he identifies himself as Lightroom CC 2015.  But still, two Setup produces logs is clearly for Lr 6.0, i.e., the perpetual license version and not Lr CC.  So my question is now, what version is actually installed on my computer, Lr 6 or Lr CC.  I have my reasons for buying the version of perpetual license (and I'm sure that Adobe is opposed to having my pay twice for Lr), but in terms of having access to the new features, I would like to clearly Lr CC as the version that is installed on my computer.  What should I do to make this happen?

• InDesign Server CC

  We seek to develop a Windows Service application using the InDesign SDK.  With the current version of InDesign CC, we can this because the application must run in user interface mode once a user logged on to Windows.  InDesign Server would meet our needs (the user doesn't have to log Windows to run the application), but it is only available in CS6.  From what we understand, we cannot mix CC InDesign and InDesign Server CS6 as it is impossible to open the INDD file saved with CC with CS6.  There will be a CC of InDesign Server version?

  We will also seek to create another Windows Service application that interacts with PhotoShop.  Do you know if PhotoShop has the same restrictions as InDesign in terms of having to log Windows using the application via the SDK?

  1158 is the default port for Enterprise Manager
  1521 is the default port for Sqlnet.
  Your port number is incorrect.

  Of course, you can create your tables in EM too.

• How to create buttons for each slide in the slide show

  I currently have a slideshow with prev and next buttons.

  but I would add buttons numbered for each slide to image-base.

  Try to think in terms of having reusable symbols.  Think what it through before you try it.

  Use a movieclip instead of a button symbol.  Have a dynamic textfield in this movieclip to the number and value of the textfield object to not be selectable.  Have a picture of this movieclip where it highlighted as one (selected) and the movieclip go there where you are on this slide.

  Use the textfield for the number - assign dynamically so that you don't have to import an image for it.  Use as many of these clips that you need for all your buttons.

  Have functions that reset all buttons at the same time so that when you move to a new slide, selected earlier dates back to mormal... following with setting one newly selected in his "selected" frame

  If my BLOG was static, I could go in and edit the CSS, classes, etc.. With my WordPress BLOG, I'm up in the dark in terms of having useful DW in the edition of the BLOG.

  Welcome to the forum!

  You don't want to modify the GROUP BY clause. which will not only produce the duplicate lines, but this will change the meaning of the HAVING clause.

  Since the WHERE clause ensures there will be only one year and term and HAVING clause guarantees that there will be only on coursecode, you can find what they are using MIN or Max SIMCE he is alone, it doesn't matter what function, MIN, or MAX, you use; for numbers, you can even use AVG or SUM.

  SELECT    studentnumber
  ,       MIN (coursecode)     AS coursecode
  ,       MIN (year)          AS year
  ,       MIN (term)          AS tem
  FROM       registration

  Yes, in my Jeep Cherokee I get where Siri crashes after that you dictate a message. Touch the screen to send it! Do not know if it is intermittent since we just got the car the other day. If we say the message in one sentence, it works. So frustrating.
