• Photosmart HP 6510 will not print black text of emails but ok for photos and web pages

  Suddenly, it stopped printing black text of emails but prints black on web pages and images. I renewed the HP black cartridge and downloaded the HP PHOTOSMART FULL FEATURE AND DRIVERS SOFTWARE today and the problem persists.

  When I print QUALITY REPORT printing any black ink level is shown, but black media are there. very strange.

  Can I please ask your help to fix this annoying problem for me.

• Printer drivers constantly become corrupt

  We have a great mix of Ricoh and HP printers in our environment.  They are all connected by a Server 2007 Enterprise edition Server.  Some of them use the specific print driver for HP printers, and another user a universal print driver, also a mix between PCL 5 and 6.  The largest part of the problem occurring on Windows 7 (we do not have a lot of windows XP and that they use a different print server) and we are just beginning to see some of these issues on Windows 8 (just starting to deploy).  Here's the problem we have:

  1. randomly the HP printer will stop working.  Everything seems to be OK on the server and the PC and it works fine in another PC, but it does not connect to the printer.  You click on print in any application, and he never made anything.  If you come to delete and add the printer you get problem #2. To actually fix it, you must remove the printer, go to print management and remove all HP drivers (on one unit just remove the one associated with the printer did not work Windows 8, but removes all the correction of the problem) and telling it to download again the server printer driver.

  2. the HP printer randomly or in first install begins to print "strange characters" and keep printing until the job is canceled.  Again, we have found that to remove the printer and completely remove print management drivers and reinstall the impression correct that.

  Before we get too far, it's always a good idea to check that your 'secret' button just above your volume controls is not engaged. If you see that the yellow indicator go ahead and switch to the other position to turn it off.

  Alternatively, you can drag up from the bottom of the screen and make sure that the control of "do not disturb" is disabled.

• Photo library becomes corrupted transferring to NTFS?

  My iMac has been slow, so I decided to clear some memory.  I bought a Toshiba 1 TB hard drive, and the file format is NTFS.  I had to use the Tuxera NTFS converter to be able to copy files...  So I basically copied all my files on the hard disk without problem (including the photo library).  After that all copies were complete, I've completely cleaned of my hard drive and reinstalled Mac OS x iMac.  And my library of Photos on the hard drive.  When I tried to open the pictures library, that's when I realized that NTFS is not compatible for applications such as the library of Photos Mac...

  My general question is photo library become corrupted when converted to NTFS?  All my photos are now on the NTFS hard drive, and I don't know if I'll be able to convert it to the Format HFS + Mac on my iMac drive... (Without losing my precious photos)?  Would the software (Tuxera) corrupt Library of Photos when converting to NTFS hard disk format?  I'll be able to convert in HFS + without problem?

  The photo library must only be on a volume formatted Mac OS extended (logged) - any other format does not work

  We are having a problem with PDFs become corrupted when sent by iPhone users in our Exchange 2013 environment.

  The issue occurs intermittently, and whenever it happens, it is determined that the corrupt PDF attachment was sent from an iPhone (seems to be linked to iOS 9.3.x)

  When a PC user tries to open the PDF file, receive an error message "Acrobat cannot open 'PDFname' because it is not a type of supported file or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an attachment to e-mail and has not been correctly decoded.)"

  The file is readable from an iPhone or from the Mac OS x native Viewer (does not open on Mac Adobe either).

  Curiously, the damaged PDF files CAN be repaired by opening the PDF said on a Mac using the native application "Preview" and "save under" from there. The resulting PDF file can then be opened to PC, Mac, Adobe, etc...

  I really want to make sure you that Apple is aware of this problem and is working to patch. It seems to be an iOS problem and not an Exchange problem.

  Export your IE Favorites to an HTML file, and then import it into Firefox. If you have questions more do not hesitate to ask.

  I have the RV082 router and I'm having a strange problem.

  When I try and download files or applications, my computer happens to expire during the download and unexpectedly farm or the file that I am trying to download is corrupted.  I have never seen anything like this before.  I spent the time on the phone with my ISP and they said this isn't a problem on their end.  I am able to browse the internet without any problem.  I just have problems downloading stuff.

  I have reproduced this problem on other computers on my network.  If it is not isolated to my computer.  that tells me that there must be something wrong with the router.

  Is this a problem with my router settings?

  It's really weird. I suggest to manipulate the MTU of the RV082 section if this will solve the problem. Follow this link to determine the correct MTU size for router:

  I have exactly the same problem. I am running Windows 8 Pro & my CC (2014) Photoshop was not correctly updated in the month. I get the same error code U43M1D204 saying that the download is corrupted. I did everything above. Uninstallation of Photoshop and put it back in place does no good either. I'm too lazy to start a new thread, just thought that I would know that people still definitely have this problem.

  After looking into the problem, the issue was one of our firewalls (FortiGate) was detect a Trojan horse in the file update and just stop causing a "corrupted file".

  PJBarbour I would recommend working with your IT Department to solve your network problems.  Aid and the trial license is only a workaround and do not solve the root cause to be able to download the Adobe Application Manager software.

  There are other offers available currently in the creative cloud, i.e. Adobe Edge and Lightroom, you need to download and install using the Adobe Application Manager to the licensed software.
