TextArea maximumLength property is not known?

I am trying to use a text box and need to limit the length of the text entered.

According to the docs, there a maximumLength property that does exactly what I need, unfortunately try to use this in QML says it is an unknown property.

Has anyone used this successfully?  Change of name/docs wrong or simply not exposed to QML correctly from C++?

I think that this feature has been delayed to gold SDK (see the roadmap of the Cascades https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/download/roadmap/)

  • Inclination property does not refresh

    Hi all

    I have this problem with cc animate on PC, win 7 (it's also happens in older versions of flash)

    Basically if I select a chart and Flip Horizontal (Fig 1), the Committee "transform" show me "180" in the property "skew" (photo 2).

    180_1.JPG

    180_2.JPG

    But if I deselect (photo 3) and select it again (photo 4), the "skew" property does not show me any value. But I know that the value must be "180".

    180_3.JPG

    180_4.JPG

    In order to 'see' the good value, I need to manually select the offset box, and it seems good value (PHOTO 5).

    180_5.jpg

    If I try to select the object 10 times, only 2 times he gave me the value, all other attempts gave me a 0.0 or nothing

    It is very annoying, because I often work on files created by me, so I can not go on each item and check manually IF is returned or not.

    I'm working on different pc and it happened also in older versions, so I know not isn't an installation problem.

    Can anyone help me understand why this has happened? and or solution for this?

    Thank you

    Luca

    Hi Luca,

    Thanks for the detailed report. Will review and update you as soon as we get a fix. It seems that this only occurs if you select an object, if any other object/form is already selected for example, does not produce when you move the selection of an object to another. You can use this workaround until it's resolved.

    Thank you!

    var lockclass04Size = "small";

    var lockclass04Width = lockclass04.width;

    var lockclass04Height = lockclass04.height;

    var lockclass04X = lockclass04.x;

    var lockclass04Y = lockclass04.y;

    function biglockclass04(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    If (lockclass04Size == 'small') {}

    lockclass04Size = "large";

    lockclass04. Width = 288.25.

    lockclass04. Height = 384.35.

    lockclass04.x = 212.35;

    lockclass04.y = 45.20;

    } else {}

    lockclass04Size = "small";

    lockclass04. Width = lockclass04Width;

    lockclass04. Height = lockclass04Height;

    lockclass04.x = lockclass04X;

    lockclass04.y = lockclass04Y;

    }

    }

    Thank you!

    Your problem starts at the line...

    var lockclass01:Sound = new LockClass01();

    You set as a sound object.  But then, you try to treat it as if it was a display of form obf object and try to access properties that are reelated to display objects such as width, height, x, y

    var lockclass01Width = lockclass01.width;

    var lockclass01Height = lockclass01.height;

    var lockclass01X = lockclass01.x;

    var lockclass01Y = lockclass01.y;

    function biglockclass01(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    If (lockclass01Size == 'small') {}

    lockclass01Size = "large";

    lockclass01.width = 288.25;

    lockclass01. Height = 384.35.

    lockclass01.x = 212.35;

    lockclass01.y = 45.20;

    } else {}

    lockclass01Size = "small";

    lockclass01. Width = lockclass01Width;

    lockclass01. Height = lockclass01Height;

    lockclass01.x = lockclass01X;

    lockclass01.y = lockclass01Y;

    Then you probably need to get rid to declare it as a sound object if there isa not.

  • Border-radius property is not recognized in CS5

    I just started using dreamweaver and css border-radius property does not work for me. It does not appear in the list, and he says it's an "invalid" property when I type in manually. Any help? Note: I use CS5, CS5.5 not as far as I can tell.

    Thanks in advance!

    I do not think that CS5 supports default CSS3 (I know that CS4 doesn't have).

    Just put in hand in the source, do not forget the specific prefixes of provider for older browsers...

    -moz-border-radius (firefox)

    -o-border-radius (opera)

    -webkit-border-radius (chrome/safari)
