The 70 d is significantly better than the 7 d in the management of the high ISO situations?

I have a 6 d and it really spoiled me with its low noise high ISO capabilities. I wonder if the 70 d is much better than my 7 d when it comes to managing high ISO. It has the same sensor as the 6 d and I really like this display on D 70.

It is not "clearly" better - you will not see the difference that you can with the 6 d and higher models.

  • The Vista is better than Windows XP Home edition?

    Hello

I installed vista, but is not supported & is unlikely to be the main programs I want to use with it! Is it because Vista is new, or Windows XP Home edition (which he runs under) is a better OS.

I read on the forum that WXP can be used in another partition. This would cause a problem? How would be affected other things like access to internet or e-mail if I used it in a partition?

Need help please, I'm lost and want to know the best thing to do.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Vista should be better than XP, but now many 3rd-party devices and programs are not compatible with Vista and therefore it s advisable to use two BONES; XP and Vista.
You can install the two OS s separately on two partitions.
    This should work.

With regard to the reception of the email: Please check where the e-mails are stored.
Especially as Outlook e-mail applications use a same folder of installation on the partition for saving e-mail. But the path can be changed in the settings somewhere.

A few words about Vista. As you probably n t know the needs of Vista a lot more material resources such as other early BONE. You will need a really fast and high performance for laptop or desktop PC to use all the features of Vista. I'm talking about the Aero glass effects, etc.

  • Is Digital Zoom precision on the Nex 5N and al better than simply cropping in post-production?

The main question in the subject line. If the answer is 'no', what is the new clear Image Zoom. It provides nothing that I can't do post-production with cropping?

If previous digital zoom and turn off zoom of the image are not better than cropping, software like The Gimp would be sufficient, or would I need pro-level photo editing software?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi lporrel,

As the camera will only m the image zoomed in and you might get a correct exposure for this small part of the image, this is a good option to use the digital zoom.

When you use the digital precision, Zoom auto focus feature works with priority on and around the central region.

While in the cropping a picture, its quality will remain identical to the original image, but the size will be smaller.

  • iMovie dealt with only 4 k better than the first. I got lost? Help

I'm trying to see if I'm doing something wrong or missing something. I have 4 k 3840 x 2160 footage recorded on my iPhone that I have downloaded on my i7 3.5 ghz quad core, nvidia 1070, 6 GB ram, ssd, pc on Adobe and without using a proxy, I could not change the images. The raw 4 k has been trolling and freezing and would not play even at 1/8 res. OK for fun, I imported the images into iMovie (not CPF) on my old 2012 4 GB of ram, i5 2.5 ghz MacBook and it instantly imported and washing and playback was flawless. I'm lost. How is it. I didn't choose any encoding in iMovie. Is there some choices I select first or something. Also I know that it's the Adobe forum and I write for someone who is familiar with both platforms that I am trying to get my PC and first to work like the move

I don't know anything about it on Imovie... another that he is not a pro NLE. And some of the video apps fans are specially designed to work with the VFR, that most of the pro NLE are not.

Many 'film amateur' apps take a lot less computing power to work, as... Well... they are far away as complex and big a program. Don't want not to say that they are not very good for what they are designed to do, only that they have a different fill niche.

The standard to get images of the iPhone in PrPro, recommendation is to use the free program of handbrake to convert the VFR in CFR iPhone and then import them into PrPro.

    Handbrake download page: https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php

And no, I would not recommend trying to import VFR and PrPro do proxies on ingestion... convert to the CFR before import, or use other applications to change.

IMovie can work with this phone better than PrPro images, but... There's a hell of a lot of things PrPro can do that Imovie can not even dream of. If you need those, then your application PrPro. If not, well...

I'd take a peek at Photoshop or Illustrator.

Photoshop is a pixel based image editing program that is well suited for creating and editing digital images, especially photographs.

Illustrator is a vector program that is great if you want to create vector graphics based that you can scale up without loss of resolution, for example, a logo.

What you choose really depends on your needs and knowledge if you create bitmap images or vector.

  • Why the LR5 catalog is better than PES 12 organizing?

    Jim

I started using a trial version of the LR5.

I've been a regular user of the different versions of the EP over the years.

In general, I was pleased by the Organizer, & have various tags nested in each other.

I've never had a problem with it being unstable, and can usually find what I'm looking for.

(provided that I have correctly tagged it in the first place :-))

My first impression of the LR5 catalog is that it is not as intuitive.

I searched online for how to install the catalog & most of the discussion relates to catalogues how to have. -J' have already made that decision - just one:

So?  What are the features I am missing in the LR5 catalog that make it better than the elements Organizer?

    What do you think?

I am also a happy user of the Organizer, but I also use LR 4.4.

What I find interesting in LR:

-huge amount of customization possible and options (if you need it...)

-Ability to handle JPEG files as well as the raws (the Organizer doesn't let you open JPEGs in acr,)

-Smart ways to manage variants without copying files (virtual copies)

    -The most advanced metadata management

    -possibility to merge catalogs

-Much more supported by Adobe and user forums

-Advanced options in the output in the latest versions

What can be the subject of a debate, it's the difficulty of the learning curve, as well as the "robustness" of the software. The organizer has riddled many bugs (there were already several years before LR). The problem is that after having much more options makes more complex LR. For example, the database has three times the number of tables. It follows that LR forums are full of complaints about bugs or missing features... just because it's too rich and trying to satisfy the needs of each.

Several cases of problems with the Organizer are related to the function of backup that backs up the images and catalogs. Catalogues only backup LR. Backup of images is your responsibility. If you have problems, it isn't for lack of LR, it's yours.

I can't find a post I made to show the possible benefits of the Organizer, but it was just for fun.

    Hello

I love firefox videos esp. Much better than the internet explore and chrome. Very stable and smooth. He played very well and then crashed. I thought it might be a few programs I uninstalled as shockwave who played hell with my computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla firefox and adobe flash player, but still could not play videos you tube, or golf revolution, etc. I took a screenshot, but I do not see an attachment to send you. It says I have to update adobe flash player or adobe flash player is required for video playback, which I have already done several times but it still doesn't appear in my firefox plugins. • What are Service Packs? Can I upgrade to Service Pack 2 for free? If yes how? If I update it will help or hinder my system? Any pack is better than another?

Windows Vista Service Pack (basic information)

    Hello

I know this may seem a simple/stupid question, but I do not understand what are "Service Packs".  I don't know much about computers.

I have restored my laptop to the factory setting today and I reinstall my programs again.  I am trying to install a new program as well (Autodesk Inventor 2012).  The installation says I can't because I need Service Pack 2 and I only have Microsoft Vista Home Premium (Version: 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001).

What are Service Packs?  Can I upgrade to Service Pack 2 for free?  If yes how?  If I update it will help or hinder my system?  Any pack is better than another?

Thanks for the information and assistance that you can give.

    AstoriaBoro

You can install Service Pack 2 very simply - go to Windows Update and check for new updates - then install all available updates.

Once they are complete, return again (after a reboot) and do the same thing - repeat until there are no left.

Along the way you will be installed Service pack 2 :)

  • Why is windows 7 better than professional?

I was wondering why is windows 7 better than professional, because I want to see what features ultimate has this professional is not

Ultimate has some extra multimedia features, such as Windows Media Center.  It also has the ability to run multiple languages, I think. In addition, there is not much difference.  And if you do not need to connect to a domain, home edition Premium you will probably give everything that you need and want (and more).

  • What is the advantage of the high water line?

    Hello

When I remove the enormous data in table then the high water mark always on the same position.

    1. then deleted block still on the data file then why? I understand that these blocks is not used and it is empty so when he used?

2-why oracle do not recover these block when automatically delete us the records? and we must do to help shrink the command?

3 - Why before retractable data we must allow movement of line? What is the meaning of movement of the line. and why it is disable by default, no impact on performance so afford him?

    4. i try to reduce and remove the space allocation for some gigantic data, but still tablespace free space is always the same, does that mean?

    Thank you

    (1) the deleted data are always in the data file, because it is the least expensive way to implement a delete.  It is much faster to just things like free brand rather than incur the cost of, say, block formatting when the last line is deleted.  Most of the time, you remove one or two lines - it would be unwise to undergo as a load whenever you delete a few lines.  Free blocks will be used during the insertion of subsequent data (or during subsequent updates increase the size of existing lines and have to migrate to the new blocks).

    (2) because the shrinkage of the segment is expensive.  If you did that every time that you deleted a single line, deletions would be orders of magnitude more expensive than they are today.

    (3) because the shrinkage of the segment means that you physically move potentially every row in the database.  From a functional point of view, this amounts to potentially remove all the ranks of the block in which it is and moving it to a different physical location at the 'head' of the segment so that all free space is at the "tail" of the segment and can be released.  Of course, it is unlikely that all ranks have actually be removed and reinserted.  But a significant fraction of them.  Among other things, this will change ROWID line that would break any code that was waiting for the ROWID remains constant, this is why you need to activate the movement of the line.

    (4) you must show us exactly what you are doing (the exact series of commands that you run, how you measure the free space, etc.).  If you just insert roughly the same amount of data in the table that you deleted over time, shrinkage of the segment is unlikely to be useful.  From the point of view of application performance, for example, you only care about high tide if you perform a full scan of the table.  But it is rarely wise to write code that is to do a full scan of a table that is large enough so that you can delete a 'huge' of data in the table number.
