  Well, the new generation of portable and battery allows to use the battery and the power adapter at the same time.

  So my laptop is connected to the power supply and the battery is still connected.
  It has no negative influence on the performance of the battery. But you should know that there is a limit of battery charge.
  After that all 500times completely procedures of load and discharge, the battery will slowly discharge performance. This is nothing unusual.

  I find, for starters, I'm perhaps being too "wordy" in my descriptions to images. I wonder if I might be better to use simple as words: sky, clouds, birds, etc...

  The problem comes when I have birds for subjects and some are "bird in flight" or "Red winged Blackbird in flight" and then it starts to be too verbose.

  I'm afraid I won't have complete and accurate research of all available items, if I do not stick to the simple one word keywords.

  Keywords are hierarchical. You can have a keyword of the bird, then a keyword under Carouge to epaulettes (right click on the bird, select 'create one inside the Keyword tag...) (''), another subsidiary keyword under the bird (not under Red winged blackbird) 'in flight' and so on.

  When you want to find red winged Blackbirds in the air, you can do so via the filter bar. Select metadata, select keyword Red Winged Blackbird, in the next column, select keyword and then choose 'in flight' and voila, there's your red-winged Blackbirds in the air (but not those who do not have the keyword 'In Flight')

  Who would have thought that the red winged Blackbirds could do?

  As a general rule, don't get too specific not in keywords. Use several keywords rather than a keyword that is full of details, as I described above.

  In the past whenever I've had to deal with XML, I had an XSD that I could use to marshal the XML in a bean. But now I have to communicate to an API that returns XML that have no any XSD or other type of document description XML.
  
  I was going to just to use string mute and corresponding analysis. Is there a better way to deal with this? Is there like a tool or library that will be the input XML ICD and put it in a container that is widespread with cards and such that I can pull the data I want?

  So what stops you to create your own XSD?

  The basic structure you need to analyze and process the data anyway. So why not simply capture the structure you need in an XSD, and then use this XSD the same way you have always (e.g. XMLBeans or other).

  If you are looking for on the net you can find some freeware libraries that can create a basic XSD from an XML doc. More complete example XML is the best work they can do. Use one of those to get the first draft of a XSD and then to embellish it.

  You can also use Apache Commons Digester to only have access to the raw XML data.

  I'm working on an application that retrieves the XML data and uses a DataGrid to display their (the very standard way).
  When a user selects a row in the DataGrid, I want to show more information in another panel - but not in a Datagrid (regarding only ONE item), but in simple controls such as labels or text boxes.
  This information is also stored in the XML data source, but it is not displayed in the DataGrid control.
  
  I think I'm pretty confused at this point, I think there must be a way easy and smart to do that, but I have not tried.
  I rly want to avoid to "manually" using SOMETHING like "label.text = xmlSource. ....'

  Captivate has many options for adding audio.  But each of the different options are designed to meet a different design solution.

  Audio fixation to a button would be used when you want an audio clip to play when the button is clicked.  So in this case, you set the event on the success of the button to perform an action to play Audio.  (If you attach the audio object button itself then the audio would play as soon as the button has become visible on the timeline and not when it was activated.)

  My Situation 1: I have a folder with imported RAW images. Now, I have them edited in Camera Raw and PSE (15). I have save the DSP. I want to keep the RAW format as I kept the negatives of the analog era. Is it possible to automatically hide the RAW files, when there is a PSD of this same image file? What is your approach to not see only one photo when you load your photos.

  My Situation 2: import a JPG from a phone or my old camera before that I had a camera with RAW function. I want to keep the original as a negativ, too. Same as Situation 1, but the two photos are JPG.

  My solution 1: manually hide the photos I want to have hidden.

  My wish 1: a filter like "If DSP is raw hide" would work- but I'm not. The filter can distinguish the same files with the name of the file. I'll keep the same thing, but not the file extension

  My wish 2: a filter that would hide the original or longer version of a file: example: If name_1.jpg exists hide name.jpg, if name_2.jpg exists name_1.jpg hide (too). If I want to compare I'll always show hidden files.

  I'm curious to know how you do it.

  The solution is to use 'version '.

  In the pdf file, page 77 help file:

  The result is that the source file is hidden under the "latest", which can be any format like psd or jpeg.

  You create a 'set of version' when you save the editor, check the box save in version together.

  Note that you can better see if you have version sets in the miniature of the display space if you switch to "detailed" mode (shortcut Ctrl D).

  You can manage the sets of version to choose what version is displayed at the top.

  If you already have the raws and not in version PDF files together, you always have the choice of 'stack' files to display that you prefer.

  To stack more easily, you can use the option to 'suggest automatically stacks' when you right click on a batch of miniatures.

I want the graphic to move with the text, when there is text re-flow as the entire book is connected and will move on each page, when I make changes. The term "design online" gave no result on a search on these forums, so I guess that this term, days - manufacture by Pagemaker and Quark days is no longer a valid condition.
