  The items removed from your computer folder is under your control.  You can remove yourself if you want, but they are now independent of the server.  That's if you are referring to a POP3 account.  Unfortunately, I'm not experienced with IMAP accounts and so if this refers to such, I can't help more.  But if its POP3, what will happen is you will continue to download the messages to the phone and the computer, and then when the computer sees all messages on the server are more than 5 days, then it will tell the server to remove these messages from the server.  But the messages will remain on your computer and phone, unless you delete them.

  The checkmarls are simple images. If you to scale to the top of the box or look in a higher magnification, it seems of course fuzzy.

  You can replace the checkmarks by graphic of your choice (perhaps scalable SVG)
