The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected) and I tried EVERY DIFFICULTY shown in these discussions. Why used it let me not open a session?

I get the browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected) no matter what I do on yahoo. Help.
I have yahoo in my cookies 'allow' option always. I accept third-party cookies is selected. I tried to remove the "prefs" file in my profile troubleshooting folder and nothing works. Yet, I can log on using IE without any problem. I hate IE and want to use FF. Is there any solution for this or what?

Other info. I use adblocker more, but have this option disabled on yahoo.com. That did not work. I also use trackblocker of private lifestyle choices and better privacy extensions.

A picture of all my files in my troubleshooting user profile is attached.

You can not attach a screenshot in the first row who starts a thread, but you can do it in subsequent responses.

This problem may be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
  • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

If the deletion of cookies did not help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies has been corrupted.

  • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookies as cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

Using "Forget this Site" will delete all data stored in Firefox in this area as bookmarks, cookies, words of past, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain you don't want to lose then check that back up these data or make a comment.

You can't recover from this "forget" unless you have a backup of the files involved.

It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.
