The buffer is smaller than the specified size.

Has done a session of webniar via GoToWebinar, that has been saved as a Windows Media audio/video file. It has been downloaded to my desktop without problem, and the original file plays on Windows Media player. I need to send the session recorded with colleagues across the Canada. It's a big file to 55.5 MB, I usually use YouSendIt.com and have done so successfully with the same type of files in the recent past. This time, when I send the file and download it via YouSendIt, it records on my desk in a 55.5 MB file with the correct file name, but when I try to open this file, I get an error message: "the buffer is smaller than the specified size. Any ideas on what may be the problem. How this can be solved?

Best regards

Deborah

  • Ban of resizing smaller than a certain size of window

    I was wondering if anyone has any useful ideas on the following problem:

    I have a scene with a certain initial size. Resizing is allowed, however in some dimensions the application becomes unusable because everything cannot be displayed (think of an image that should be displayed in a window smaller than the image).

    import java.io.IOException;

        public void start(Stage primaryStage) {
            try {
                Image img = new Image( getClass().getResource("kajak4_small.png").openStream());
                ImageView imgView = new ImageView(img);

                StackPane root = new StackPane();
                root.getChildren().add(imgView);

                Scene scene = new Scene(root, 190, 163);

                primaryStage.setTitle("Force minimal size");
                primaryStage.setScene(scene);
                primaryStage.show();
            } catch (IOException ex) {
                Logger.getLogger(ForceMinSize.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);

    Resizing of components to match the size isn't an option. As the size of the step properties are read-only, I can only receive messages when below the size threshold, but cannot do anything about it. The only alternative I can see is disabling resize and allow only the original size (configurable) and full screen.

    primaryStage.setMinWidth(minWidth);
    primaryStage.setMinHeight(minHeigth);

  • Crop the optimum size of the static image

    I was going to ask "What is the optimal size for images created in Photoshop for use in the videos?" but it looks like my question is answered https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1384976 et https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/450798

    However, much of what he talks about which resembles a fairly complex/lengthy process - is actually a bit more than my head - and I was wondering if it is possible to cut corners without sacrificing quality as well.

    For example, imagine a video that features enough base png and jpg, including drawings in black and white simple and some images with many colors but not works of art. If I just use 600 pixels default width for the creation of my images before importing them into Premier Pro, will likely look okay?

    If an image does not appear if hot, I could just remove the Prime Minister, then re-create it in Photoshop with more bandwidth and reimport it in first, right?

    Thank you.

    I would NOT make images smaller than my video size of the image. So if you get a normal high definition 1920 x 1080 video, I would like to make this size of pixels, either them a doubling of that. If you double them, you can zoom in and evolve without pixellisant.

    If you take a PNG side long 600 pixels and put on a timeline of 1080, is not going to look so good...

  • new cDAQ-9178 chassis was smaller than the cDAQ-9172 old buffer?

    Digital waveform features:

    Waveform acquisition (DI) FIFO for cDAQ-9172: 2047 samples

    Waveform acquisition (DI) FIFO for cDAQ-9178: 127 samples per slot

    This means that the new HW (9178) has a much smaller than the old buffer (9172)!

    I want to run a correlation over generation/acquisition at 2 MHz with 2000 samples. Does this mean that the new chassis will not be able to acquire the whole of the data (I use a NI 9401 module inside the chassis)?

    FIFO sizes are misleading and not a true indicator of the chassis supporting the streaming is not the single buffer.  We did some tests comparing the latest and cDAQ-9172 chassis.  You will not notice the difference, especially with your application to a finished task of 2 000 samples at 2 MHz.  With 2 000 samples, you can run your DI task on your chassis cDAQ-9178 at 10 MHz if you wanted without problem (don't try with continuous or even finished tasks).

    The only time where the FIFO size really comes into play is when you run a primary task at high rates, say > 5 MHz, even if it is system dependent.  At these speeds a FIFO that is deeper 2 000 samples you buy only tens or hundreds of additional microseconds when Windows jitter is measured in milliseconds.

    I would be very surprised if there is a practical application that worked on a cDAQ-9172 chassis which did not work on newer USB cDAQ chassis.

  • The screen is smaller than the size of the screen. Help!

    I hit a button on an accident (CTRL with Shift or CTRL with something else) and the screen went black. Now, the screen size is much much smaller than the size of the screen. There is a good inch margin 2 right and left. How can I return the screen to normal size (to match the screen)?

    Hi Rhamad,

    Thank you for visiting Windows Vista Microsoft answers forum.

    Your monitor settings have been changed, and you must set its value by default. To set the default settings screen, you must use the buttons near the power of the monitor buttons. You can take the help of the manufacturer of your computer to do or if any manual was provided with the computer then you can refer to that as well.

    You also try to open graphics settings and change the display settings.

    To change the display settings, follow the steps below:

    1. the right in the empty space on the desktop and select Properties.

    2. click on the settings tab.

    3. click on advanced.

    4. click on the tab on your computer graphics card.

    5. you will need to make changes in the advanced settings under display settings.

    Alternatively, you can perform a system restore to a date when the display settings were normal.

    To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

    4. click on finish.

  • Problem w / window size is smaller than the size of the screen

    I recently had an automatic installation of Vista sp.  Don't know what version/sp.  After restarting my laptop, the window size is now smaller than the window size of the screen.  It looks like HD video with a 1 1/2 in. vertical black band on the left and right side of the screen.  How can I fix it?

    Hello

    Have you tried to adjust the resolution in the settings of the Control Panel/customize / display? If there is only limited adjustments available, you will probably need to reinstall or update your graphics card driver. This is best done with a download of the manufacturer of the device, not windows update. • Configurator error 'the hard size in the first string of RAID must be smaller than the drive selected in the second Raid channel'

    Hello, I hope this is the forum for this question rigth.

    I am trying to set up a new T330 for one of our customers, and I want to use a Raid 1 + Raid 1 configuration. First raid for the operating system and daily backups, second raid for a database.

    I tried the C15c configuration, but I always get the error "the size of the hard drive in the first RAID channel must be smaller than the selected hard drive in the second Raid channel".

    Is it really necessary to buy an SSD that is bigger than the HD used in the first Raid? The DSS may be relatively low, but I need more space for the backup.

    Is there an alternative solution to this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Stefan

    Yes. In fact, you can mix drive types on the SAME channel... they just cannot be mixed in the same virtual disk (table).

    How to resize the print size of an item within my PDF to multiple pages? For example a receipt or another image that can scan in bigger or smaller than my 8.5 x 11 Bill?

    Hello

    In the print dialog box, you would get options to resize your document.

    Try them and see if that helps.

    Once you choose the print option, it would give options to change the size of the page you need.

    Please check and see if it suits you or not.

  • Why is my file size "Combined PDF" smaller than the original files?

    Hello!

    I try to combine two individual PDF files into a single PDF file. Each file is 32 MB, but when I use acrobat to combine, the newly created "combined" file is only 19 MB. I think I took the necessary steps to ensure no degradation that happens (e.g. large selection size of the file in the Panel options), but I'm still puzzled as to how the two files can be set up as one and be smaller than the two separate files with out any compression. What Miss me?

    Thanks in advance!

    When you combine a file, it performs an operation of "save under".  This rewrites all the PDF object in the single file and is supposed to clean the file, while the single files may have had several saves which when you look at the inner workings of the PDF file simply add at the end of the file.  In other words, you get a file more cleanly written and optimized is also recorded for a quick display of Web pages.

  • font size in the program "Mail" smaller than it should be

    I remember precisely change the font size of the 11, but why it looks like it is a screen size 9 in the mail 'new message '? So when I get a response and read it on my phone, the police looks like a size 11 should be.  Why is tiny on the screen of the new mobile message?  Also, I had an interview hiring and in my email thank you, I used the size 11 new and the guy came back and said it was small and consider making a larger font in the future.  Needless to say, I am probably not work.  It was last week, but still.  What is the problem here?  It happens to someone else?  Thanks if anyone can help.

    In mail preferences, fonts, and colors. You have the different boxes to display different fonts and size. When you click on select, you'll see a slider on the right that allows you to change the size. As you do that it shows what is happening in the box next to what you have selected, which gives an idea of how it will look. Also in Formate of mail, you can select "BOLD" or big or small.

    Or, if all is smaller, not only the font size:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

    Change the screen resolution

    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

    For example, 640 × 480 is a lower screen resolution, and 1600 × 1200 is higher. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768. LCD monitors can better support the higher resolutions. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.

    Text and images are sharper and smaller at high screen resolutions
    Text is larger and easier to read at low screen resolutions, but images are rasterized and number of items adapted to the screen
    1. Open display settings by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, clickingPersonalization and then clicking display settings.

    2. Under resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution, then clickApply.

    Notes

    • When you change the screen resolution, it affects all users who log on the computer.

    • When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it will not support, the screen will go black for a few seconds while the monitor returns to the original resolution

    See you soon.
