The connections to use

Hello

I recently bought a Mac Pro (end 2013) to a friend.  I am now running Windows via Bootcamp 10 and buy two of these Dell Ultrasharps U2515H

http://www.warehouse1.com.au/ePages/shop.SF/secbecdbcd543/?ObjectPath=/shops/war products/ehouse1/000000000002951727

These are non-thunderbolt screens and are 2560 x 1440

Could someone please advise me on which are the best video connections/ports to connect these are?

Thank you

Ports and interfaces
Integrated USB hub Yes
Version of USB hub USB 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1)
USB ports downstream Type amount has 5
DVI port NO.
HDMI ports quantity 2
DisplayPorts quantity 1
Mini DisplayPorts quantity 1
Audio output Yes
AC (power) in Yes

If you need two cables, Mini DisplayPort / Mini DisplayPort (or [size] DisplayPort / Mini DisplayPort if these are cheaper).

Which will cause the load down your hardware and you get the best resolution with less noise.

You plug the ThunderBolt Mini DisplayPort end ports and they pick up the video subset that they need, a bolt of lightning regular cable is much more expensive and will not work.

Sometims you can disconnect & connect internet and reconnect.  My pad on the same system I have no problem. Please help, what is the problem.

    Hello

    Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    This problem may occur because of driver or network connection settings.

    Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Refer to the steps in the following Microsoft article and check if that helps.

    How can I troubleshoot network card?

    Method 2:

    This problem can occur if authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network checkbox is enabled. If this box is checked, but there is no server to authenticate the connection is interrupted. If you turn on the wireless network connection, it disconnects again after a short period.

    To disable authentication IEEE 802. 1 X, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl, and then press ENTER.

    b. right click on your wireless network connection, then click Properties.

    c. click the wireless networks tab.

    d. under preferred networks, click your wireless network, and then click Properties.

    e. click on the Authentication tab, click to clear the authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network check box and then click OK twice.

    Method 3:

    I suggest that you do the following and check if it helps.

    a. click "Start", enter "NCPA. CPL"(without the quotes) and press ENTER.

    b. right-click on the connection you use for the local connection, and then click "Properties".

    c. Click to select 'Protocol Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' and then click 'properties '.

    d. in the Internet Protocol window, we will change the "Preferred DNS server" to 208.67.222.222

    e. click 'OK' twice to complete the change.

    Hope that the information provided is useful.

  • oci_close does not release the connection when you use DRCP

    Hi all

    We are currently testing the deployment of DRCP with 11g. I have the setup of this (to my knowledge), but I am facing a problem. Oci_close call does not seem to release the connection to the pool, because I expect and that is why we see similar behavior as we receive without using the DRCP.

    Our facility is using two instances of CCR 11.1.0.6.0 running, I use PHP 5.1.6 with installed from PECL oci8 1.3.4. DRCP pool is configured and launched, each with 100 servers max.

    When the Web server is idle, well, it looks like slow motion.

    SQL > SELECT INST_ID select, NUM_BUSY_SERVERS OF SGS$ CPOOL_STATS;

    INST_ID SELECT NUM_BUSY_SERVERS
    ---------- ----------------
    1 0
    2 0

    The script is as simple as that:

    <? PHP
    $c is oci_pconnect ('scott', 'tiger', 'IWPPOOLED');.
    $s = oci_parse ($c, ' select * from emp');
    $r = oci_execute ($s, OCI_DEFAULT);
    oci_close ($c);
    Sleep (30);
    ? >

    What I expected, it's that the script would be to connect to the pool, doing work for a little while and then release the connection for use by other scripts.

    But after I point the browser to the script, I get a 30 seconds time of loading (as expected) but the server is busy all the time, like this:

    SQL > SELECT INST_ID select, NUM_BUSY_SERVERS OF SGS$ CPOOL_STATS;

    INST_ID SELECT NUM_BUSY_SERVERS
    ---------- ----------------
    1 0
    2 1

    After 30 seconds of sleep, he is released and busy servers are at 0.

    If I load the server with ab using 256 connections:

    AB - n 1000000 - c 256 k - http://mywebserver/ocitest.php

    the pool is at the maximum and links are at a standstill:

    SQL > SELECT INST_ID select, NUM_BUSY_SERVERS OF SGS$ CPOOL_STATS;

    INST_ID SELECT NUM_BUSY_SERVERS
    ---------- ----------------
    1 95
    2 95

    My config this service network is the following:

    Don't forget to use oci_free_statement ($s); See "Closing Oracle Connections" in the Underground PHP and Oracle manual. (I was just simplify this example today for the next version of the manual).

    You can also see the "dedicated optimization", where a server pooled in a non-maxed-out pool is retained (except if needed by another process PHP) assuming that the initial process of PHP can become active again. See http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/php/pdf/php-scalability-ha-twp.pdf

    We are having a problem with the connection to weblogic pool. Our web application is based on the Spring Framework, deploy to Weblogic using the data source to connect to Oracle. We use a duration of 1 min and max setting of connection pool 15 on weblogic. But the problem that we face is that the pool does not manage any connection as a pool. Each request makes a new connection to the Oracle server and right closed within a few seconds of connection. The number of new connections could be easily up to more than 100 within 10 minutes.

    Kind regards

    Hello

    I don't know, I got your question right, but I'll try to find a solution anyway.

    If I close the CMD, I lose the connection, and I have to reconfigure again.

    This is what happens when a shell is complete - all related processes will be stopped as well. However, if you have an apex - config.xml in your apex.home you should not have to set up your listener APEX every time your departure, but it would be to reuse an existing configuration.

    If I open APEX locally, I mean using the shortcut 'Get Started of Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition', then I lose the connection that uses the default port for the listener, it is 8080.

    Now, if you have XE on the (local) computer running while you have your APEX listener running in stand-alone mode, you probably have a port conflict: by default, both APEX listener in stand-alone mode and built-in PL/SQL gateway (EPG) use port 8080. The EPG is enabled as a web server for APEX in XE after a new installation, the APEX listener would be an alternative in this case. You can stop the EPG, or reconfigure a server two web to use a different port, if you want them are parallel.
    To change the port used by the auditor of the APEX in stand-alone mode, you just add another parameter to the commissioning: -Dapex.port = 8888 and you're done.
    To change the port used by the EPG, connect as sys and run the following

    EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8888);
    COMMIT;

    If you want to disable the EPG, simply on the port * 0 *.

    After that I configured the listener that I got this message on the CMD

    That's what it should look like.
    No, your subject is 'lose the connection when the CMD closing', I guess you're looking for an alternative solution. You can run the listener APEX as a Windows service, even in stand-alone mode. To do this, you create a batch file, for example

    %JAVA_HOME%\java -Dapex.home=D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\_home -Dapex.images=D:\oracle\apex_4_0_2\images -Dapex.port=8888 -jar D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\apex_listener.1.1.2.131.15.23\apex.war >>D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\apex_listener.1.1.2.131.15.23\my_apex_listener.log 2>&1

    Note that you will need to set JAVA_HOME as property system or replace the call with the absolute path to your JDK or make sure that the JDK is in your PATH variable.
    Of course, you can and should change the directories of other institutions to adapt to your system.
    Then, create a Windows service, for example [url https://iain.cx/src/nssm/] NSSM (free) or [url http://support.microsoft.com/kb/137890] SRVANY (MS, non-free), that starts your lot as a windows service.
    The order for the creation of this service using NSSM might look like the following

    nssm install APEX_Listener D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\apex_listener.1.1.2.131.15.23\startup.cmd

    You can subsequently change the service properties, for example to change the startup mode to "Automatic" to "On Demand.

    I hope that answers your question. If this isn't the case, please point me in the right direction.

    Thank you

    Udo

  • What connection method used by SQLs embedded in C/C++?

    Hello.

    I've seen a lot of information on Pro * C and embedded SQL in C/C++ applications instructions.

  • Is there a troubleshooting guide for the connection of DSC-RX100M2 WiFi?

    Try to send a picture to my computer via the WiFi does not work.

    Of playback mode, when I select the menu option 'Send to the computer', the camera connects to the WiFi access point and then, is never able to connect to the computer...

    Name/group of computer job information been defined previously in the camera via USB with the help of PlayMemories House.

    After expire tries to connect to the computer, the reports of the camera that he was able to connect to the access point but not can connect to the computer.

    I already tried things

    (Please read this instead to suggest that I have try this... again)

    • I tried viewing pictures on a TV which is on the same network... and that works.
    • I tried to send photos to a "smart phone" (actually an android Tablet) connected to the same network... and it works.
    • I do not use the Windows Firewall so that the changes you home PlayMemories try to the firewall configuration Windows are not relevant.  So, I added some firewall rules for firewall, I use (Comodo) to allow incoming traffic on UDP and TCP protocols on ports 1900 and 2869 (as suggested in another post on this forum titled "Sony WX200 cannot connect to the computer via wifi".  I know it's another camera, but I guess the end of PlayMemories of the connection must use the same ports, etc..
    • I tried to connect with the products of firewall (Comodo) and the Windows Firewall completely disabled both.
    • I tried to restart the PMBDeviceInfoProvider service after the firewall rules have been added and then tried to connect the camera again, but always failed to connect.
    • I tried to restart the PMBDeviceInfoProvider service, while all products of firewalls have been disabled and then tried to connect the camera again, but always failed to connect.
    • I have temporarily stops the service of PMBDeviceInfoProvider and a simple http/web server (tiny Java Web Server - http://tjws.sourceforge.net/) port 2869 on the computer where PlayMemories Home is installed.  Then, using a web browser on another computer that is connected to the same WiFi access point that the RX100M2 camera, I was able to connect and get the default page of the web server.  If failure of the camera of the connection does not appear to be caused by a TCP connection failure and 2869 port is not blocked by the firewall.

    It does not appear to be any technical documentation or correct this information available about how the camera identifies and finds the computer, or what else can stop him from connect.  I speculate that it uses a UDP (port 1900) "broadcasting" of the PMBDeviceInfoProvider to allow the camera to find the computer.  I suspect that the "cannot connect" problem could be related to whether the wireless access point allows the UDP packets from the WiFi "side" of the wired/ethernet 'Coast' but I have no way to test or prove that, or even enough Sony documentation on the issue of whether it is a reasonable thing to try troubleshooting.

    If it gives anyone else having the same problem any ideas that lead to discovery, where it fails, please share.  If there is someone at Sony who knows what might be the cause of failure, please answer.

    Another thing I noticed is that a MTP IP device appears in Device Manager when you attempt to connect the camera, but it was not the name of camera model. I tried to uninstall the generic driver from "Device IP DPW" (right click and uninstall in Device Manager). The next time I tried to connect the camera, Windows RE-load the driver and now, it appears as DSC-RX100M2. So, I have evidence that the camera is now to find the computer, but it is yet to transfer all the files from the camera.

    If I disconnect the first device I connected, the other starts to work,

    Is an odd question, and I can not find someone to live something similar...

    No idea how could it be the cause, or how can I solve it?

    Thank you

    I m wondering if the same problem is displayed using another computer or another USB hub with an additional power supply.

    From my point of view of the few this problem could be related to the low power provided by a single USB port.

    The two hard drives seem to support the USB 3.0 standard.
    The USB 2.0 port common provides 500mA and USB 3.0 requires 900mA
    This means that two USB devices connected simultaneously use 1800mA which could be too much for the USB ports for s laptop

    One question; How old is your battery?
    Usually after several times the battery loses performance and it possible s you will be able to use the battery only for a few minutes. After this period, the battery is empty and needs to be recharged.

  • How many phone numbers can be connected simultaneously, use the most and merge buttons

    How many numbers phones can be connected at the same time, use the most and fusion of the buttons after you make the first call?

    It depends on your operator.

    It's been a few years since I've really looked into it, but I think that AT & T supports up to 5 concurrent calls. I know that other major U.S. carriers support less, but I don't remember the exact numbers. I want to say that Verizon and Sprint are in charge 3 and T-Mobile supports 2, but my memory on this subject is blurred.
