[The content source < iehistory: a bunch of #s] are not accessible.

Hello:

I get a bunch of them in the observer of events as warnings.  Not sure if I have problems because of them or not.  Everything seems to work OK for me.

Here is a list:

#1:

The content source are not accessible.

Background: Windows Application, catalog creates

Details: (HRESULT: 0x80004005) (0x80004005)

#2:

Some of the above are repeated 3-4 times. I noticed that the changes from 1000 to 500 in some of them.

When you first start, these error messages appear.  Not sure whether or not they are part of the problem.

#1

The gatherer is unable to read the registry URL.

Context: Application, catalog creates

Details: (HRESULT: 0 x 0) (0x00000000)

#2

The search service has detected data files corrupted in the index {id = 431}. The service tries to automatically correct this problem by rebuilding the index.

Details:

#3

The Windows Search Service is stopped because there is a problem with the indexer: the catalog is corrupted.

Details:

The content index catalog is corrupted. (HRESULT: 0XC0041801) (0xc0041801)

It was then rebuilt:

Windows Windows (3524): the database engine has successfully completed recovery steps.

Any ideas what to do?  Or is it quite 'normal' during boot?

Thank you, Rick

Hello

Are you facing any problems when working with programs?

Note:

The event logs that you have posted here refer to errors with the search Index in your computer. These are not fatal errors. However, they certainly point to the fact that some of the sites indexed on your computer are not accessible for the mechanism of research due to various errors. These errors should disappear once you have performed the following steps.

Method 1:

You can run the fixit from following link and check the issue:

Difficulty of Windows Desktop Search when it hangs or no display of results

http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_search/

Method 2:

You can try to rebuild the index to see if it works:

  • the boot selection failed because a required device is not accessible

    Hello

I give my 15 years old nephew an old laptop so I am trying to run a system recovery and restore it to its original state factory.

As soon as I clicked on Recovery Manager > System Recovery > restore to their original factory condition, I get a screen with this message Windows Boot Manager:

Windows could not start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To solve the problem:

    1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer. (don't have)

    2. choose your language settings, and then click "next".

    3. click on "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc contact the Adminitrator's manufacturer or a computer in your system.

    Status: Oxc0000225

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is not accessible.

Is there a way to get around this. I would get to it as soon as possible, but I want to wipe all my info beforehand.

    Thank you!

    Karen

try to perform the recovery by using the partition.  boot f11 and recovery manager must take over. If not, or if the process does not finish successfully, perform a large hard drive. If the test successfully you will need to order a copy of your HP recovery disk.

as an alternative, you can create a new admin account and simply delete your existing account after.

    hope this helps

Fortunately, I have download my Canon 7 d CR2 files using Photoshop elements 11; but when I do the same thing with a Canon G7X files are not recognized.  I downloaded the latest update of Adobe for RAW files.  Advice gratefully received.

You need Adobe raw camera 8.7 version. Unfortunately your software is earlier than the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG Converter to convert your raw files to the universal Raw format files and Adobe will be open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the software of the camera factory)

Download Windows (.exe file) click here DNG Converter 8.7

Download Mac (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.7

You can convert an entire folder of images raw with a single click. See this quick video tutorial:

  • The content below Accordion widget doesn't move do not?

I want to have the content below the Accordion widget to slide down when one of the panels is open.  Right now, the Accordion widget behind the content slides when one of the panels is open. I have "Overlapping elements below" checked.

From the Lynda.com site: " the Accordion Panel now includes the overlapping items below option. "When selected, content under the accordion panel moves down on the page like an accordion panel is opened/expanded."

    Thank you

This seems like a typographical omission on Lynda.com blog.

You must uncheck this option to move the content below accordion down when opening the Panel.

Please check below excerpt from Muse Release Notes here: http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/release-note/adobe-muse-release-notes.html

  • How do I reopen it the status bar and the menu bar, I accidentally turned off one of them and now they are not accessible by right-clicking anywhere on the browser

If you right click on the bar at the top of the page in the browser, you can check and uncheck what bars appear. I accidentally disabled something there and now when I click I can't get any menu to double-check my menu on the right, State bars so that they are visible. Currently they are not visible, I have no way to move or change settings.

OK, got it fixed, I kept fishing around this site and found an answer. Press the Alt key and the menu bar appear temporarily, long enough to restore the bar to be visible.

  • Some of the reproduction of my CD - R recording, some are not.

Some of my CD - R recording reading, some are not. For those who do not have the CD poster player (0 bytes space free, total size 0 bytes) I know that is not so much that I played against them in the past. What can I do about it?

The numbers of space for music CDs are never correct, so don't worry about this.  CD/DVD players need cleaning periodically due to the accumulation of dust, then invest in a kit cleanser little expensive and see if it does not help.  Also, check the CD that doesn't play for scratches or dust and clean if necessary.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • File are not accessible by the system

There is, I had restored my computer using suite recovery of my computer.  I backup all before starting the process.  After when the process was done and I had everybody works very well, I went to remove my files of backup for the space, but I have a really stubborn file/folder.  I'm going to remove it and I get a message saying that the file is not accessible by the system.  From there, I tried going through safe mode to delete, taking possession of the records, using prompt command to remove and even using Unlocker.  None of these methods was able to remove this darn folder.  Now, I don't know what to do next.  If unlocker failed to remove the folder, then I don't think that there many options remain outside to wipe the drive.  and it's something I don't want to do.  So, I ask, what should I do next?

    Hi ShoaJo,

Error code 14, you can see the article mentioned and check.

    I hope this helps.

  • Cannot remove 2 empty folders in "my pictures". Said 'Read only', so they are not accessible, but if I uncheck this, there always reappears (the box is totally green) after she is unable to delete.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Believe, otherwise, the 'Read only' attribute has nothing to do with 'read only' for folders in Windows XP.  It actually refers to a custom folder.  To change the access permissions, you must right-click on a folder, select 'Properties', then select the security"" tab.  If you do not have a Security tab, it's either because you have XP Pro and 'Simple file sharing' enabled, or you have XP Home, and you are not an administrator mode without failure.  The following items should enlighten you...

"You can not view or change the read-only or the attributes of system files in Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7"

"How to disable the file sharing simple and how to set permissions on a shared folder in Windows XP"
      <>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307874 > (XP Pro only)

The command "attrib" in a command window can be useful or, Alternatively, you can use the 'cacls' command in a command window, but it's ugly.

    JW
