The contract of affreightment for my VISTA Home Premium 32 bit [oem] will work for VISTA Ultimate OEM Dell disk shape.

Mine has the Express Vista Upgrade Help Express upgrade DVD from Dell for Vista Home Premium 32 bit in March 2007. [XP to Vista was a promotion at the time]. I did a clean install of vista Home Premium 32-bit using the DVD upgrade at that time here.

Now, I got Dell VISTA 64-bit DVD to reinstall [Dell Rep told me that she did not have the Vista Home Premium 64-bit and is - this okay for me to receive the DVD of reinstalling Vista Ultimate 64 bit-for which I accepted]

Resettlement 64bits Ultimate DVD arrived today, in an envelope. I can't find a certificate of authenticity [COA] inside. However the sleeve that wrote this about the following:

"The Microsoft certificate of authenticity [COA] operating system is a multicolored label located on the side or the bottom of your computer. The certificate of Authenticity contains the product key code, which may be needed to complete the installation of the operating system. »

Now where's position? Can I go ahead with my clean install of Vista Ultimate 64 bit with the disc I received after formatting my drive where my Vista Home Premium 32-bit far is present.

I am owner of a single computer in the home environment.

Snow

As Dell-Jesse has already been said, "COA at the back of the system is ONLY for Vista 32 and 64 bits and NOT Vista Ultimate or business House. Computers Dell will not have a certificate of authenticity if you use the Dell supplied DVD on a Dell computer. The bios detects that it is a Dell disk and a Dell system and is not a certificate of authenticity'.» Good luck with the new OS!

You can also use this method.

You do not have a Vista disc that came with the computer to reinstall with, you should have a recovery Partition to do.

Here is the HP Compaq information on how to use the recovery partition to put your computer in a new State.

You press F11 at startup or through their Recovery Manager.

I have windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, which has totally collapsed.  By mistake, I installed my operating system 32-bit vista on it.  I bought a new windows 7 Home premium operating system and installed.  I did a clean install after formatting the hard drive [the did twice].  Now dvd will play not [scrambled] and computer is crashes sometimes and I have to force the reboot.  I saw the reference to System 32 on restart options.  Help?

Have you installed Windows 7 device drivers for your make and model. If this is not the case, then go to the support web site factory and download Windows 7 drivers to a folder on your PC and then first install the drivers for the card mother/chipset, followed by USB, SATA, LAN, Audio and all other pilots.

Find the website of your computer manufacturer support.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/contact-support/computer-manufacturers

How do you know if you have a 32 bit or bit 6 vrsion of Windows installed:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/827218

BIOS updates: you should check to see if there was one, or sometimes several updates BIOS for the motherboard. Read (if provided) which solves the update. Sometimes a newer BIOS update will fix the problem. Read the instructions on how to your BIOS update/flash very carefully and be more you understand the process. There is a risk of a bad flash/update occurs which can make your system unbootable.

Also check the download site of the manufacture of the graphics card for the latest Windows 7 drivers for your card.

  • The positioning of the image Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit background will not change

So I can change my background very well, but the position of the image, I can't. Position as in, tile, stretch, Center, filling and adjustment. I think he's stuck on stretch. I read a bit about it on the forums and some people were saying to install a "facilitator of photo wallpaper". I tried to install this and it did not work. I am not finding other solutions, so I don't know what to do =)

Good question. Not sure, but it seems to have something to do with the aspect ratio.
    For example -.
    I have pictures on the internet that measure, 2220 x 1476, 960 x 540, 954 x 534, and 700 x 467 pixels.
and options of wallpaper does not allow for anything other than full screen on any of them.
The same is true if I convert photos in 1920 X 1080 (the native resolution of my screen).

    However if you use a photo with a resolution that measures say, 800 x 600, 2048 x 1536,.
(the res native to my camera), it will appear with the different options available in the
    Customize the wallpaper option.

    If I use Photoshop (or similar) to change the size of say, 954 x 534 at 800 x 600 or 1280 x 1024.
    the options are available.

After that I installed the free updates to service pack 1, the system goes through 2 of the 3 steps, while it recharges, then the system does not boot?  To get the computer to work again, I need to run the repairer of Windows, which allows you to restore the system to an earlier point?  Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

The last time it worked was in April. I tried to manually search for updates, but still get the above error code. Has raced as a check disk and repair on my C drive that found no problems. Also defragmented the drive. Leftmost 120 gb of free memory. • Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit - Windows Explorer, work stoppage

    Hello

When I right click on my desktop - desktop and selected 'Properties', the page icon appears but it's information retrieval, then upward a message saying "windows Explorer has stopped working". Other times I chose to play windows 7 games, such has Freecell and windows Explorer stops working.
Also, I tried to restore the computer, it does not, either in normal or safe mode.
I crossed the road to the sfc, checked for malware and remove some programs that I installed.
The computer is running in safe mode, the computer properties appear as it should and games appear as they should.
I have all the windows recent updates installed.
Please help - I'm going in circles trying to find the solution.
I just bought this 2nd hand computer - HP Pavilion p6-2071uk

    The link worked fine.

The problem seems to be with the graphics card, AMD, in particular the atiumd6a.dll:

    Probably caused by: atiumd6a.dll (atiumd6a + 1f8234)

The atiumd6a.dll currently on the system is version 8.14.10.355 and dated April 25, 2012, so you should be able to update this module.

To do, I could suggest to uninstall the graphics driver, AMD, which is now installed and then install the latest WHQL certified driver (revision number 13.4) available directly from AMD:

  • Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit > Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit?

Just a question, I currently have Vista Home Premium 32 Bit OEM and want to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit.  When you buy an upgrade pack does with Versions 32 and 64 BIT, I understand not doing a clean install, etc..  but the DVD with this capability upgrade?  as far as I can see the comments are widespread, and State if the disk used for the upgrade is a full version or an upgrade copy.   Because I would rather buy the upgrade on a whole new pack of detail for reasons of $.

Yes, this full and updated details to level version boxed packages include records of 32 and 64-bit.

    Upgrade paths:
When important changes to your computer, for example an upgrade, it is always recommended that you back up your system before installing a new version of Windows. In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on the edition and the architecture of Windows Vista, you have installed. If you are running a 32-bit version of Vista and upgrade to a 64-bit (Windows 7 edition) version, you'll have a pure make install, it is the opposite case.

If you are using Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium consumer editions, you can only upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate. Also, you can make the downgrades, which means, if you are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition now, you cannot downgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. You perform logical upgrades:

Windows Vista Home Basic > Windows 7 Home Basic, Premium or Ultimate
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium > Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate
Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Professional, enterprise or ultimate edition
Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Enterprise
Windows Vista Ultimate > Windows 7 Ultimate.

Did anyone tried Flex Builder 3 on Vista Home Premium 64-bit? It work? I see that Vista is supported, but the requested page is not specifically Flex Builder on Vista 64-bit.

I see some old questions on the topic in the forums, but nothing recent and no answers complete.

    Well, it's always easy...

I talked to FB/Vista 1 million users, and all say that it is super fast...

    See how easy it is?

I suggest you look into the optimization of your system and/or look at what could be the cause.

I'm surprised it works decent for you

    Well, I'm surprised you're surpised

  • More games and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Hello Microsoft supports the team.

I would like to play the older games like Dungeon Keeper2, Tomb Raider2 and Star Wars: the threat ghost on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I tried to change the compatibility settings, and it does make a difference. If you could tell me about a good VM to use or something else, I would be gratefull, thank you.

    Kind regards.

    Jacques van Wyk

For Dungeon Keeper 2, you can follow this guide, it can help.

For Tomb Raider 2, I think I found something on this site, in any case I do not know if they have solved the problem (I'm Italian and I did not quite understand what they were doing), so try at your own risk.

For Star Wars: The Phantom Menace tell him guide. (Possibly a 32-bit operating system, too)

None of these reviews are officially supported and I have not test them, so continue at your own risk.
Personally, I think that if you're someone who frequently use old video games (video games, you mentioned all have more than 10 years!), it would be more convenient to install Windows XP or at least Windows 7 32-bit (most of old video games was 16-bit: Windows 7 32 bit can handle most 16-bit applications in Windows 7 64 bit cannot) , or (even if it will affect the speed of the game) Windows 98 on a virtual machine (there are a lot of choises: Oracle VirtualBox, VMWare, Microsoft Virtual PC, etc...)

Hope this helps, spero di essere stato of aiuto.

  • Printing for Vista Home Premium 32-bit network: Blank document or disappears from the queue

I'm having trouble printing large format HP DeskJet 1000 c, which is connected via a parallel cable to my Media Center/DVR PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 - bit SP2 on my printer. I connected with the success of this printer to two different computers, a desktop PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit SP2 and a laptop Mac OS x 10.5.8. I can print from the local computer very well, but when I try and use the printer on the network, one of two things happens depending on what machine I try and print from:

    1. from Vista 64 Desktop: printing the task appears, treats and disappears from the queue to the local printing on PC DVR. Printer advance a sheet of paper as if he were about to print, then waits with a power indicator light flashes. If you send a new job network, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the process begins again. If you send a new job locally, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the local job will print normally.

    2. from Mac OS x: printing the task appears, treats and disappears from the queue to the local printing on PC DVR. Printer does nothing.

Although the process of networking of printers with OS X 10.5 and Vista is a bit more complicated (annoying) it was with XP, I am able to print from the Mac to a printer on the Vista 64 machine very well. Similarly, PC DVR allows you to print to the printer of the Vista 64 computer and a printer connected to my Mac desktop.

I checked the HP site for drivers and since it is a quite old printer, there is no listed for any operating system newer than Windows 2000 (which a pilot has been included with the operating system). Any ideas as to why the PC DVR will not take of the network print jobs? Unfortunately, this complex printer (3 printers, 4 machines) installation is somewhat needed due to the possibilities of each printer and how my home office is laid out. If they did a multifunction, printer laser color large network format, I could sell my soul for what it... But I'm not aware of such a machine available to mortals.

There is a difficulty that recently came on the HP Forums for 64-bit Vista:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-and/DeskJet-710-720-810-820-100-series-printers-patch-for-64-bit/m-p/203377#U203377

All you have to is to download the mentioned file and replace some dll with those provided.

The question remains with OS X, but I do not expect that Microsoft will provide no support for this.
