    Sorry for my English.
February 8, 2013, I bought my computer Toshiba L855 laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed.
For ten days, I get a pop-up that says that Windows is not genuine.

    How is that possible?

  • "Windows is not genuine" found at the bottom right of the screen. Already active Windows.

I bought a laptop and installed windows pro. Windows has been activated successfully. After two weeks, I've had my laptop replaced with a new laptop, the same model (with the same characteristics) due to a defective part of the keyboard. They removed the hard drive of my laptop and inserted in the new laptop. After that, windows is reactivated in the new laptop and the activation was successful. Installed windows updates regularly.

Two weeks later, after playing a game online, I saw a message from 3 lines at the bottom right of the screen with the last line, saying "Windows is not genuine". I forgot the first two lines, because when I open my computer system properties, I checked that the glass is always enabled, and at this time when the System Properties window has been opened, the message of 3 lines down to the right of the screen suddenly disappeared.

After that, I checked the windows update and installed the updates available and it is ok. Since yesterday I have not seen the message more. It came to my mind that, at the time the message appeared, is 30 days from when I activated all first windows.
I just want to clarify if it was just a bug, or wrongly identified my OS as genuine microsoft?
If it was just a bug, this message will appear soon? Hope someone can clarify it.
    Thank you.

Well, your report does not indicate that everything is bad:

    License status: licensed
    Remaining Windows rearm count: 3
    Trust time: 20/01/2012-12:50:35 AM

But your date will not, today, it's the 19th, not 20.

  • Windows 7 not genuine after years - new security installed

We have added new TrendMicro and other additional security software in our computers Window 7 Pro.  This has been done 2-months ago.  Last week we improved our proxy to a Cisco ASA appliance with a much tighter lock on the incoming and outgoing traffic.  Computers of this week four out of eight to a remote location (which is related to us for internet access) shows the black background and "Windows is not genuine".

I have several problems with this.

1 / the remote site has had computers for about THREE years... without this problem

2 / I try to turn it back on and the interface indicates that it cannot but,-click here to solve.  This click leads to something like sorry, we can not solve at this time... try again later.

3 / permanent my entire network in conjunction with Microsoft, and now that I have strengthened security, my business is at risk with difficulties of the machine?

4 / will be very likely machines be screwing soon and finally,.

5 / what needs open/disabled so that it stops?

I suggest that you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic tool in normal mode (not safe mode) and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis:

Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

  • Windows 7 not genuine error

My employer (a very large company) has improved my DELL OptiPlex 755 to windows 7 from XP.

About 6 months ago, my Department got new computers and I could buy my DELL from the employer.  I was able to remove all requirements for network credentials and start without a password and all THE programs that have been installed by my company.

I bought legally, had the blessing of my company and recently my desktop is black and the popups saying my windows is not genuine.

I have not received a disc of Windows 7 or a key that he seems to have been a generic key used when I logged in our business network.  The only programs I have on the PC are SAGETV for my PVR needs, but also the drivers for the new video card and the tuners I've installed at home.  Except that it's clean.

How to authenticate this installation?  The only key I have comes from the XP installation original came with the PC when I ordered it for my Department several years ago. Our IT Department must have used a license key generic that has been authenticated periodically when I logged in at work.

I would be happy to provide MS my service of DELL or any other information code to authenticate this version of windows.

    What can I do?

Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.

This is why we ask a diagnostic report and it is also why we are asking that you create your own thread for your question (in other words, do not post your question in another thread).

It is simply too complicated to try to resolve the multiple problems in the same thread.

  • Vista asks to activate and insert the restore disc. SE message at the bottom of the screen: "this copy of Windows is not genuine".

    Original title: corrupt Windows Vista

I have vista business and I think he got corrupted when I went overseas. Now it asks me always to activate and insert the restore disc but I've mislaid and cannot locate my restore disk. Also on the bottom, it indicates that this copy of windows is not genuine? Please help anyone on how I can restore this back to the original.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    See which way suits you.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html

    See you soon.

  • Hard installed old screw in another laptop and the poster said a copy of windows is not genuine. It is a toshiba lapop and did not come with original discs

Installed an old hard drive in a Toshiba laptop in another PC Dell laptop and asked to activate windows.  When I tried to activate it, it didn't work and he says "this copy of Windows is not genuine".  The original laptop came not with all drives, and he said to make recovery disks.  I made records of discovery and tried to use it in the Dell laptop and it does not work it no more.  I'm looking to find out how to activate windows.  Any help will be appreciated.

It is an OEM license on the Toshiba laptop computer, the license is tied to the original machine that is why he is coming to ask you to activate.

  • After the reboot, I get Windows Vista build 6002 this copy of windows is not genuine, but the system... activation seems to be

After a restart/virus scan (after the large recent Windows Update Microsoft), I see on the background one right part of my screen:

Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine.

I looked at the system screen and it shows only: Windows is activated.

I ran Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool, and it shows:
    Validation status: genuine
    Validation code: 0

N/a for resolution state (probably because he thinks that the installation is correct).

Don't know what the issue is here?  Does anyone know a fix for this?  I would rather have not shut down the system after 30 days of work!
    Thank you!

According to the report that you have posted, you should not see a non-genuine problem - the report is clean.

If you are indeed to see a non-genuine notification, then is that from time to time, or is this all the time?

If it is present only from time to time, you have a race condition - and those can be a nightmare to solve, because they disappear as soon as you look at :) They are often caused by antivirus programs in conflict with other programs running

If it is there all the time, then try the following.

Vista license store is perhaps damaged or its data can be ruined somehow. Please try the steps below to re-create the store with the correct data.

    (1) open an Internet browser window.
    (2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
    (3) find the CMD.exe file
    (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
    (5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
    (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing

    (8) type: cd %windir%\system32
    (9) type: net start slsvc
    (10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)
    (11) restart your computer twice.
    (12) you may need to enter you product key and activate it.
