  No, it won't, it will transfer personal files and settings. You will have to reinstall your applications from the original installation files or install CDs and DVDs.

  With the help of Oracle 11.2, you can use feature 'set newname for database' using OMF.

  SET NEWNAME FOR DATABASE TO '/oradata/%U';
  RESTORE DATABASE;
  SWITCH DATAFILE ALL;
  SWITCH TEMPFILE ALL;
  RECOVER DATABASE;
  

  After the restore and recover databases (i.e. before resetlog open) you can do to rename redolog. Just a query column member from v$ logfile and deliver ' alter database rename file 'oldPath_of_OnlineRedoLogs' to 'newPath_of_OnlineRedoLogs ';

  When we use the DSO is much easier to use OMF because Oracle automatically creates the directory structure.
  But when we use the file system that the OMF does not serve due DBA dislikes system generated on file system names.

It makes me crazy. How can I disable this feature of the software?  If I need them, I can simple enter the windows on the bottom of the screen icon.   I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Notebook PC 11 workflow and settings of Touchpad not working not properly. You can disable the popup of charms by right-clicking on the desktop go to properties. In the properties of Navigation window and the taskbar, click the Navigation tab and uncheck the box - when I point to the upper right corner, show the charms.

  Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the Touchpad, if you need it.
  
  If you proceed to the section setting of TouchPad pointing the sensitivities it should help solve the problem. Enable or disable individual gestures by clicking the check box next to each item. A check mark in the check box indicates that the gesture is turned on.

  Versions previous hardware could always hardware ports series and parallel within the virtual of the motherboard SuperIO chip, even when there are no virtual serial ports or virtual parallel ports configured for the virtual machine - quietly ports would be "present but disconnected", so they would use more space i/o and IRQ, and always appear to be present in the list of devices in your guest OS IRQ and I/O port map.

  With the latest version of the material, if you delete the port virtual series and virtual parallel port, they will be missing... the guest OS won't see all the device, and it consumes no space port of IO and no IRQ.
