Suddenly I lost the sound in my PC. BUT I have the default sounds... You will need to find a source, download and install any CODEC no MS yourself. You can use GSpot to identify CODECs used in AVI files. An alternative to downloading of many individual CODECs is to install FFDSHOW instead. All videos play perfectly (both video and audio) in Windows Media Center, however I prefer to have them play in the drive by default as they did. I did some research online and tried a few things, but nothing worked and I'm hesitant to download codecs that can be harmful. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
