Hi Dhyan Singh Talodiya,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

  1. Are all the device drivers and Windows updates are updated?
  2. You have security software installed?

According to the description of the computer problem is cannot connect web proxy. The device or resource is not set to accept the connection on port 8080. The question might be if there is a corruption of parameters network or security software is limiting. Then, I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

Method 1: Resolution of network performance problems.

Automated convenience store is a tool that can find and automatically fix problems with your computer. These utilities are not designed to solve all the problems, but they are useful to try because they can often save your time and efforts.

Run the network troubleshooter utility:

Method 2: Are looking for connection settings:

1. start Internet Explorer.
2. click on the Tools menu and then click Internet Options.
3. click on the Connections tab.
4. by dial and VPN settings, click the broadband connection, click settings, and then click on automatically detect settings.
5. click on OK.

Method 3:

Temporarily disable the software security and user account control exit ramp when connecting.

Follow the steps described in the article below to temporarily turn off the ramp of user account control and security software.

Disable the antivirus software
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Enable or disable the User Account Control

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=Windows-7

Note: User Account Control (UAC) can help you to prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. It works by asking permission when a task requires administrative rights, such as installing software or changing settings affecting other users. We do not recommend disable user account control. If you turn it off, you must reactivate as soon as possible.

I hope this helps. Please let us know the results. Feel free to write us again for any further assistance. We will be happy to help you.

Kind regards

Google chrome, IE, and firefox all say that they cannot connect to the proxy server. Now, I don't have a proxy server and never have. I tried to uncheck proxy server in Internet properties and I put it to automatically detect settings, but it still does not. I tried to change the settings in safe mode, I tried to go back to a restore point, I tried to turn off my firewall, antivirus, remove LogMeInHamachi, uninstall my antivirus, removing the K9 web protection and switching my DNS of OpenDNS. I also tested the same CAT6 cable I use for my office on my laptop and it worked fine, which means that it is a problem with my desktop computer and not the router or ISP. I haven't changed anything on my computer, or downloaded something again. I simply turn off April 13 around midnight and nothing worked from around 23:00 on 14, when I turned on it back again. I've tried everything I can find to try googling and have test things for hours. I'm about to burst a blood vessel. Help, please.

    Hello

Internet connection issues are more often caused by disconnected cables or by routers or modems that do not work correctly. First of all, try to run the network troubleshooter to see if it can help diagnose and solve your problem:

Open the utility of network troubleshooter by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then click troubleshoot.

If execution of the network troubleshooting utility does not solve the problem, then follow the steps described in Wired and wireless network connection problems in Windows. Please refer to the reference to Article below the issue of wired network connection and wireless in windows to run the network troubleshooter utility doesn't solve the problem, then follow the steps described in of connection problems in Windows wireless and wired network.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

If the issue is not yet fix and then follow method 2.

Method 2: Reset all the proxy settings.

    (1) open the command as administrator prompt, please include a link below for "how to Open Command Prompt".

Anyway I always tried to navigate and wander through the dialog box, and here are the steps I'd like to share:

Local disk > share with > Advanced sharing > sharing tab > Advance sharing button > check the box "share this folder" > permissions * > click Add a button > click Advanced button > click on 'Search' > select NETWORK > CLICKED OK

Once the NETWORK is added, I clicked on all the check boxes under permissions to "allow".

Now the other laptop can also access all my files on the selected drive. Thank you for all your help Sir and I hope that this can also be useful to others! God bless you!

    • Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Most likely it is the cause of the error. Do a Google for ' localhost:9100 / proxy.pac ' brings up a lot of links. You can try it yourself if you want to read through some of them. Some links show that it is a malware infection and a link shows that it has something to do with the Google Web Accelerator. So I'd start with in-depth malware and possibly post on one of the below related specialty forums, unless you know you have Google Web Accelerator (whatever it is).

Go through these stages of systematically General malware removal:

When it failed, download Guided Help. Choose one of the specialty forums listed at the link above. Save and read his FAQ display. PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE NEWSPAPERS IN MS FORUMS

If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). Please be aware that not all shops are skilled at removing malware, and even if they are, your computer may be so infested that Windows will have to be properly installed. If possible, have all your data backed up before taking the machine into a shop.

  • NAS hard drive not accessible more: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

    Dear,

I am desperately looking for a solution for my specific problem how access my NAS.

I have a hard drive from Western Digital NAS (Book Live) which worked fine until now. Yet, I just changed my internet provider and I now have a new Fritzbox 6360. Now, I can not access the hard disk of the commune of programs in Windows. I contacted two suppliers already, but without success. I think I have some incorrect settings in my Windows 7, 64 bit. This is the situation:

-NAS is still working with my old Fritzbox, for testing that I went back-> ok

-I can access the NAS via the dashboard or a TwonkyServer-> ok

-When I access it via Windows Explorer, I wonder is to give my credentials (which don't work) or I get the error message: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

-J' changed my IP address (dynamic even static) and connections, password-> without success.

-J' tried SFC with the result that found no violation of integrity. -> ok.

    Any idea?

Can you please turn off the NAS, unplug the cable and Ethernet cable? Wait about 2 minutes then plug all the cables back in. Any security program or firewall to this computer? Try disabling it for now.

You have another PC or laptop which has Windows 7/8 and try to access the NAS?

You have a smartphone or a Tablet and download an application for the WD NAS and then try to access files.

    Hello

This problem is limited to a specific Web site or with everyone?

You can approach this problem in two ways: first by simply disabling the cache, but also by restarting DNS client service, which manages the cached DNS queries.

    Method 1: Clear DNS Cache

    a. click Startand type cmd in the Start search box.

    b. right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    c. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:

    ipconfig/flushdns

Usually, it clears up any issue that may occur.

Method 2: Restart the Service DNS Services

    a. Click Start and run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    b. double-click the DNS Client service. If you receive a Configuration Manager message, click OK.

    c. in the Startup Type list, click on restart and then click OK.

    d. close Services.

    e. restart the computer.

Method 3: Configure the connection to obtain an IP address automatically

    a. click on 'Start', enter "NCPA. CPL' (without the quotes) in the search bar and press "Enter."

    b. right-click on the network connection, and then click on 'Properties'. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    c. click on select 'Internet Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) Protocol' and then click 'Properties' of .

    d. Select "obtain an IP automatically" and "DNS server automatically get an address.

Hello, I have a desktop PC and a laptop (DELL Inspiron N-4050).

When I troubleshoot it says "your computer seems to be correctly configured but the device or resource (DNS SERVER) is not responding."
I said to many technicians of microsoft online response, but they could not solve my problem and said this is my DNS problem and advised me to contact my Internet service provider. Guess it's because of my internet so why it works on my PC not on laptop?

Yesterday, my ethernet cable pulled out my cell phone and I couldn't connect to the internet more. But on my desktop PC, it works perfectly fine. (I do not use wifi, if this information is also required) I have studied several threads with similar situations, and I have tried different methods to solve the problem to no avail. I did a system restore, but I'm having no luck. Also, I did not of the latest changes with my anti virus software and my LAN card drivers look to date.

When I remove my cable from the laptop and again connect my cable then it works but only after the PC sat for awhile.
1.I did flush DNS by typing "ipconfig/flushdns" in the command prompt.
    2. my IP address, DNS, subnet mask etc are set to automatic.
3.I also added physical address taken from command line giving "ipconfig/all". for the properties of the network driver settings.
4.I ' installed the drivers to date of 2014 on my laptop.
5.I did a lot of searching the web, but they do not solve my problem.

Please help me to solve it.

  • Your computer seems to be configured correctly, but the device or resource (DNS server) does not

Yesterday afternoon after NO change in the system, I lost my Wired internet connection on my Dell XPS 630i running Win 7, but all the other wireless devices in the House are still able to connect to the internet.  I tried:

    * power cycle router, modem, etc.
    * reset the router (then reinstalled)
    * cables
    * checked NIC as much as I can because it is "integrated" and not his own card NIC I can reinstall (the light is on and says Windows adapter works)
    * all connection settings are set to automatic (without static IP)
    * I have also read through all the other posts with this same error message and tried everything listed there

This morning, I tried to connect to a wireless using a Netgear adapter from another computer to work in the House.  NETGEAR said it is connected to the network, but I still have no Internet with the same error message as above.

    Help!

If you did the Windows updates, then I should have mentioned that the KB2705219 update could be the cause and uninstall that solved the problem for some users.  To uninstall an update - control panel, programs & features, [left side of the window] see installed updates. Wait until the system has finished the research for the list of updates. Select update required, then right click and Uninstall.

But if you have McAfee then see this McAfee reviews.

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

While it remains the case that uninstall Win7 KB2705219 solved the problem for at least two users update, you should do the fix McAfee, if necessary.

I have McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems. However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually. So stick with McAfee without following their abduction - Reinstall procedure would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated. Actually, I removed and then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].

I had to run the MCPRT deletion a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat
