The DLL call fails when DLL uses a wide range

I call a C++ dll in LabVIEW 32-bit on Windows 7. I kept getting error 1097 and finally understood it is because the dll uses two large paintings of 5 MB each. The tables are initialized in the constructor of an object, malloc is not used, or whatever it is. If I do the smaller berries, then everything works fine.

The problem is not difficult to work around, now that I know what is the cause, but can someone tell me why a dll using a lot of memory would be a problem? I feel that 10 MB is really a lot of memory to use on modern computers.

OK, you can test the appeal of the DLL in a Visual Studio test harness?

In addition, in case you haven't seen another 'DLL error 1097' son type, here are a few. The cause of 1097 in your case can be illuminated by a multitude of courses of troubleshooting:

Call dll error 1097

Error code coming 1097 in DLL call

error 1097 after the call dll function that allocates memory inside

1097 error in the transition from table from C++ DLL for LabView (seems very relevant, although long)

I know there are a lot of reading, but there is a good chance that the magic trick is in one of these threads already. We will ride on the shoulders of their work.

  • Connect to the Oracle database fails when you use Microsoft ODBC or OLE DB Driver

There was a problem when you apply the KB3126587 hotfix where connections to an Oracle database using the Microsoft ODBC driver fails if run from automated processes. Running the same process manually would succeed. The update issued KB3147071 solved the problem successfully.

Yesterday, several patched have been applied and the problem came back. The patches are: KB2862152, KB2868626, KB3163244, KB3168965, KB3170455, KB3163251.

I saw yet no acknowledgement or difficulty of Microsoft. I prefer not to uninstall security patches, but it is a problem of production.

Any ideas what specific patch maybe breaking it again?

    Thank you

  • imitate the situation when the procedure call fails

    Hi all

My need is to emulate the situation when the procedure call fails and I have an exception.
    How can I make it?

You can use, RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR to raise a custom exception, or you can create a situation where an exception will be raised-for example inserting duplicate data in a table with a uniqueness constraint, inserting data with an invalid foreign key, taking a tablespace offline, using too many characters in a string assignment... the list is long.

    Be more specific.

You try to insert this in a column that is defined as not null?

If so, you can choose a default value for the value that you want to use if the user leaves the field to the white screen.

Or, better yet, use the validation of the front to prevent them from going into an empty space (or perhaps failed it there).

However, if you still want to do it in the DB:

    Insert into table1 (non_null_date_col)
    values (to_date (nvl (?, '' 2199/12/31), "dd/mm/yyyy"));

is it normal in the 6s overheating iphone when you use a wi - fi connection

Overheating is an over-used and misunderstood term.

An iPhone will turn off if it reaches dangerous temperatures.  Leave in the Sun on the beach and you see him give a warning of the temperature and turns off.

And Yes, all that the phone will give a little heat.  It's basically a fan less computer that uses the metal case as a heat sink to the warmth of the wick away from the card.

The only thing that's really going to "speed up" your computer is a faster processor, more ram and a faster internet connection.  Everything else is really a waste of money (IMHO)

  • You met the C00D10D1 error message when you use Windows Media Player

    Hello

I have no sound through Windows Media Player and also a player from Youtube and BBCi.  I have the following error message, please notify :-)

You met the C00D10D1 error message when you use Windows Media Player. The following information can help you resolve the problem.

    Codec is missing

Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or can't play the part of the file either audio or video) because theMP3 - codec MPEG Layer III (55) is not installed on your computer.

The missing codec may be available for download on the Internet. For more information about codecs, seeCodecs: frequently asked questions.

    Hello

    1. What is the file type or extension that you try to play?

If you get a message stating that your computer is missing a codec, you are probably trying to play, burn, or sync a file that was compressed by using a codec that does not include Windows or the default player. You will need to download codecs.

  • The images appear tense when played using the slide show in full screen

The images appear tense when played using the slide show in full screen in Windows Vista Basic. That means that a picture of resolution 1920 x 1200 appears full screen covering although a 1920 x 1080 image seems letterbox in fullscreen. My screen resolution was put to the native resolution of 1920 x 1080. It is clear that this slide show program only keeping the proportions of the image. Earlier this problem wasn't there. I think that the slide show program addresses in such a way that my monitor could have 16:10 display of report resolution l / h. thanks for giving me a solution.

This happens usually when the image resolution is high.

Keep your screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and it should work fine.

You talk about the size of the text of the elements of windows.

But the question was about the SIZE OF the INTERNET EXPLORER ADDRESS BAR SIZE.

It is very difficult to use the address bar now when it 12-15% of the width of the IE.

To change the TI: right - click on the bar next to the tabs. the drop - down menu select "show tabs on a separate line.

    That's what concerned, imho.

  • Move the point of origin when you use the scale tool

    Hello

Can someone tell me if it is possible to move the point of origin when you use the scale tool? By default, when I change by dragging an anchor of the corner, the opposite corner is used as the origin. Ideally, I would like to to scale using an origin that is biased, I can specify sort. I know that you can do during the rotation, but I was not able to determine if this goal is achievable during the measurement. I use Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 and Mac.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Jason

Click where you want the origin to be. Or move the reticle. Exactly the same as with the rotation tool.
