The "dock" at the bottom of my dekstop moved (don't know how) along the left side of my screen. H: I get it back down again?

Help.

Thank you!

If you mean your taskbar, then right click on an empty spot in the taskbar and uncheck "lock the taskbar". Then left-click on it and push the button by dragging the bar to the bottom of your screen. Release the left button and then right click on the empty space again and check 'lock the taskbar '.

    Hi Sparty11,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

Unfortunately you can not return the taskbar to display the start menu to the basic button. It's normal. If you move to the left or right, in both cases the start menu button appears on the top left or top right of the task bar.

23 "monitor a 3-1/2" black band on the left side of the desktop background. How to expand the context in which to adjust Monitor?

It's the monitor that is provided with the DELL Expirion computer when it was purchased in July 2012.  I paid a "technician" (certified) to transfer the info from my old computer.

If its a LCD monitor, you PC resolution to the native resolution of the screens?

Some monitors have a button self-configured, try pressing that. It can help if there is one.

At the same time, in your 19 "" are you the full desktop or is it lacks a little? If so, try to change the settings for horizontal and vertical screen on the monitor to move the image.

Sorry if this is how to navigate, it's hard to describe.

  • The width of the preview in Windows Explorer screen can be hung on the left side instead of the right side?

Whenever I open a Windows Explorer window, the preview window to adapt is questionable.  It is anchored on the right side of the window.  Sometimes it's fine, other times, it covers more important data like date/time and file size.  If I have it full screen on my wide screen, everything is great, but when I throw it in my smaller screen, everything must shrink.  Rather than shrink the preview pane, it allows the preview pane cover the most important areas.

The width of the preview in Windows Explorer screen can be hung on the left side instead of the right side?

I don't think it can be docked to the left.  I know that the sector details can twisted to put it on the bottom rather than the side (like Vista/7), but the preview pane itself isn't such a tweak.
