  If you just read the device information while you use DAQmx properties to achieve what you need:

  To get the names of all the devices in your system:

  DAQmxGetSysDevNames

  To get the product to a given device number (each product has a number of unique product in accordance with the reference C DAQmx help, for example, the USB-6008 case is 0x717A):

  DAQmxGetDevProductNum

  If you need to actually define the names of devices or whatnot, you would then focus on the System Configuration API.  I've never really used this outside of LabVIEW, but the Readme indicates he has CVI supports so you might be able to make it work.

  The reranavu.dll file is malware. Either you have uninstalled the malware program or your antivirus/antispyware program did. In all cases, a reference has been left in the boot file. You can remove the reference by managing your startup.

  Because you had a piece of malware, the chances are too high you had others. It would be a good idea to scan. I recommend to download and install MalwareBytes' anti-malware (MBAM) from http://www.malwarebytes.org . The program is free. (There is a paid version, but you don't need to buy it to remove the malware).

  Manage startup - be done only when you are sure that the computer is completely free of malware:

  (for XP) Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

  This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

  If you have downloaded in Internet Explorer, go to tools, click View downloads, and you'll see the directory where it has been downloaded. Not visible? Look down, in the bottom left of the word 'options', click on this and it will display the current default folder for downloads, but after writing it down, you can change it to any folder of your choice (mine is C:\__Downloads - always watch first!).

  If you use another browser, go to this toolbar for browsers and search for the download folder and display it. You should find similar settings for the other locations.

  In the trial screen, you will have a button that says: this software under license. Click on the button and follow the on-screen instructions. I think that you will be asked to sign in with your adobe ID and password. Once you are connected, the software will be associated with your subscription.

  The WPS Pin is only used if the printer supports "Wi - Fi Protected Setup" - which it probably isn't, and the "Admin" password is used to access your BT home hub to make configuration changes.

There is a red X in the upper right corner.  I can't take the printer to print a document.  It is the default printer.  I am running wireless and recently had to reset my router...   It's strange. Looks like something in the alignment process is originally the printer enter a permanent error state. This is going to sound strange, but I think it will work. Let the printer goes to error state. Then, instead of turning off the printer by the power button, remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet so to reset the power module (it is the black brick in the power cord). Open the printer and slide the ink cart in the region that allow you to remove the ink cartridges and remove the ink cartridges. Close the printer, plug the printer back in and turn it on. When you are asked for your ink cartridges to be inserted, go ahead and put them in. Let me know what happens.
