• Mail that is to be received in my Inbox goes right in the trash.

  This has only started recently. Mail that I would like to receive and have normally received in my Inbox, all of a sudden started going straight in the trash. This only happens to some of my incoming mail. The selection of the mail that goes to the trash seems random. There is no filter to block or move all of the senders of these emails. Why is that happening and how can I get that back to normal?

  If I remove TB to reinstall it later, I would lose my saved messages, addresses and all I have on it?

• A sent e-mail is also going in the trash in various forms

  Sent an email from Google to my credit card customer service. The next day, I noticed about eight versions of this email in the trash. The first note was only 'Dear Sir', but each version a little more mail, until the final version had all of the content.  second version had, "Dear Sir, please see my attachment ', the third was ' Dear Sir, please see my attached below", and so on). It's weird and a bit disturbing, since it was in correspondence with my credit card company. No explanation?

• Windows 7 WLM2011: Mail copied to the corruption of the local folders.

  Windows 7 WLM2011: Mail copied to a local folder of the entry was lost & all emails in that folder has become the same & lost originals: what is the origin of this & how to stop it. O.K. & AVG firewall running O.K. reported no nasties.

  Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail and see if the emails are always in the files.

  The index file is probably corrupted.  If the messages are there, answer and I'll post the instructions on resetting the index.

  When you delete a box in question it will not disappear, but a copy goes to the trash, what's the problem?

  You have corruption of dbx files.

  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox (if you can) and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

  Compact all folders as described below.

  To avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. • archive e-mail iOS 10 not work properly - sending mail in the trash

  I have the s 6 + and have just upgraded to iOS 10. Both of my Gmail accounts are related to the mail of iOS and the parameters are defined on archive on the server (all mail in gmail) to throw. Under IOS 9, a simple click in the icon of the archive at the bottom of an email in the mail application would immediately archive correctly.

  Now with 10, there are 2 problems/bugs.

  (1) on the court by clicking on the icon, a temporary popup seems to offer options for archive or cancel. It is an unnecessary extra step and should be removed (long click always takes me to the popup to archives/trash/cancel)

  (2) However, by clicking on the text results (click for short or long road) archive in my mail goes into the TRASH. This seems to be a BUG. Very frustrating because now I need to move manually ALLMAIL emails now correctly in the TRASH

  (For info in the snippet view, slide to the left seems to archive correctly)

  Anyone had similar problems? Any ideas if there is a hack to work around this problem?

  My gmail was hacked.  People in my contact list have sent emails asking them to log on to a site. Most of my email goes to the trash.  I went to the Genius Bar last week, but the Lady could not fix. My email is still going directly in the trash.  I tried suggestions from research on the web, but have not been able to fix it.

  First, immediately turn on the audit 2 steps in your Google account, to be sure, it is well protected.

  Then open the Gmail settings and go to the filters Panel: you will find at least one filter that automatically deletes all e-mails. Remove each strange filter that not create you, this will fix the problem.

• Thunderbird 31.2 sends my drafts in the trash as undesirable and not my drafts folder

  When I record a message I have to compose in draft form, it goes in the project folder. He goes to the basket and is marked as spam. Now I have to go the basket and deselect as undesirable, then manually move in my project folder.

  In addition, all of the messages I send are posted in the sent folder AND the trash folder, marked as junk.

  Thanks again for your help. I think that the problem might have been with McAfee Total Protection. I've loaded and installed an any other anti-virus software and the problem seems to have disappeared.

  Also went to Applications > utilities, disk utility. and 'Repair permissions' restarted when finished. Don't know if this will help future emails.

  To project e-mails, open the preferences Mail account tab select the account gmail and go to the behaviour of the ball. Uncheck the tab where you will store draft messages on the server.

  Give a little more detail on other issues. For the lost emails, they lack also the site of the gmail webmail?

I have solve it with copy of the photos with the external hard drive and stick it in iPhotos Library.iphotos.library.   What kind of library are automatically using, iPhoto or Photos.  The package of photo library in your pictures folder will look like this:

  

  If it's the library that you handle the here's what you need to do to remove a photo from the library and the hard drive (it won't to the trash in the Dock like in iPhoto):

  Remove Photos from a library of Photos 1.5

  1. regardless where you are in the library, i.e. Moments, collections, albums, smart albums or projects, select the photos you want to remove, use the command + delete keyboard shortcut to move the photos to the recently deleted smart album.

  2 - Click on the albums smart recently deleted in the sidebar.

  

  NOTE 1: If you use pictures 1.2 or earlier, use the option menu file ➙ show recently deleted .

  3. in the recently deleted album, you can opt to leave the photo automatically delete after the 30-day waiting period is in place, remove them immediately or restore them in the library.

  

  NOTE 2: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., the delete key only deletes the photo of this element.  There is no combination of keys that will remove a photo from a project and move directly to the recently deleted smart album.

  You will need to check the settings for the individual account. Go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar and select the mail account in question. Tap the account and go to advanced. Who gives you the options to define the message retired in the mailbox deleted (trash) from the mailbox to the Archive.
