  I downloaded a notification tone that I had on my LG lucid and really liked... I sent the attachment to myself and copied to the folder ringtones... and, indeed, it shows to the top (and plays) in the main list of parameters of the system of rings.

  But when I opened GMail (I want to use in the application), go to my account settings, then select Notifications, the tone I'm looking for is not in this list.

  How is this visible tone in the "master list" of ringtones via the phone settings, but not seen by the GMail app?

  Gmail is none ringtones for its sounds. You must create a new folder called Notifications and set the sounds in there, then Gmail will be able to find and use

• Who feels that the Droid Razr startup is too long?

  The details are still a bit dark, but they suggest a Razr Maxx like phone with screen better (Res larger and more) with screen function keys (consume some of the screen as the Nexus real estate).

  Well, I have a Droid Razr and just bought a Razr Maxx. Although, I would like to have a phone with a bigger screen, I'm not upset because I know that the manufacturers are in a constant mode mentality "release the new and better." Their goal is to produce something that will sell. A new product of new capacities will do exactly that. When you release a new phone and it has something his predecessor didn't it will sell.

  If I was the manufacturer of phones, I would do exactly the same thing. They are after all in business to make money.

  I can't wait to get my Droid Razr Maxx. My wife can't wait either as she will inherit my Droid Razr.

  I saw references edition of the developer for the Droid Razr M and the Droid Razr HD - does anyone know if this can be offered for the Droid Razr Maxx HD in the near future?

  I think to do a Droid Razr Maxx HD at some point - I would like to be able to unlock it (after the 1 year warranty is over). The larger battery is more important to me than a unlockable bootloader, but if a Dev. Ed. is probably in the version of Maxx, I'm going to wait a while. I'll probably buy it off-contract of any direct way to bike in case they get slightly more than the price of this way - should get that way if a Dev. Ed. eventually be offered.

  I've seen the customer ratings of smartphone brands, Apple was on top, followed by HTC. Motorcycle was near the bottom. It was Consumer Reports, but I'm not positive about that.

  It * can * be done. (google tethering to the droid) But as my Droid is capable of doing almost anything my laptop (or an iPad) can do, it is not necessary. Verizon is greedy with it and offer plans tie with data caps that are stupidly low.

  You will find the auto lock settings in settings > display and brightness.

  Settings > general > reset > reset home screen presentation.

  Sorry, but you can't activate an iPhone without a SIM card installed. It is simply not possible to do.
