  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 8520 - icon won't go away?

    Hello

The logo shows from the Blackberry App World, with little through arrow and the Red Star of notification. I have the newest app world, all my applications have been updated last night. I did the battery pull, I left the battery out for half an hour and put again, and I have reinstalled and uninstalled various applications. The logo is always in the corner of my screen at run time, and it won't go away. It's really bugging me!

    Can anyone help?

Well, if there is no new messages on the app world or updates to all the other apps then I'll go with my 1st theory by saying it's bugged. Facebook and Appworld do for me on occasion, where a message icon won't go away, and the only way I make them go away is to uninstall and reinstall. Doesn't hurt to try.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones icon won't go away

A small white icon that looks like a cassette is display on my home screen. It has no figures with it. I think this is a voicemail icon, but my mailbox is empty: I checked it several times.

Can someone identify the icon and then tell me how to get rid of it. I already have my battery several times different (but not for 30 minutes as a post suggested a missed call icon that won't go away).

Here you are at choice,... follow these steps in order until it is resolved.

    1. Call your voicemail and clear the message.
    2. You can call your BB from another and leave a message. You BB, call your voicemail and clear and delete your messages.
    3. Hard Reset BlackBerry by holding ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or removing and reinserting the battery)
    4. Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    5. Clean and reload your OS.

  • AirPlay icon won't go away

Today, I noticed that the AirPlay icon appeared on my menu bar. I'm sure that wasn't there before, because I had tried to erase my sidebar too crowded and he would have noticed. I don't own an Apple TV or something but in the menu, I see a bunch of screens of others in my apartment complex. Despite the fact that AirPlay is off, and I unchecked "Display mirroring options" in the system preferences: display, and then quit System preferences. If I force quit AirPlayXPCHelper in activity monitor, the icon disappears and reappears immediately (and the process is in the activity monitor).

Do a search, it seems that most people have the problem of not being able to see the AirPlay icon. Although I saw someone addressing a security issue involving the AirPlayXPCHelper. I hope that is not what is happening with me? How to go further?

I've upgraded to the latest version of El Capitan, the problem is now gone.

  • E-mail blackBerry Z30 voice icon won't go away!

    Hi all:

I have a Z30, and I 10.2.1.3062.  I was left a voicemail message a while ago, and after listening to it the first time, I recorded and listened to again 3 days later. After that, I deleted the recorded message. However, the notification of voice mail continues to show on my screen/Hub. This is despite the fact that the answering machine said I have no new messages or saved.

I tried to leave me a message and delete then in the hope that he could get rid of the icon, but not luck.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

I contacted BlackBerryHelp on Twitter and they informed me that BlackBerry is aware of the problem of the voicemail message indicator does not turn off, right now, there is no resolution of the problem, unfortunately, but it is under review by the development team.

  • Call failed blackBerry Smartphone icon won't go away

    Hello

I just bought a blackberry off ebay (after millions of problems with my iPhone!) and I'm having a few problems...

First of all, when I turned it on there was no txt, or the sound icon message icon. I browsed this site and followed the advice to remove the battery to restart and that seems to have done the trick. However, someone called me and now I have a call missed the top of the screen icon. I can't find a way to access to see who called me and to make it disappear.

My second problem is that I am unable to use the Setup Wizard to configure my email account (this is a gmail account). I was wondering which would be because I'm currently on a rate of the iPhone with O2? Should I change my rate for a rate of blackberry in order to implement my mails and surf the net?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Yes you need a BlackBerry data Plan, not the IPhone plan to set up e-mail accounts and browse the internet

I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 and I can't get the mail message icon to go! I checked each box unread messages or messages and there is not.  I took the battery, sim card, rebooted, and they are still there. Any suggestions?

Open your Messages folder.  Press the menu button, and then select the display folder.  If you look at each of these files, one by one, you should be able to find this annoying message and get rid of it.  You say that it is a message, but how about delve you into these issues and see if it could be something else.

    * I accidentally posted this in the 8900 forum.  I hope it's okay to post here, which is where it belongs, I think.

    Hey,

I remember I read a KB on this problem and work around should leave you a voice message, then listen, this may result in the cancellation of notification of voicemail on your BB.

Otherwise, simply reset your device (traction battery out so that the phone is always turn on and reinsert the battery)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones voicemail icon won't go away

My voicemail icon is stuck on my screen. I have no new voicemails.

    How can I fix?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have an icon of wandering answering MACHINE waiting on your home screen:
Dial your voicemail and clear the message.
    * You can call your BB from another and leave a message. You BB, call your voicemail and clear and delete your messages.
    * If the above fails, pull your battery to reset and restart your BlackBerry.

    Hey ilaria,.

To solve the problem of BlackBerry Messenger, follow these steps:

    1. open BlackBerry Messenger.

    2. highlight the contact that has the problem.

    3. press the Menu button, then click on remove the contacts link.

A corrupt message database, might be something as small as the message did not properly on the device or the message is unreadable on the camera.

Let me know if that does not solve your problem.

  • No sound with audio volume on the screen box (won't go away)

I have a computer from a1747c with a monitor of w19e with internal speakers under vista (updated)

Suddenly the audio volume box appears centered on the screen and began to go to 0 and that's where he stays. And the internal speakers do not work. I tried to plug in headphones and external speakers, which both DO not work, but this audio volume box will not disappear on the screen. My thought is that the speakers are out?

I also went in for speakers Device Manager which States that everything is working properly. I can live with the external speakers, but this box just won't go away... Any ideas? or is it a problem of repair shop...

    Thanks for any help!

    Liz

Having satisfied this market since March or so I came to the conclusion that it is the buttons on the monitor itself! your work? one of them? THE MINE NOT - AT ALL, NONE OF THEM. The way I found to get rid of this box is to hold down the button ON / OFF on the monitor for about 20 seconds (until he died)

I would like to know if that's what get you...
