  My girlfriend has a HP dv4-1465dx experiencing hardware problems, the laptop will be blue screen randomly and then restart 1-3 seconds later.   Please provide more information for your issue to be diagnosed.

  Restart your computer and wait 20 minutes for the system to operate before you download information. When the review much, not Event Viewer log files all problems show in the period immediately after the computer has booted.

Place the cursor on the system, select the Action in the Menu and record all events like (the evtx default file type) and give a name to the file. Do not offer not filtered files.   It's a SQL API based in the event database connection, it does not need an ODBC connection, see will do for you.

  I just wanted to know what operating system you are using to connect to the server and did you do Windows Update on this machine? If not done it please do.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Running VMPlayer 3.1.3 version 324285 build on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit with 8G of memory.

  When I try to install some VMs based on Linux of ISOs, in a few seconds, I get the error:

  I know that the Get-VIEvent command allows you to specify the type of events to get back... that is to say [-Types < EventCategory [>]

  but, I want to extract all the events and export them to a CSV file. I want one of the columns to be "EventCategory", which will be ERROR, WARNING, or INFO, but I can't seem to find it.  $_. GetType(). Name gets me the type of event, but not the category.  I know that I can have my script executed 3 times (each time specifying the - parameter Types) but I want to run only once.  Any ideas?

  I worked on a few elements that should attract the event category.  The first selects a few properties, including a calculated property that gets the event category:

  ## works well if no events of type 'EventEx'## get the .Net View object of the EventManager (used for getting the event Category) $viewEventMgr = Get-View EventManager ## get some VIEvents, select a few properties, including a calculated property for EventCategory Get-VIEvent | Select FullFormattedMessage, CreatedTime, @{n="EventCategory"; e={$strThisEventType = $_.GetType().Name; ($viewEventMgr.Description.EventInfo | ?{$_.Key -eq $strThisEventType}).Category}}
  

  It becomes VIEvents (the last 100, because I did not specify the parameter - MaxSamples) and returns the properties of data.  The calculated "EventCategory" property uses the type of the VIEvent object to search for in the collection of items EventDescriptionEventDetail in ownership eventInfo found in .net object View for the EventManager.  He then grabs the 'Category' of the corresponding element of EventDescriptionEventDetail property.

  Works fine unless you have any VIEvents type "EventEx" - then, this 'research' in EventDescriptionEventDetail collection method fails, because there is more than one element of this type (there are 91 of them at the moment).

  This led me to the next bit.  It is similar to the previous method, but it handles EventEx events too:

  It seems that the EventTypeId of the event returned by Get-VIEvent is included in the first part of the property FullFormat of elements EventDescriptionEventDetail with EventEx key, separate from the rest of the value by a vertical pipe.  Thus, the EventTypeId of the VIEvents can be used to make a match on EventEx of events .net EventManager View object types to get the event 'category' (info, warning, error, user).

  You can, of course, change the Select statements to choice/choose the pieces of information you want to export and then export to a file of data as you please.

• Problems installation security for Microsoft Office System and all of the programs in the Microsoft Office System (error Code 646)

  I have a laptop running Windows 7 for x 64 bit. Whenever I try to install an update to security for Microsoft Office System2007 or any program that is, I get the error code 646. Everything else seems to be updated. It's really aggravating because when I will shut down my computer, I have to wait until the updates are installed before it stops, but then when I turn it back on and turn it off again, he always says I have to install the same updates to day when I finally stopped and I still have to wait until they are installed.   Download the updates manually would let us know what update is causing the problem and that's when we suggest the user to try because it could limit the question.

  First disable user account control before installing updates.

  I got the system freeze when in "sleep mode" and "blue screen". I ran system restore, regcure and scan all the material for viruses, etc..
  The last event gave the source as "gusvc" and the details as follows:

  "The description of event ID gusvc source 0 was not found. Either the component that triggers this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. »

  Where the head? I'm trying to avoid replacing my hard drive (had data from external drives movement all along).

  Thank you for using answers Forum.

  "gusvc" is the Google update service. I suggest re-installing/updating your Google product to solve this problem.

  If your using Google Earth, you can check the minimum hardware required for use, because it's a lot of resources.

  I also suggest updating your video card driver by visiting the manufacturers Web and search for the latest version of the driver.
