  • Windows Vista does not start at startup

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. My wife uses mainly the laptop for access online, certain professional activities (Word documents, spreadsheets) - nothing major.

Today, after starting the Dell system, the laptop would not boot correctly. It would have wrapped after the Windows flag and never completely boot. What I have done so far to try (unsuccessfully) the question of setting:

    (1) launch Startup Repair (recommended) - no resolution

    (2) Ran Dell Diagnostics - received error code: 2000-0333

    (2) selectable repair your computer from the Advanced Boot Options and attempted a system restore - it has failed because of an i/o device error (0x8007045D)

Not sure which is precisely the problem. Please help to troubleshoot and resolve this problem.

    Thank you

  • Explorer.exe does not start at startup, and it does not display beyond the logon screen?

I have a friends Compac laptop and he managed to stop loading explorer.exe when starting after logon is complete. I can't for the life of me remember what I have to do to restore this process in the startup routine so that his office will be in charge. He has an extraordinary number of startups, but he managed to remove this (essential) program, especially in lists of useless junk that is responsible.

It's a compact with an Intel processor running Vista and of course it doesn't have the ERD. There is a recovery on the hard drive partition and if I knew how to use it, maybe this would a repair option, but I'm not clear on how to use either because there is no literature or what he had with the computer. By way of explanation, he is a foster child and had been tossed around a lot, so it's not too surprise that it doesn't have any of these materials.

Go to this site and download the tool in a removable device like flash memory:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

And then start your PC and press the F8 key repeatedly and start in safe mode and then run the tool of flash and complete analysis of the system memory.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Safe Mode and clean boot

Check if the problem persists in safe mode. If the problem persists not in safe mode and check if the problem persists in the boot.

    Step 1: Safe Mode

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

    See the following site:

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode.

    Step 2: Clean boot

When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.

    Check out the link:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 7 of article to reset your computer to normal startup.

Note: If in case you are connected through a wireless connection and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check see topic wireless are turned on (Enabled).

Method 2: Perform a virus scan by using the Microsoft Safety Scanner

Analyze the computer to remove all possible malicious content.

    See the following site:

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Method 3: Auditor of the filesystem (SFC) Scan

SFC scan will find all missing or incorrect system files and repairs them.

    See the site:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • Sound does not start at startup.

There are times I start up my computer, but the sound does not load.  I can click on videos, but there is no sound.  I might have to restart several times.  May need to remove the battery a hard closed down so that it can properly load the sound next time at startup.  It is completely random when this happens but often.  I use windows seven.  It is not a problem to update.  It is not that the volume is low.

What is the brand, the name and number of the exact model of your laptop.

Its a driver problem, you will probably not get MS, but the Internet site indicated on the support page.
    See you soon,.

  • My USB stick recovery does not start at startup...

Is anyway for me to burn another disc to restore DVD, as the USB that I did does not work.

So my other question would be is anyway to get the USB from startup to startup. I checked the content, and there factoryrecovery and start-up of 2 files. Anyone know how ot he can begin. If I can just to start I have ot burn another copy of the recovery image.

Thank you in advance. I'm having the time more difficult re - install the system on an SSD.

Is it a USB hard drive or flash drive?

If it's a flash drive, setting the active partition may leave start.  Lenovo has an Emigrated here somewhere (sorry, the search function is let me down all at the time) which describes how a preparation flash drive before creating media of relief on this subject.

I found that put asset _apres_ creating usually makes bootable - if that was the problem.

Use the command line DISKPART windows or Linux fdisk utility to set the score of the current drive.  Do not clean, or format.

[edit] It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway.  Incorrect use of any disk formatting tool can trash the disk target or any other drive in your system.  Use with caution.

If it is a hard drive that you're talking about, I don't know what to think.

  • HP Pavilion P6-2496ea: Pc does not start, no startup screen is

    Hello
I have a HP Pavilion with D7B29EA #ABU product number and model number P6-2496ea.

I tried to run a repair on a HARD disk that was connected externally, it was taking too long so I cancelled the process and rebooted my PC.

The reboot took much too long, so I forced shut down the system. Then I tried to turn on my PC, but it does not reach the power upward.

When I tried to turn on my PC, I noticed the following:
-no screen, just a screen black (I tried different video output on the PC, but with the same result, no video)
-LED 'on' which starts as amber and then turns to blue flashes only on amber.
-by turning the HARD drive and the fans are running.

I tried to reset the BIOS to factory settings, but not joy.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi all

After some research, I came to a conclusion that the above symptoms were caused due to a corrupt BIOS.

I run a BIOS reset procedure several times but only started to notice results after 24 hours a BIOS reset.

Reset method for those who do not know the BIOS, please see the steps below:

    1 turn off the machine.

2 - remove all the USB connections of the machine (the keyaboard dongle and mouse apartment)

3 - Unplug the power to the system.

4 - with the cable disconnected, amd press hold the power button on your machine for 3-5 seconds.

5 - Remove the battery from the motherboard BIOS.

    6. remove the jumper from pins 1-2 amd put on pins 3-5 (for HP Pavilion p6-2496ea, for other models please refer to the manual of the motherboard).

    7. usually you leave the machine in this State for 15-20 minutes and then follow the rest of the instructions. If a reset of 20 minutes work try a reset 8 or 24 hours (leaving the machine with the reset jumper on).

    8 - Mount the batery.

    9. remove the jumper to reset the pins and fit the default PIN, 1-2.

    10-card sector in the system.

    11. turn on the machine, you should have a boot system.

I hope the above helps you guys, it certainly worked train me.

    Good luck.
