• CalendarAgent / Mail / Calendar Agent El Cap errors

  Getting a LOT of errors in my logs on Mail and CalendarAgent.  El Cap 10.11.5 running (a colleagues machine is on 10.11.4 with the same problem).

  Local running calendar and e-mail exchange.  Also runs e-mail and calendar Gmail accounts.

  tried to delete local and user updates cache files, cleaning some temporary files in ' / var/folders "and using various e-mail clients.  No joy.

  Any thoughts?

  I get this error in the calendar app also.  My Exchange calendars would be fine, just my Google who has problems.

  

• Keep the faces when restoring iCloud

  I use Photos on El Capitan 10.11.3 1.3.

  Recently my hard drive died, and I decided to clean install OS X on a new and then manually copy the files from a Time Machine backup needed. I chose to start a new photo library as well and synchronize it with iCloud photo library. When I did it, and waited for all the photos sync, I noticed all the faces, I assigned don't have been restored from iCloud. I know with certainty that they were ON iCloud, because I could (and still can) search and find them on my iPhone. They are not on my Mac right now.

  I have still the old backup from the old hard drive, so I could save the new library (with new photos and faceless) to a different location, copy the old library (without new pictures and the faces) to the new hard drive, assign it to the library of the system and add new photos if necessary.

  My question is, if anyone had a similar problem, and if so how they treated?

  iCloud library stores tags searchable faces, but not thumbnails in albums of faces, as described in this document: use Photos and photo library on several Macs - Apple Support iCloud

  It will be like another Mac download:

  After have connected you, these items appear in the Photos on your Mac app:

  • All photos and original videos
  • All folders and albums
  • Smart albums
  • Keywords
  • Keywords from searches of the tile faces
  • Key photo selections

  These items are available only on the Mac where you created the:

  • Books, cards and calendars
  • Slideshows
  • Keyword shortcuts
  • Unused keywords
  • Last album imported (this album contains photos you have imported recently on a specific Mac)
  • Facing tiles and faces of the data

  You will be able to search for faces, if you restore the iCloud library, as you did, and the Photos will be more quick to recreate thumbnails of faces in the album of faces, based on the available tags that are already there.

  But if you want to save this work of restoring your library of Time Machine. This will also save your projects (books, cards, calendars) and you the unused keywords.

• Cannot remove the iCloud account / an unknown error has occurred

  I suggest you turn off Auto complete and then check if you face the same problem.

  a. open Outlook Express.

  b. click on Tools.

  c. click on Options.

  d. click the send tab.

  e. uncheck the e-mail address automatically complete when composing box.

  f. click OK.

  Turn Auto complete and test again to see if the behavior is better. To activate it again, follow the same steps as above, but put a check mark in the box.

  I tried to write my signature in this area on the screen, but it doesn't seem to work? : v lol

  The solution was that I did a REFRESH of Windows 8.  Agreed that I had to use a MS accout for MAIL, CALENDAR snd PEOPLE activated.  After the UPDATE, which removes all of your added applications, but saves your files and your information, I was able to use the present TILES on the Start Page of Metro

  It was a back door solution but at least it got me through all this. It is a solution of sorts!  Jack

  I am new to these forums and bought my first blackberry and I need help! I am on Windows Vista and use Windows Mail for my mail, calendar and contacts. Using BlackBerry desktop manager 5.0.1 version I was able to sync contacts from my blackberry, but I can't sync the calendar. When I followed the steps to set up the synchronization - for the calendar, that the option of windows messaging is not listed - yet it was listed there for contacts.

  Please can someone help, I spent hours trying to figure this out!

• Windows 8 Mail/calendar/people and Windows Store numbers

  My laptop is running Windows 8, and a few months ago some applications and features stopped working.

  There are mainly 2 questions:

  1. my store of Windows has stopped working.

  On the home screen, the application itself shows apps recommended as it normally does. However, when I try to open it, I get the message "we could not connect to the Bank. This could have happened due to a problem with the server, or the network connection has expired.   If SFC could not fix something, then run the new command to see if it can be able to next time. Sometimes, it can take by running the sfc/scannow command 3 times restart the PC after each time completely fix everything what he is capable of.

  • The PC starts in Windows RE (Recovery Eenvironment).
  • Windows RE scans the hard drive for your data, settings, and applications and puts them aside (on the same drive).
  • Windows RE installs a new copy of Windows.
  • Windows RE restores the data, settings, and applications, which it set aside in the newly installed copy of Windows.
  • The PC reboots into the newly installed copy of Windows.
