  Try to go to view | Layout and turn off the preview pane, so that the message does not open when you select.  Select the message and press and hold the SHIFT key and press the Remove button to remove it permanently.  See if it works.

  The text object is defined in a Text.xfo file, on my system, it is under C:\Users\BR001\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Designer\10.0\EN\Objects\Standard.

  You can find the location by looking at the properties of the Group of the library of Standard objects;

  

  You can also create your own widget, set it up on the design finds out how you want and right click then 'add to library' (option has moved, but that's what SS3).  But I don't think you can get your own ones will appear in the drop-down list when you try to convert objects.

• Scanner (Officejet 7500) cannot find the computer when you use shortcuts scan to printer

  When you choose Scan to PDF, e-mail, etc., by using the scanning on the 7500 buttons it allows me to select the computer on the network (each with all of the latest drivers and software loaded).   The next thing to check is that "HP Device Monitor" is running.  This background process is responsible for detecting the keys for scanning applications.  If you open the activity monitor (located in/Applications/Utilities) you should see this class as one of the running processes.

  It may be generally preferable for you to perform an uninstall and reinstall the HP software.  You will find in Applications/Hewlett-Packard HP Uninstaller.  Use this utility to remove the old software.  I recommend that you download and install the latest version of the software for your 7500 here: http://tinyurl.com/4voly2d.
