I bought a nikon d610, when I tried to import raw files in the same way that I had always done with my old nikon d80 before I could not. I got a message saying that the files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom. I also tried with photoshop cc and I couldn't either. Any suggestions?

All my files are set to read-only. The files are not.

All records are all my disks are set to read-only. This includes my drive c, d Bank, e-reader and my backup drive.

The files contained in these files are not read-only. How I found out about it, was that I tried to copy / paste a file from one directory to another last night and it was not authorized. Please keep in mind that I am logged on as administrator. There is only one user, me.

I ran a recent analysis of spyware, virus scan and checked the permissions of users. I unchecked the read-only installation and reset my pc and it still comes up read-only.

This causes a major problem.

Why the my files are not available when checked?

I have a relatively new Win 7 box, TC 4 running. If the armature 11, I checked a book (using CMS/SharePoint) and everything out ok. But when I go to edit files, they have question marks, and if I try to open them, the message is "cover.fm doesn't exist." for example.
In addition, a long file directory shows instead of just the file name.
Other users with similar configurations do not experience this problem.
I can work with other books very well, but not this one (which is the MAIN one I use FM for!).

I resolved myself. Seems something has happened to the book - it lost connection with the individual files. Then I opened the book, deleted the unknown files and readded them. Problem solved!

Always have the long super file directory name list for the book, but I can live with that.

Back to the top: the files are not backed up on external hard drive

When I back up my hard drive to Windows Vista, the backup (which should include my documents) works about 30 seconds and it didn't save the file created on my external hard drive of diving. The hard drive is a Seagate 160 GB with about 90 GB of available disk space. I have my using the Windows Vista program upward.

· Have you tried the same files and backup folder in one different location (another drive or media)?

You can check if there are errors listed in Event Viewer related to backup is not made. To open Event Viewer, follow the link below.

You can also try to disable the security software and then try to run the backup utility and check if that helps.

Why the applications are not available through updates

Why are all updates not available through downloads on apple's site. It's a real pain having to update computers 2 - cost me twice the bandwidth on a connection slow broadband.

Any suggestion that would save me doing updates twice?

If you register for an application installation before installation, you can simply move it to another Mac without downloading it again.

I have never installed SW GEAR but it's UNDELETABLE in my XP registry, although the files are not on PC.

I have never installed software GEAR, but:

SUCCESS! I went into Safe Mode, permissions changed in software GEAR railways and the keys in the registry, and the problems have been removed. AND there is a HUGE difference in the way my computer starts now... quick...

Important files are not available on a USB flash drive

I copied the 8 GB of files on a USB flash drive and checked that the files were indeed on the flash drive before you delete them from my hard drive. When later, I tried to access these files, no files were listed and properties indicated that all 8GB has been used. Formatting the flash drive is not an option. I need those files!

You can use it to find the 'deleted' on your hard drive, files that are not deleted. They stay there until they are crushed.
